This isn't much info that we already don't know, but I thought I'd share it anyway. And here's a little something on my favorite college baseball player, who'll be a sure 1st round pick next year. I'd love to have him in the Sox minor leagues, but hopefully he'll be gone before we pick.

I hate talking about the '94 season. It just makes me sick knowing that Frank probably would have won the Triple Crown, and we probably would've won the World Series.

Anyone know who are some big name free agents next year or the year after? With all this talk of getting rid of salaries like JYD's and E-Rob's, maybe there's a guy that's gonna be a FA that Pax really wants.

I don't know anything about the brawl except for what I've read here, but was it like the White Sox-Tigers one in 2000? If so, I wish I could've seen it. I wonder how many suspensions will be handed out from this one? Could it break the record that us and the Tigers set?

The thing I don't get about holdouts in the NFL is that there is certain money alloted to every pick, so the player doesn't get much say in how much the contract is for. The only thing that can really change is the amount of years, which I don't see as being that big of a deal. I just don't get why so many players hold out. It can only hurt the player with development, the coaches, and the fans. There's nothing good about a holdout for a player.

This sucks for the Dolphins. He may be overrated, but he's still a damn good back that most teams would really like to have.

He's 23, which is a little old for Kanny, but not too old. Birmingham won 2-1 in 10 innings. Spidale 1-3 with rbi and stolen base, and Anderson was 2-4 with a double. Bull with a very good start, giving up 1 run (earned) in 7 IP. LaMura with perfect game of relief. Bham Box Great Falls lost 9-5. David Cook was 2-5. I guess he got sent down to Great Falls; he was previously with Kanny. Chris Kelly was 2-4 with a rbi, and Lucy was 1-4 with a rbi. Ray Liotta got roughed up for 8 runs (6 earned) in 4 IP. He also recorded 4 k's and 0 bb's. Great Falls Box Other thoughts on today's games: Gray just continues to hit for Kanny; He really should get a shot in W-S soon; I just don't think Armador is deserving over Gray... Javier Castillo went 3-4 for Bristol; He's been really hot lately. He's becoming my one of my new favorite players in Bristol, along with De Los Santos and Gio... Schnur and my boy Bounds stay hot for Kanny too... Brice has been super hot for W-S; he's raised his avg. like 35 pts. in 2 weeks. It's great to see him finally doing well; Maybe getting the call to play on the Australia national team got him feelin good about himself and jumpstarted him... Diaz had a great start. It's good to see him back to his early of the year form (7 IP, 1 run, 9 K, 0 BB)... I see that two ex-Knights pitched against us tonight (Ginter and Darensbourg)... Valdez with 2 more hits tonight, but no walks... Good to see LaMura dong well again back in the 'pen, where he should be. I just don't think he has any future as a starter...

Frasier Dizard has been just sick in Kanny. He deserves this promotion very much. He's got great stuff (I'm pretty sure he has a plus fastball and curv) and only fell to the 10th round of the draft b/c he had a bad year after his father was diagnosed with a brain toomer, IIRC.

I have a hard time deciding whether or not I think she's hot or not. Sometimes I'll see her and think that "hey, she's not that bad," and then other times I'm like "uh, she is that bad". As for her singing ability, I'm not sure. I don't think she's that bad. I know one thing for sure, I'd buy her CD before her sister's anyday.

I totally agree. At the end of the season 2 years ago, when Jamal finished really strong, I was really excited about him as a player. But after seeing him throughout the year, he's way overrated. I could care less if we get rid of him. Actually, I'd rather not have him on our team next year than have him on our team 'cause he'll probably be a cancer all year.

I noticed that same thing (about him DHing a lot) and I have no idea why he is so much. But, you're right about him being a SS in college. However, from the looks of it, he only played 3B about 8 times in his college career, so he's not too experienced there. However, that's not to say he can't play 3B, he just hasn't much.

No, you're not wrong. He did play 2B in college, but he can play other positions too, like 3B and SS.

I see that Qyntel Woods had 28 points. I know that it's summer league, but I think this guy is gonna have a break out season either this or next year. He's totally devoted himself to basketball, he's in the best shape of his life, and he's gotten over his marijuana problem. This guy is gonna be very, very good in a few years.

I don't like this trade for Orlando, but two of the guys on the radio where I live did. They both said that Gooden's stats are "plastic" and that he can't be counted on when the team needs him. He also has no heart and is a 'tweener. I guess after seeing him in Memphis was enough for these guys to make an opinion on Gooden. Although, being on his 3rd team in 2 years, doesn't say much about Gooden, does it?

Thinking of all these good announcers has made me think about which announcers really suck. My list goes something like this: 1. Eric Dickerson 2. Dickie-V 3. Bill Walton 4. John Madden I could think of some more, but I'll leave it at that for now... Anyone else like to share who they think suck as broadcasters?

Yeah, maybe that big trade that Hawk promised last year is coming this year, lol. I wonder if the Maggs for Jones/Ortiz talks are back on? I think I would still make that deal. Jones has made a couple of web gem plays in just the last week, something he hasn't had as much of this year as in years past.
