  1. They aren't even sure Dunning is physically ready to pitch half of a season yet. I'm not saying he is or isn't, but he wasn't called up because they thought he was ready. IMO he will possibly get the call next year if they dont sign a FA and Lopez cant figure it out, but they'll probably wait till at least July Edit: Forgot about Rodon. yeah unless we trade away one of Lopez/Rodon I dont see Dunning getting many if any starts next year
  2. I feel the need to post this everywhere. They need to cut EE and just play James every fucking day. EE has had almost a whole damn month to prove he isn't wasting a roster spot Meanwhile we have a guy killing the baseball just WASTING ON THE BENCH
  3. They should release EE and just play McCann and Grandal every day.
  4. Well we can start a new win streak on Sunday.
  5. That's why you extend James to a multi year deal which allows you to trade him for something of value. Letting him walk would be such a Sox/Rick Hahn brainless move.
  6. downside of a platoon. you're taking up an extra roster slot. once it gets to the post season and a decision has to be made, Sorry Nomar.
  7. 91.8% 4.4% to win it all (Dodgers #1 at 15.2%) https://www.fangraphs.com/standings/playoff-odds/fg/wc
  8. Wondering what you guys thought about this. If you have a jersey that you love but that player plays for another team now, do you retire the jersey forever and start wearing it again when said player is out of baseball? Still wear it normally? I have a really nice Sale ASG BP jersey (KC 2012 All Star Game, baby blue with matching hat) that has been hanging on my wall for years because it feels weird wearing it now. Should I cut it up?
  9. been saying this for a little while, Vaughn wont play a single game for the sox, bookmark this
  10. Cooper is fucking horrible. Him and Renteria need to be sent off, its time.
  11. this was very direct though lol
  12. shockingly those numbers look very .500 team-ish
  13. eh, it isn't the talent, it's the lack of preparation and focus. these guys simply aren't ready day in and day out. Castellanos would be fitting right in
  14. yeah they really need to make some coaching staff changes, I dont expect this team to contend no matter what players take the field until that happens. total failure, what a disappointment
  15. he looks like he lost 15 pounds as well
  16. Thoughts? Injuries? Mental approach? I find it fascinating how much worse he's been (granted he's had a few minor injuries) since we traded him Would like to hear others thoughts on this, because initially I thought that trade was pretty even which I'm sure puts me in a minority, but he's been very average/subpar since being dealt
