  1. I know I don't post here often, but I need help with my website. I think I made the whole thing on a font that the everyday person doesn't have. If you would, please go to http://www.gogroup12.com/fonttest.html and tell me if you see a difference between the three fonts. Thanks in advance.
  2. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jul 6, 2007 -> 08:28 PM) So it's not possible he's actually improved and is just a bit shaky during his first start? We had him start when it was way too early in his development and it threw him off. After his first season, he was sent back down to AAA and thought never to be seen again. Then last year, he had an amazing spring and made the rotation. He had one unbelieveable game against the Cardinals but got shelled for his last 4 starts. At one point he was 4-2 and should have been 5-2 but once he found adversity, he was back to throwing gophers and giving up big innings. So, as of last year when we brought him back up from AAA he was effective for a little while but in the end was another blown prospect.
  3. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jul 6, 2007 -> 08:26 PM) I loooooove snap judgments. Ok, as someone who has seen him numerous times, he needs more than a second chance to be good in the majors.
  4. QUOTE(Craig Grebeck @ Jul 6, 2007 -> 08:22 PM) Oh, please. One bad pitch. You already had your f***ing mind made up about Gavin before he started tonight. Gavin needs a miracle to save his career as a ballplayer
  5. Southside! There's a great pub on the 2500 block of Sarah Street in Southside. I suggest checking it out.
  6. Fields with a base hit, Terrero scores, Fields to 2nd - No outs
  7. This is the most depressing start to a game thread that I've ever seen Terrero with a stolen base after being hit by a pitch
  8. burrell is close to the league lead in walks... i think he's 3rd or 4th ha, that foul ball was almost caught by kyle kendrick's dad
  9. The weather does not look good at all, but if it clears up I'll be goin to the game, section 126 behind the Sox dugout.
  10. I hate to be the voice of, well, philadelphism, but thats all in the past. Maybe I just don't know because I haven't seen a championship... ever... but nothing in that video impacts this season except for maybe "No matter what happens from here on out, we'll always have this in our pocket." To me that says "Who cares what we do from here on out, we won the series and I'm content with that and always will be." If you're not playing for today, why are you playing at all? (Alright! I just got rookie status! Maybe I'll post here more often)
  11. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Jun 12, 2007 -> 02:20 PM) Hence the addition of the ?, I thought it was a done deal too by reading the thread title. It seems that the only person who heard this thing on WFAN is the person who started the thread.
  12. QUOTE(southsideirish @ Jun 12, 2007 -> 02:15 PM) So where is this deal? I went to ESPN.com and googled it and came up with nothing. Has it happened yet? When will it happen? There is no deal. This is strictly a rumor.
  13. Listened to WFAN's update and it was not mentioned.
  14. Kyle Kendrick, just called up from Reading yesterday, will pitch tomorrow. In his last 5 starts, he has a 1.98 era
  15. What severly pisses me off is that the Phils NEVER gave Garcia a physical after getting him in a trade.
  16. http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20...sp&c_id=mlb Pretty much just recalling his time in Chicago
  17. Jimmy T almost got up... Absolutely no one stepped up for the Sox tonight, which is just sad. One inning with 2 hits, and that was the only real threat. Now, Eaton has been pitching very well as of late except for a bad game here and there but 5 hits against him and the Phils bullpen in a shutout? Tomorrow is another day.
  18. I'm a casual Harvick fan, so I'm thrilled that he won. Martin is a good story, but he's not even going to run all the races or compete for the championship, so I'm glad Harvick won. #29
  19. Steve Carlton. I have a helmet signed by him right next to me right now. I wish he would have spent his entire carear with the Phillies... his post-Philadelphia days were sometimes hard to watch.
  20. Phillies! I think Cleveland has the best from top to bottom. I think Detroit was a one year wonder.
  21. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Jan 7, 2007 -> 10:29 PM) And how many college coaches are going to have to go to the NFL and fail before this stops? Who was the last college head coach to successfully make the transition and stick? Dick Vermiel
  22. Floyd... don't put too much money on him but a few bucks isn't out of the question.
