QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Dec 1, 2009 -> 12:30 AM) You'll see me on ESPN this Saturday at 3:30 as GVSU takes on Carson-Newman in the DII National Semifinals. Carson-Newman, huh? They're right here in Knoxville. I had no idea they were that good at football. I sometimes watch their coach's Sunday night show because it comes on after Kiffin's, but didn't realize they were doing so well. -
Qyntel Woods was a bust of a draft pick... Should have gone to college.

QUOTE (knightni @ Nov 27, 2009 -> 06:27 PM) Charlie Weis for Bears O-Coordinator...? That's what my brother has been saying for weeks. And I can't argue with the idea. It would be awesome, though it won't happen. -

I was so nervous at the end of the Tennessee game. After beating Kentucky 24 straight years, I figured this was there year to get us back. But we pulled another one out and it looks like we're going back to the Outback Bowl after going in '06 and '07. Also, Montario Hardesty is such a beast. 39 carries?? He was fantastic tonight. -
QUOTE (MattZakrowski @ Nov 27, 2009 -> 07:58 PM) I got some nice stuff at express, but mostly my first black Friday was a waste of a day, and totally effed my sleep schedule. This is exactly how I feel. I came away with absolutely nothing. I almost bought myself a few things that I didn't really need just to get something, but decided I didn't need to spend the money. I think the deals this year were very subpar.

QUOTE (Heads22 @ Nov 27, 2009 -> 05:05 PM) Horrible clock management by Auburn at the end. It absolutely was. I don't understand how that type of stuff happens in DI football. What the hell were they doing?? Well, looks like the SEC will have a representative in the National Championship, which is great for the conference. But, I still hate Saban/Bama so I was rooting for the upset. -

This officiating in the Illinois-Cincy game has been pretty bad. And go Auburn! I'd love to see Bama go down! -

QUOTE (BigEdWalsh @ Nov 24, 2009 -> 10:32 PM) Ya ever hear of Lothar and the Hand People? They put out I think only one album back in probably 1968. Anyway it was a really good album and they used the theramin quite a bit. The only Lothar I know is this guy...

QUOTE (ChWRoCk2 @ Nov 23, 2009 -> 10:47 PM) Solid win by Purdue over Tennessee Then again the Vols are ranked a bit too high imo. Chalk that one up to bad coaching at the end, like usual. I mean, I'm really not surprised. I don't think Pearl ever knows what he's doing at the end of a close game. We've lost a few big games like that over my 4 years at Tennessee. -

Gotta laugh at this. Kiffin knocked the s*** out of Crompton (our QB) last week after a defensive TD. They sure are having fun out there. -

QUOTE (danman31 @ Nov 23, 2009 -> 04:49 PM) Sorry to bring this up because I have nothing against you personally, but I took a lot of heat for saying Illinois wasn't going to be good this year. The talent level may be there, but it's certainly on Zook that they are this bad 2 years in a row. So you may be half way right. My main argument was on the talent level, not the coaching at lllinois. You said they had a "crap" roster. I didn't agree with that then and I still don't agree with that. They have lots of talent. The coaching staff, however... that's another whole discussion. I definitely was wrong about the losing record thing, though. -

Well, one of the UT players had all charges dropped today from that incident 2 weeks ago. Video cameras showed he wasn't involved. Our team is so banged up right now, his probable return should help. FYI, Tennessee has lost 20 scholarship players from this point last season to now (14 left program/kicked out, 6 season ending injuries - 5 of which on defense). I think that shows even more what an amazing job Lane Kiffin and this staff has done this year. But, I'm worried about Kentucky this week. We're missing half of our defense. -
QUOTE (Brian @ Nov 22, 2009 -> 02:22 PM) What is with the Giants NOT giving the ball to Jacobs in the red zone? Who the frick is Danny Ware? Jacobs is only averaging about 4 yards a carry today. There's your touchdown.

Giving up guitar in 7th grade after like 3 months is one of my regrets in life. Though, I didn't really want to learn, so that never really works. My brother was taking lessons (and pretty darn good guitar player), so I kind of went along with it, but stopped caring. Anyway, I've been told by lots of people I have a really good voice, so I always wish I knew how to play the guitar cause that would be a nice combo - being able to sing and play an instrument.

QUOTE (JuiceCruz16 @ Nov 19, 2009 -> 12:03 PM) Tobias Harris to annoumce today. Down to final 7, and he claims to have made his final decision last night. My guess is he is going to choose Syracuse, but this is just a total guess on my part. I think you're probably right, unfortunately. Though I'm still holding out hope b/c Tobias was at the Tennessee game last night. Bought his own ticket and sat in the upper deck so he could try to watch the game as a normal person and just enjoy the atmosphere without people being all over him.
