Has anyone heard anything about the Sox agreeing to terms with Mat Latos? Our old buddy "Jimbo's Drinker" (Dan) just tweeted it and then deleted it a few minutes later. He definitely has some good contacts and used to work for the White Sox, so I imagine there might be some truth to it.

Unfortunately, I think most voters probably just settled on Henry to be done with it.

I still find it hard to believe that LSU would force out Les. But if they do: 1) They better have someone really good lined up beforehand. He's 62 and enjoys spending time with his family. I could see him going the TV route. He's such a character. One of the last remaining coaches that speaks his mind, rather than that "CEO" mentality that they all seem to have. College football coaches are so bland now with all this coach-speak, but that's a different discussion.

I never knew how awful people were about tipping until I became friends with a waitress at a restaurant I go to a lot. I couldn't believe what she would tell me about her tips.

One of my best friends was just on CSI Cyber tonight. Never been more excited to see a character come on screen during a TV Show. He had 2 lines. But it was awesome.

Though a lot of posters have gone away, it's nice to many still around. I don't post a ton, but I'm on here every day. It has been interesting to see so many of us grow up - people getting married, having kids, etc. I was 15 - a sophomore in high school - when I joined SoxTalk. Now I'm 27. It's astonishing to think about how much changes during those years in life. And yet I've been coming to this site almost every day for all of those years. That's a testament to the job Jason has done, as well as the admins/moderators who help run the site.
