Using Peavy's most recent injury history to come to the conclusion that he's injury prone is funny to me
None of his injuries that he's had over the course of his pitching career have been linked to each other.
Ankle, Latissimus Dorsi.
I guess by your reasoning, if he strains his neck by sleeping wrong, just chalk it up to being injury prone.

Maddon playing the numbers by bringing a lefty in. I bet Ozzie's sitting in the dugout laughing his ass off at such unconventional managing.
LOL.

Thats stretching it a bit, that's pure skill.
lol
he was already mid-air with arm extended and the ball was still dropping, if his arm was 2 inches shorter that ball drops
Thoughts on Humber:
His stuff is above average, in fact all 3 of his pitches (Curve, Change, FB) are all above average as long as he's hitting 92-93 w/ the FB which he has been
He gets really rattled when runners are on first base, just like Floyd
I don't think they'll even entertain putting Sale back in the closer role because of their long term plans of using him as a starter as early as next year after Buehrle walks. The Sox wanted to have their closer situation RESOLVED in 2011 so they could go forward as planned with Sale's development. Thornton sucking as closer really hurts this team.
And stop saying Santos as closer. Dude doesn't have enough command of his pitches. He has one good outing, followed by one bad outing.
