QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Nov 21, 2011 -> 03:34 PM) No. Oh whatever, Row... If he got hurt, you know you wouldn't feel sorry for him. Just like no Packers fan feels bad about us losing Cutler. -

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Nov 21, 2011 -> 03:33 PM) Matt Flynn will be starting somewhere next year. I think people overestimate Flynn's ability. It's not terribly difficult to look good in garbage time or in the preseason. Unless Flynn has made just incredible strides in the NFL, he'll never be starter material. I watched this guy plenty at LSU and he was simply an average QB. -

Why the hell can't Aaron Rodgers get hurt on some fluke injury? Nothing too serious or anything (I don't hate the guy), but a 6-8 week injury would be excellent. -

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Nov 21, 2011 -> 01:12 PM) Very unlikely, but what I'm hoping for: Arkansas beats LSU Friday Auburn beats Alabama Saturday Notre Dame beats Stanford Saturday Georgia beats Arkansas 12/3 Oklahoma beats Oklahoma State 12/3 Clemson beats Virginia Tech 12/3 At that point, the only undefeated team is Houston and the only 1-loss teams are LSU and Boise State. Who gets into the NC game then??? LSU for sure. And I'd say some 2-loss teams (Bama, Ok St) could still have a chance like LSU in '07 when they ended up winning the NC with 2 losses. -

QUOTE (daa84 @ Nov 20, 2011 -> 09:04 AM) Im not sure it mattered because Vandy would have likely lost anyways, but im not sure how the Refs in the UT-vandy game can get away with what happened on the last play of the game. UT picks off Jordan Rodgers, and returns it for a TD. Play was CLEARLY whistled and signaled dead by the linesman who mistakenly thought his knee was down (his knee was clearly not down, but it shouldn't matter because the play was blown dead). So the ruling is that he is down, not that it was a TD. If the player is ruled down, which he was, the play is unreviewable by definition because a whistle blew stopping play. This was the initial call by the refs Somehow, the refs review the play, determine the knee was not down, and over the PA system to the second biggest stadium in college football, the ref Lies to everyone, and says there was never any whistle, and never any signal that the play was dead (even though this was their initial on the field ruling, and replays clearly confirm it), and they say it was a TD. They reviewed and play they knew was unreviewable, and then lied about not blowing the whistle, all because they knew the initial on the field call was wrong. SEC officials released this statement afterwards... "On the last play of the Vanderbilt-Tennessee game, in overtime, the Tennessee defender intercepted the pass, his knee did not touch the ground and he returned the interception for a touchdown. During the play, the head linesman incorrectly ruled that the Tennessee player's knee was down when he intercepted the pass by blowing his whistle and giving the dead ball signal. The play was reviewed as if there was no whistle on the field and as a result, overturned the incorrect ruling. By rule, if there was a whistle blown, the play is not reviewable." I really think its an absolutely unacceptable move by the officials who should IMO be suspended the rest of the year It's about damn time UT caught a break regarding officiating. After the LSU and North Carolina f*** ups last year, we more than deserve that. And the ref shouldn't have f'd up the call in the first place. That knee wasn't even close to being down. -

Tyler Bray (UT's QB) broke his thumb this year and was out 5 weeks. That's about the best we can hope for. -

What a game! f*** Detroit and Matt Stafford. Stafford is such a weak-ass b****. Always chokes in big games (all the way back to college). Loved DJ retaliating. I usually prefer guys to keep their cool, but after the bulls*** Detroit was doing, I was happy to see it. I would have liked one of the offensive lineman getting back at Fairly for that Cutler hit. That's where we miss an enforcer like Kreutz. No doubt he would have waited for an opportunity in a pile and let Fairly know that his actions wouldn't be tolerated. -
Kenny finally got his man... We drafted Veal in like 2003 or sometime way back then, but he went to college.

QUOTE (Rex Hudler @ Nov 10, 2011 -> 08:50 AM) I visited the Miami campus in 1990 for a weekend. We were in bars, on campus, at lunch in the dining hall, etc. I didn't see 10 ugly girls all weekend! Conversely, I went back to Evansville and saw 10 ugly girls in the first 30 minutes back on campus. I would compare Miami to Ole Miss in the South. They have always had a reputation for having good looking women. Maybe not a ton of 10's but 7-9' all over the place. Ah, Ole Miss... One of my absolute favorite places to attend a football game. And so as not to hijack the basketball thread, Ole Miss's basketball team is terrible. -

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Nov 7, 2011 -> 08:24 AM) Can't the SEC realign the divisions like this: West: A&M, Mizzouri, Arkansas, LSU, Ole Miss, MSU, Vanderbilt East: Alabama, Auburn, Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia Nope... That East division would simply be insane, especially once Tennessee returns to the state that they have been for basically their entire existence as a football program. LSU would win the West 9 out of every 10 years. -

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Nov 8, 2011 -> 02:30 PM) Peyton Manning's injury strikes again. The Dec. 4 Colts-Patriots game has been removed from the Sunday night slot and moved to noon. No replacement game named yet. (Bears are at home vs. KC that day, so I highly doubt that gets moved) I have tickets to that game, so that would be awesome... But yeah, don't think Bears-Chiefs would be a good enough match-up for the SNF game. -

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Nov 2, 2011 -> 11:29 PM) Just because it's gone on for 20 years doesn't make it not incredibly stupid. A little more background... http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/basketball/bl...rn=ncaab-wp5820 Looks like it started as a "F--- You" to a referee... -
QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Nov 2, 2011 -> 09:44 PM) The new Gmail look f***ing sucks. They did the same s*** with their calendar look and I hate that too. Not a big fan either. I feel like it's less user-friendly now.

Re: the toilet paper thing... It has been a tradition at that school for like 20 years. The students all do it for the 1st point scored in the 1st game of the season. All the refs and players/coaches from the opposing team know it's going to happen. I think it's kind of cool. And yes, they still get called for the technical anyway. But like it really matters at some no-name, tiny school like that. -
Thanks Knight. Excellent work as always - I really enjoyed seeing how the overall list played out.

I can't wait until I buy a truck (Leaning towards a Silverado, though would also consider a F-150). I have little need for a truck, but I've always wanted a SVU/Truck so I'm going to treat myself to one. And a Tahoe is still in the back of my mind, but they are much more expensive.

QUOTE (Capn12 @ Oct 29, 2011 -> 09:27 PM) Well, you got Worley some game experience, but he isn't ready for that really. It sucks, because Dooley is my 2nd favorite coach in all of football, and I really hope he wins somewhere. I absolutely love Dooley. I really want him to succeed b/c he's just the man. But I do highly question some of his in-game coaching decisions. Then again, he is working with no room for error. With a healthy offense, he can get away with some of those "questionable" decisions. With a healthy Bray, Tennessee wins that game last night. That's what just f***ing pisses me off about losing our 3 best players so far this year. -

QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 29, 2011 -> 09:36 PM) If Clemson comes back to beat GT tonight, they better buy the line judge whatever he wants. Clemson defensive lineman was so far offsides, it wasn't funny and it resulted in 14 point swing. One of the worst non-calls I've ever seen. I really hope GT pulls this one out. -

QUOTE (Disco72 @ Oct 29, 2011 -> 07:42 PM) If anyone is watching the Tennessee game, Rodgers just had one of the worst drops you'll see. A TD pass right through his hands....you just have a feeling the game is going to turn on that. That play clearly changed the game. And Waggner not scoring on his INT return killed. I told the guys I was watching the game with that Worley was going to throw a redzone pick and one play later it happened. Those 2 plays kept 14 points off the board. -

QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Oct 28, 2011 -> 01:44 PM) Ron Swanson I thought about that... but I don't think I could do him justice. Plus, my mustache isn't quite the "Ron Swanson." Of course, if I just lived by these principles, maybe I could pull it off...

QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Oct 26, 2011 -> 09:58 AM) I recently started seeing a girl who's parents house is a house that my parents put a bid on but lost out because her mother had beaten them by a couple days. This was back in 1983 before either of us was born. I had something similar... My parents bought a house from a married couple. 7 years later, I had been dating this girl for about a year and one night "met" her godmother, who was the woman from the couple that sold us our house. Not incredibly unlikely, but in a city of a million people, pretty unlikely.

Anybody got any good ideas if I have a mustache to work with? I have grown out my beard, but will shave it into a mustache if I can think of something good.
