  1. I agree w/ everything you on that it seems like Gordon has a great personality and game, but I disagree about not liking the pick. Although, it would be ideal to have a 6'6'' or 6'7'' SG, it's not the end of the world to have one that's just over 6'2''. I mean, look at the 76ers team that went to the NBA Finals a few years back. They had Eric Snow (6'3'') and A.I. (6'0'') as their starting guards, and I think they did just fine b/c Snow was just a great defender even though he was shorter than prefered(i.e. Hinrich) and A.I. could score at will(i.e. Gordon). Of course, I'm not saying that Gordon is just like Iverson, but he is that type of player (luckily, w/out the attitude). And, Hinrich is a really good defensive player like Snow, but has a better offensive game than Snow. Plus, we could have the big men that the 76ers didn't if Curry and Chandler develop, and I think they will. They both seem to be working really hard on improving this offseason, especially Chandler who it seems like is always working out at the Berto Center.
  2. Great Falls is losing 3-0 going into top of 6th, and Winston-Salem was off today. B-Ham won 8-7, Baj got his 11th save w/ a 1-2-3 9th inning lowering his ERA to .98. Charlotte's game was postponed in the 3rd.
  3. As much as I hate Duke and it's players, I have no problem w/ them once their in the NBA. I like the Duhon pick. Like others have said before, he's smart, plays good defense, is experienced, and can give good minutes off the bench as a backup.
  4. Teahan and Buck are pretty good prospects, but I don't know about Wood.
  5. I think that Dotel is a great pick up for the A's. He's a badass reliever!
  6. I'm loving this draft right now. Hopefully Gordon will have the type of impact that 'Melo had last year (like Kerr suggested), and Deng will be a very solid player in the league for years. I can't wait to see who we get in round 2.

  20. Don't worry. The last time we had 2 lottery picks, we picked 2 absolute all-stars: Marcus Fizer and Jamal Crawford!
