How is this not a good trade for Arizona? All they do is give up a 39-year-old Finley, who wouldn't help them much this year, and they get some good prospects in return.
Yep, it sounds like he is from what I've seen of him and read about him. Also, he's definitely not the guy you'd think would come to bat with "The Way You Move" by Outkast playing, but he does.
Well, that's really good to here. Even if Marc can't make it back, at least it sounds like he's working his ass off to get back. If somehow, he can come back, that would be awesome. Although, personally, I don't think he will.
*cringe* Did you have to post an article with that reference in it? I still think of the possibilities had Charlie not backed out of his commitment and still gone to Illinois. We would have the down low presence we need, and would be clear cut favorites to win the Big Ten, even though we kinda already are.
It sounds like Jon was ready for a change. Here's part of a quote from after the game:
"I was extremely happy to get out of the White Sox organization."
However, he did decline to comment on the situation about him leaving the game early, which shows some maturity on his part by not b****ing to the papers about his side of the story.
Let's go Sox! Let's get over that fact that we don't have Maggs and Frank, and have some guys step it up! Texas lost A-rod this year, and other guys stepped it up and now they're better b/c of it. There's no reason that we can't do the same.
I'm gonna sound stupid for saying this, but why don't people just use regular condoms that don't due a thing except help prevent having a baby? What's with the warm sensations and the rest of that stuff?
I just read on chicagobears.com that he's out b/c of a pulled hammy he suffered a while ago, but should be able to practice next week, like Chimpy said.
