Can we please promote Rogo to Birmingham? He had another good game for W-S tonight, which is not anything unusual. He's definitely got to be the first player listed on the new "Promote me already!" feature on FutureSox.

That sounds like a really good idea! All these new features on FutureSox are gonna be so awesome!

What happened to Clinton King? I'm pretty sure that someone on here knows what happened to him, but if not, I'd bet that one of the Kanny players would know what happened. He had a great year last year for Great Falls, and played the first month or so of the season this year, but I haven't heard about him since then. I know that this is kind of a werid question for you guys to ask, esp. since you'll probably want to talk to guys about themselves and not other players, but I was just looking at pictures for Great Falls last year, and wondered what the hell happened to this guy? -
Great Falls won 10-7. Kelly was 1-2 w/ a HR and 3 rbi. Lucy had himself another big game, going 2-3 w/ a double, a HR, 3 rbi, and a stolen base. Hopefully his last two games are a sign of things to come from Mr. Lucy. Suarez got the win giving up 2 ER in 5 IP. Zaleski gave up his first runs of the year (after going 9.2 innings w/ giving up a run), giving up 2 ER in 1 IP. Great Falls Box

Kanny won 5-0. Gray went 4-5 w/ a HR and a stolen base. Bounds went 3-4 a HR and 2 rib. Bounds has been really hot as of late. His avg. was hanging below .200 for the first month or so of the season, and is now up to .281. Young went 1-5 w/ 3 k's. Ryan Rodriguez was flat out dominant. He went 7 innings, giving up 3 hits, 0 runs, and striking out 8. Kanny Box Charlotte won 6-4. Valdez went 3-4. Borch was 1-3 w/ a solo HR and a BB. Dransfeldt was 2-4. Stewart got the win giving up 3 runs in 7 IP, and Maj got the save going the last 2 innings, giving up 1 run. Charlotte Box Bristol lost 3-2. De Los Santos went 1-4 w/ an rbi. Javier Castillo was 2-4 w/ a double. Lucas Harrell had a very good start throwing a perfect 5 innings w/ 4 k's. Bristol Box W-S won 10-9. A-Gon was 2-4 w/ 3 runs and a solo HR. Fields was 2-4 w/ a double and 2 rbi. Rogo was 1-3 w/ 2 BB's. Sweeney and Brice went 0-4. Tracey got the win giving up 2 runs in 5 IP, although he was pretty wild, walking 4 and hitting 3 batters. Pollok got the save, his 17th of the year. Winston-Salem Box B-ham won 4-3. Anderson was 2-4 w/ a solo HR and a stolen base. Spidale was 1-5 w/ an rbi. Bullard started the game and got the no-decision giving up 2 runs in 5.2 IP. LaMura got the win, pitching 2 scoreless innings of relief, and Smith got the save, his 5th of the year. LaMura has really been pitching well in relief; maybe he's found his niche in pro ball. B-ham Box

That all sounds pretty f'n badass!

56 straight is definitely harder.

Yeah, I guess that's one long season for him, considering he probably started in Feb./March and wont be done until August, so it's a good idea that we taking it slow w/ him. I knew he missed time after being suspended from his H.S. team, but from what I read, he only missed a game or two and kept pitching after he was kicked off, so that's why I thought he should be pitching longer in games. But, that makes perfect sense that they'd take it slow w/ him since this will probably be the longest season of his career.

The White Sox and Seattle not done dealing?
dasox24 replied to JDsDirtySox's topic in Pale Hose Talk
yes it was... He should have stayed in Minny if he was just gonna b**** soon after about wishing he was still there. Of course, I'm sure if Seattle was playing at all like they have in the last couple of years, Guardado wouldn't have been complaining. -
Great article guys! Although, considering it's the "future" sox team, maybe you should have based it on the players having the best years that have a lot of potential. I just don't see Nelson being a "future" White Sox player. But, whatever, I know this is a lot of work putting this together, so I won't complain any more. Oh, and again, great job on the article!

yeah, I think that he needs to start going to more games; must be good luck!

My guess is that we'd be giving up pitching in this trade, since we gave up 3 hitters in our last trade w/ the M's. It'd probably be Rauch/Diaz and a prospect or two, like you said Jas. -
If there's a perfect time for our offense to get going again, this is it. Lackey is having a pretty bad year, and doesn't do well against the Sox, so we should definitely be able to hit this guy pretty hard.

Holy Shmoly, if we got Guardado that'd be f'n awesome! How great would that be sticking it in the Twins' face when we have Eddie and Shingo closing games against them. They'd have no chance at one of their miracle comebacks w/ those two as our closers. -
Whoa, that's really weird that you mentioned that I read that b/c my sister read it, and told me just a couple of days ago that I should read it. It sounds pretty good; I can't wait to start reading it. I plan on starting it after I get my summer reading for school out of the way.

All I know about this guy is that he's 19, bats and throws righty, plays 2b, and is pretty small at 5'11'', 160 lbs.
-
Do you mean Shawn Chacon? If so, then I think, yes, he is.
-
Pavano b/c he would cost less, improve our rotation a lot, and we could use the extra money on another good reliever.
-
Groom and/or Meadows would be good pick-ups. Maybe Hasegawa and Sully too, but I'd prefer Meadows first, then Groom.

Thanks for the recap for us that aren't able to listen.

awesome, it sounds like a breeze setting it up. Too bad I have dial-up, though, which I imagine will go really slow.
