hes never been an above average hitter. hes been above average at getting on base. there's a difference -

Well, figuring McCann has been the better offensive player, and better for the pitchers. So far Grandal hasn't been as valuable. Unless statistics are merely an annoyance to you and not actually revealing or important -

it isnt a false choice when you have a limited number of players you can have on your roster lol is that clearer? -

Using Dyson off the bench IS valuable. Having McCann and Grandal both in the lineup with another backup C on the bench is MORE valuable Hope that cleared things up -
trever bauer indeed does know a shitload of information about pitching. unfortunately there wasnt much room left for knowing how to be a tolerable human being
-
Fangraphs has the Sox at 91.6% chance of winning the division, if the twins lose tonight i would imagine that number shoots up to at least 95%
-
That's up to the guy who makes the lineup. Its almost like he doesn't give a fuck if guys aren't hitting

Dylan Cease cannot be our #3 in the playoffs

that isnt how i interpreted that tweet. the broad discussion is: are all of these recent climate catastrophes because of man burning fossil fuels. It isnt "Can man control the weather". So, with that being said, I interpreted his tweet to mean: No, the changing climate is NOT because of human influence I mean, when you have companies who make money on the extraction of fossil fuels admitting that the climate is changing because we are burning this shit like crazy, that's a pretty good indicator that the science is legit https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2015/jul/08/exxon-climate-change-1981-climate-denier-funding

Not gonna get a fair return on Kopech until he proves hes healthy, this would be the worst time to trade him, unless some team is dumb enough to give you a whale without doing their due diligence, but no gm in the league is gonna do that imo probably the best time to trade Cease though, I dont think hes gonna be much better than a #4

Jace Frye doing Jace Frye things
-
hes so bad in RF. that homerun he hit might be the worst thing about tonight's game
-
damn is AJ on muscle relaxers or something
