  1. Houston absolutely murders Lynn. Look at those splits, yikes.
  2. 1 run on 5 hits, nice. also nice CS Collins
  3. it's crazy how hot he started the season, seemed like he was hitting a HR every week. but I predicted that he would spend a shitload of time on the IL, I said it before the season even started. it was a horrible signing. it's one thing to be cheap, but you're wasting money when the guy can't even play and this has nothing to do with all the injuries this year. Eaton was always known to be an injury risk. just an awful signing
  4. Dylan Cease is a dumpster fire @Chicago White Sox
  5. think we extend either Lynn or Rodon? let's say both walk, that's a huge hit to the rotation for next year. Giolito/Cease/Keuchel/Kopech/5 might not even win the division if they can't replace 1 of these guys with top talent. the only reason the Sox are where they're at right now is because of the starting pitching. and relying on Kopech and Cease next year screams red flag to me even if Jerry greenlights both guys, they could still test FA (and you can't really criticize either guy for it). but if we lose both dudes, that would really suck my personal preference would be to extend Lynn+Rodon, and package Cease in the off season for prospects if he maintains his growth and doesn't implode by the end of the year
  6. such a refreshing moment to see somebody come in late and go 1-2-3 where's Kopech ;/
  7. how long are most rehab assignments for this kind of injury? was listening to Chris Rose's podcast and he had on a kid from the marlins who's currently on a rehab stint and made it sound like he would only be in the minors for a few days before coming back to the big club. I'd imagine Eloy would probably need a couple weeks?
  8. Cash does a lot of stupid shit, it's talked about a lot on reddit
  9. 18 games over .500, when was the last time the Sox had a record like that?
  10. a .186 hitter is gonna give them the lead isn't he
  11. I'll trade a series loss for Marshall's pink slip after the game, if that's what it takes. fucking horrible player.
  12. nah dude, they're actually good, ignore the awful ERA, and late blown leads
  13. might've been the best pitching performance of Keuchels Sox career that I can remember, given who we were playing and how deep into the game he pitched
