I'm going to Myrtle Beach for Labor Day weekend and I'm more excited about watching Tennessee play Montana on Saturday night than going to the beach or anything else. That's how awesome college football is.

Just got back home from Chicago. I was at the game today and couldn't have picked a better one to attend. Really fun watching the offensive explosion... But, on such a beautiful day, I was disappointed at the attendance. I know we've been incredibly disappointing/frustrating this year, so I get the fact that people may pass on going during weekdays. But on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon? Kinda sad...

I really hate this idea of super-conferences. 12 teams in a league is more than enough.

I always liked "Stark Raving Dad" - the episode guest-staring Michael Jackson where it's Lisa's birthday but Bart doesn't acknowledge it until the end of the episode. Then he and "Michael" (aka Leon) write her a birthday song.

Arrested Development is the one that stands out most to me. And, "Over There" was a show on FX in the mid-2000's about the current Iraq war. I liked it a lot, but it only made it 13 episodes.

Oh my god, how have I managed to miss this thread? Many of these posts were cracking me up, though I shouldn't have started reading this during a conference call - it was so difficult to keep from laughing while watching that video of Lisa Leslie dunking.
