  1. Damn, can't quite make out what the newspaper says. Looks like: Los Angeles ______ found ______ dowtown...
  2. Wow, I don't even know how to describe how I'm feeling after that. I really wish there were only 2 seasons left instead of 3. And who the hell are the people on the boat that Naomi was with? QUOTE(Jenks Heat @ May 17, 2007 -> 02:52 PM) Yes, that is Nadia that Charlie helps. Who's Nadia btw?
  3. Damn, that's just scary that someone could be that crazy. Dude has some serious problems.
  4. QUOTE(Wedge @ May 23, 2007 -> 04:07 PM) "Snape kills Dumbledore" Oh man, when I read that on here, I was so severely pissed off. Fortunately, the book was still badass, but it would have been such a rediculous surprise if I didn't already know that tidbit of info. Anyway, back to Lost... I can't wait for tonight!!!
  5. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ May 23, 2007 -> 12:57 PM) Looks like you picked a good one in De Los Santos Dan. Yeah, no kidding. The guy is simply on fire.
  6. He probably could have pulled the horse out by himself... haha
  7. MVP was absolutely sick. I actually used to play every game of a 164 game season with a fantasy drafted team. So much fun.
  8. QUOTE(Texsox @ May 17, 2007 -> 09:55 PM) "Jew him down" is just a common phrase in today's world. Kids everywhere say it. It means the same thing as "To get him to lower the price." Meanings of some words change over the years and that's whats happened with "Jew"... If you don't like it, get over it. Public opinion is generally protected by the 1st Amendment, and if it's someone's opinion that they should be able to say "Jew him down" then they should be able to. "n***** rig" is just a common phrase in today's world. Kids everywhere say it. It means the same thing as "patch something together." Meanings of some words change over the years and that's whats happened with "n*****"... If you don't like it, get over it. Public opinion is generally protected by the 1st Amendment, and if it's someone's opinion that they should be able to say "n***** rig," then they should be able to. Why was gay substituted for stupid? That answer is why society frowns on these stereotypes. Wow, Tex. Saying "gay" is nowhere near the n-word. I like what you have to say 99% of the time, but that's a rediculous analogy. Like SS2k5 said, why did "gay" start substituting for "homosexual?" If someone were to say "that's homosexual," then you could use your above analogies as examples of wrongly using a phrase. I think "gay" has too many different meanings to compare to the n-word or calling someone a "Jew."

  10. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ May 16, 2007 -> 02:07 PM) Wait until they see my "concealed weapon" That's what I'm talking about!
  11. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ May 16, 2007 -> 01:04 PM) Anyways, thanks for the info, and welcome to the site! Yes, agreed. Heckuva way to contribute with your first post, putting an end to all our suspicions.
  12. QUOTE(Cerbaho-WG @ May 15, 2007 -> 12:15 PM) Um, what performance are you talking about? Hmm, maybe I should have been more clear. What I meant was that I was instantly a fan b/c of both his name and then his numbers he put up his first year in Arizona, where he broke the record for doubles in a season and looked to possibly grow into a big-time power threat. That's what made me start liking the guy.
  13. Thanks for posting this. I've always wondered about some of the things mentioned in the song, but never bothered to look them up. Now, I've got an understanding of everything mentioned in the song. :::
  14. QUOTE(danman31 @ May 15, 2007 -> 03:31 AM) Ricks 2-2, 2 2B, 2 R, 2 BB Damn, haven't heard about Ricks in a long time. Glad to see he's still alive. On another note, I love how Schnur is just knockin the cover off the ball. I've long been a big fan (1st b/c of his cool-sounding name, then b/c of actual performance, lol) since we drafted him out of Basic HS (NV). He's definitely still young enough to warrant a promotion to see what he can do another level higher.
  15. Okay, I'm at 51, and need to take a break. This is rediculous.
  16. Hmm, today just kinda sucked for White Sox baseball all around, didn't it?
  17. I would love to get Borbon, but I am a little biased seeing as we go to the same school. Though, I'd probably prefer to get a SS or C if that player was actually worthy of being drafted at our pick.
  18. Let me just say that I'm completely psyched about the draft being on TV this year. I love the idea. Watching on my computer last year kinda sucked, though at the time, it was better than nothing.
  19. Been to: Ohio Michigan Illinois Tennessee Kentucky Pennsylvania Virginia Georgia South Carolina Florida Alabama Mississippi Louisiana Arkansas Texas Missouri Minnesota New Mexico Colorado Maryland
  20. QUOTE(juddling @ May 7, 2007 -> 07:10 PM) I think the show ends with the Harlem Globetrotters showing up on the island and rescuing the remaining losties...but not before Curly Neal takes on Hurley in a game of ping-pong. I must say that I'd rather have two seasons of 24 episodes, but whatever. I'm just really excited for everything to be revealed.
  21. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ May 6, 2007 -> 05:04 PM) 2. Platinum Plus - Memphis, Tennessee That's what I'm talking about! Makes me proud to be from Memphis.
