You believe White Sox Dave believes the person who sent it to him. Why do you believe Mike Panozzo? I believe you. So if you believe Dave, I guess we're all believing Mike Panozzo. And if someone believes me, they believe you, Dave, and Mike Panozzo.

While I wouldn't bet against it being legit, I never accept on face value that stuff is true.

They made #8 look easy. That's more than half way. A couple milestones are coming up. One is not made up. Saturday- Double Digit Losing Streak Day the team will bring in their all time doubles leaders of Thomas, Appling, Konerko, Fox, Baines, Abreu, Collins, Minoso, Durham, and Falk. Not to throw out first pitches, but to play on one day contracts. They lose in the 10th when they collectively said "f*** this man on second s%*#. In our day we actually hit doubles to get on base" and walked off. Sunday - Swept for Three Series Day first 1,000 fans receive and Libman broom. Actually only 132 fans are in attendance, all wearing Jay's gear receive brooms. The rest JR sells on eBay. The money will be spent. May 5 - Fitting Tribute Game. Most remaining fans who want to watch the team tie the all time Sox losing streak mark will not be able to because the game is only on Apple+.

GT 4/27: Best Team in Baseball vs. 4th in the AL Central - 6:10 CT

While I agree with the underlying concept that they are overmatched I disagree they are like a college team. The college teams I've watch give a f*** and hustle and give the appearance of trying. Hell, my high school team shows more desire to win. -

If you have the Rays in a 13 run pool, close but not a win. They will score a couple more. -

Good point. My analysis is Cease has the better chance of a complete game shut out. I'm not worried about the offense putting up six or seven runs. -

Friends and family like most of the former coaching staff. I'm wondering why they kept him. -

This is a huge loss if they hope to set the record. Cease is about the only one who could single handedly (no pun intended) end the streak with a complete game shut out. 8 and 13 would be his. -

I believe apathetic is closer to the truth than pissed and harder to overcome going forward.

“Adversity is an education” and Sox not the 2018-19 Royals

*aka bad ideas. Bring back Leury in the #3 spot to spark some hitting.

Currently at 7 games. Sox record 15 AL record 21 MLB record 23 It's a long way to go but the lack of give a s%*#, offensive, and bull pen makes it all possible. They really don't need much to go wrong. Just keep playing like the past couple weeks and by the middle of May it could be a historic season.

Are the 2023 White Sox the worst Sox team you've ever seen?
Texsox replied to joejoesox's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Watching those early 1970s teams on fuzzy, snowy, UHF channels maybe clouds my judgement because I see this team's s%*# in high def 4k. -
Someone should write a story of the 2005 to today White Sox. Maybe compare it to Bed Bath and Beyond or Enron

You don't hire a GM you rent their luck.

Somewhere Leury is laughing in his beer. -
Dare to dream. If they trade some starting pitching it's within reach.

JR please hire a guy who in his last gig led a team picked to win their division to a 69-93 record eleven years ago to be our next manager. Bonus points if he can piss off major sections of the fan base. Checking the usual list. You won't be bidding against anyone else, he is an ex player, and drinks a lot.

I started a thread. 15 consecutive losses is the Sox record. These guys could break it.
-
I think this team could break the record of 15 consecutive losses. I think they have the offense and bullpen, two key ingredients, to make that happen. I am worried about Cease tossing a shut out in a 1-0 win.
