  1. Yeah, I've got a feeling that Anderson is gonna change that.
  2. Yeah man, it's just getting old. We get your point.
  3. To add to what Dan said, he was our 25th round draft pick out of Southern U, and can play multiple infield positions. He played 3B at Southern b/c their 2B was Rickie Weeks (Brewers 1st round draft pick last year).
  4. I think some swimming would be involved too. Unless you can walk on water...
  5. That's awesome guys! I can't wait to hear more of y'alls interviews!
  6. damn, wtf! Rogo or Pollok needed to be promoted.
  7. I'm not counting Hankins out. He has flat out raked, and I think he's got a legit shot at making the team out of spring training next year, I just don't think he's a "prospect."
  8. O s***, I don't know how I totally forgot about Mich. St. Here are my new predictions: 1. Illinois 2. Wisconsin 3. Mich. St. 4. Michigan 5. Indiana I think Indiana and Michigan are gonna be fighting for that #4 spot, but I think Michigan will win out in the end.
  9. Nice job, Jas. I really hope that it's either Rogo or Pollok that gets called up, and not someone else that has absolutely no prospect status for us at all.
  10. I think you may be right on that one. Pollok has proved he can get it done in High-A ball and Wasserman has proved himself in Low-A ball, so why not move both of them up and see how they do? Of course, moving Pollok up to Bham might keep Rogo from getting called up, so that's a tough decision to make. Hansen has had two big games in a row. Hopefully, he'll continue to hit, and maybe he'll become the 2nd real catching prospect after Lucy. Hankins, at 28 and in his first year as a cathcer, is too old and inexperienced for prospect status as a catcher, imo.
  11. Yeah, I saw that. Francis is just dealin' no matter where he goes.
  12. Thanks for the kind words. And, yeah, very true about Lucy being one of the very few big names in Great Falls. However, it's where most of our high draft picks went, so although most people don't really know who they are, they might if some of them start kicking ass in Kanny or Winston-Salem next year. On a side note, I think that Great Falls and Bristol were the only team's without writers for them, so I figuered I'd at least pick the team that had most of our high draft choices, except for Fields, Lumsden, and Gio.

I don't think that it's you. Last year, I played a game on varsity level, 12 minute quarters, and sacked the QB 42 times with my LOLB. I think I had 56 sacks as a team that game. This year, the most sacks I've gotten in one game is 3, and that was playing 4 minute quarters on varsity level.
  14. Yeah, I think that Northwestern is gonna be better than people think. There style of play (Princeton offense) wins them games. Even when teams know what they're gonna do, sometimes they still can't stop their offense. I'm pretty worried about Wisconsin this year, as well as Michigan. I don't think that Wisconsin will take as many steps back, with the loss of Harris, as some people think. Michigan is young, and could really suprise a lot of people this year. Here's my prediction for who the top 4 teams will be at the end of the year in the Big Ten: 1. Illinois 2. Wisconsin 3. Michigan 4. Indiana Btw, I am an Illinois fan. I don't know when Doyle transfered, but didn't Thompson transfer to NU this year? If so, then he'll have to sit out.
  15. Kelly Dransfeldt is playing 3B there; I'd much rather stick with Crede, as I'm sure everyone else would, so no help will be coming from Charlotte to help the 3B situation. Our closest 3B prospects, Fields (high A) and Schnurstein (low A), are both in A-ball, so we won't see them for a couple years. And, as for our catcher situation: Like others said before, Ryan Hankins is doing very well in AAA, in his 1st season as a catcher. But, he's 28 years old and need to work on blocking balls in the dirt and few other things. Lucy is our best catcher prospect. He's really struggling in rookie ball right now, but he's very athletic, and definitely a guy to watch out for. However, he's still years away.
  16. You can find out a ton of info on our minor leaguers at Futuresox.com or at the Future Sox forum here.
  17. Bulls improve to 3-0 in summer league play. Deng with 20 pts. and 7 rebs., and Gordon added 19 pts. off the bench. Box Score
  18. We'd probably could give up Maggs, and get Mota and Ed Jackson in return...
  19. Winter, when nothing's going on, except school... :puke
