We had strippers come twice to a house that some of my buddies live in, but I've never actually been to a strip club. I don't really care to go, but I will if my buddies want to, so yeah, I'll probably go some time over the summer.

QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ May 5, 2007 -> 11:17 AM) are you implying there is a homosexual on the site which looks better than you? Nice catch.

QUOTE(BearSox @ May 6, 2007 -> 02:06 AM) Sometimes it is amazing how this planet and universe work. That's kinda what I was thinking when watching the video.

I'm pulling for De La Hoya. Not sure if he'll win, but I do want him to.

Justin Gaitlin Trying out for Buccaneers

I wouldn't expect him to make it. He and Jonathan Wade (who just got drafted) were both track stars that also played football. Wade had what it took, and now he's in the NFL. Gatlin didn't, so he focused on track. Anything can happen, though. -
Wow, people just disgust me sometimes. I hate that this world is becoming such a "sue-happy" place. GMAFB. I swear, people suck.

QUOTE(WhiteSoxfan1986 @ May 3, 2007 -> 03:41 AM) I have to admit this song is pretty catchy (mainly the corus), I've had it in my head the last couple of days. I wouldn't put the song on a CD or anything, but I will admit that the chorus has been stuck in my head since I listened to the song the other day. -
18 - 5'9'' haha, jeez, I'm short compared to you trees out there

If I see someone really tall, I think "Damn, he's tall." And that's about it. If you're like 6'3'', I think nothing about it.

Post Your Questions for Gio Gonzalez and Jack Egbert!
dasox24 replied to Heads22's topic in FutureSox Board
For both: What's your plan on the mound? How do you go about attacking a hitter? What are some things you need to improve on to make it to the majors? What pitches do you throw and how confident are you in each of them? -
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Apr 28, 2007 -> 09:30 PM) A-Rod He's one player I really could see KW overpaying for.

Even if they're not fans, I still got really excited when I saw those two wearing Sox hats. It's just badass to see them wearing it.

QUOTE(WhiteSoxfan1986 @ Apr 27, 2007 -> 04:21 AM) What's Cassel's stuff like? Well, I can't tell you too much about his "stuff" as I haven't seen him in person, but here's what I wrote about him last summer after we drafted him: Check this out too

QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 27, 2007 -> 02:29 AM) Jeff Jordan Officially to Illinois. I really think that's awesome. Even if he's not the most talented player ever, I guarantee his basketball IQ has to be very good. So if anything, Illinois will be gettin a Jack Ingram-type walk-on that can give them 15-20 minutes of solid play by the time he's a junior.

Cassel with another big performance. He's just lights out right now.

QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Apr 21, 2007 -> 02:33 AM) This isn't technically recruiting, but I have seen a few rumos Tyler Smith is leaving Iowa. Anyone have a scoop? Well, it's all but official. Smith will be transfering to the University of Tennessee and start classes at the beginning of the summer.

QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Apr 23, 2007 -> 12:44 AM) None of them better change their minds throughout the course of this process, lest they forget the meaning of the word commitment.

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Apr 22, 2007 -> 08:21 AM) Cassell has an ERA under 1 and after tonights amazing performance (8 innings, 2 hits and a run) his ERA actually went up to .93. I've loved Cassel since the day we drafted him. I'm so glad to see him do well b/c he's "my" prospect.

QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Apr 21, 2007 -> 06:17 PM) Nate Palmer to Illinois as well. 2 Rivals top 250 in 5 minutes. Nice. We got a nice little Simeon connection going on today!

QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Apr 21, 2007 -> 06:06 PM) Jack Ramsey to Illinois. Yep, great first commit for Illinois! In other news, Darius Fleming committed to ND today.

QUOTE(Jenks Heat @ Apr 19, 2007 -> 09:25 PM) When Sayid, Locke, Rousseau and Kate arrived at the Flame Station Mikhail spoke that he was the last remaining member of Dharma and that the purge elimianted the other members. Something like this. The flashback in a couple weeks will cover this. He said that he had agreed to mind his own busniness and never bother them. This was later proved wrong as he is an Other and not part of the Dharma initiative. The deaths are assumed to be related to the covering of the purge events and how Dharma and the Others interact. Ohhhhh yeah... Thanks.
-
QUOTE(Jenks Heat @ Apr 19, 2007 -> 07:29 PM) I believe the deaths will be related to the "purge" spoken of by Mikhail not the Losties or the Others. Sorry, all this stuff gets really confusing, but what is this "purge" you speak of?

Chicago Shamrocks - LaCrosse

QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Apr 16, 2007 -> 08:18 PM) Thanks. Oh, I would guess that the outdoor variety is gearing up soon? Where does the pro-team in Chicago play? Yep. The Chicago Machine will start MLL play on May 19. They play at Toyota Park. Actually, one of my coaches from my high school team will go up in early May to try out for the Machine. It's probably not likely that he'll make it as he's been out of organized lacrosse for 3 years now, but he's the best player I've ever seen in person, so I'm not counting him out yet. -

QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Apr 16, 2007 -> 02:54 PM) In between every period (quarter...inning...whatever they call it) the cheerleaders (dancers...whatever) come out and do a routine. They're quarters. QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Apr 16, 2007 -> 02:54 PM) Thanks for the info about the shots. I'm pretty interested in this stuff now. It really was a very cool time. My wife is seriously hooked. She wants one of the jerseys. I told her maybe after we go to a few more games. Those things are $160! I haven't paid that much for any of my Sox stuff yet! Yeah, no prob. I'm more than happy to answer any questions, so if you go to games in the future and have a question, shoot me a PM or something, and I'll do my best to explain.
