It's good to see Fields get 2 hits tonight... Evan T. had a nice opening game for Bristol... And congrats to Lumsden and G-Gon on having great first games as Sox.
I'd love to have Maggs back, but if he's not 100%, there's no need for him to come back b/c I don't want him playing hurt or getting hurt again. Maggs is a huge part of our team and we're gonna really need him late in the season.
Very true. Isn't there a saying that goes like "A division isn't won in April, but it can be lost in April," or something like that. Well, I guess the same can be said about June and July.
We're definitely not "out of it" if we don't take 3 of 4, but it sure would suck not to considering Minny's playing Boston, and we have a serious chance to take first place again!
Oh, and Let's go Sox!
Another exception, like Nevin, is Scott Podsednik for the Brewers. This guy didn't do anything until last year when he was 27. He's not the best player in the world, but he's a pretty solid player and will probably be a fixture in CF for the Brewers for many years.
My brother and I were talking about that last night. Other teams seem to feast on inexperienced pitchers, but other team's inexperienced pitchers seem to feast on us. I don't get it.
That sux there goes the undefeated season... But seriously, although no one had a standout game, it's good to see some guys have decent games (i.e. Banks, McGary, Hansen)
