You let him "get back" by using him in setup. Prove he can get an inning in without giving up a run, or two.

 

You don't throw him in there to test the water against KC, who you are chasing, in a save opp, that'd be ridiculous and Jerry would be run out of town if he blew it.

Royals with an error on an easy double play...Berroa threw it away after bobbling it on 2nd....should have been a simple DP

 

Worse for the Royals, Berroa is down injured....not sure for what but looks like something on the elbow

 

if he goes to the DL, that will kill the Royals

 

On a similar note, I just noticed the pitcher from game 2 Snyder has been put on the DL
