those called 3rd strikes to Benintendi and Colas, doubt you can find 20% of all umpires who call those a strike, more of the ball was out of the zone than inside it
you don't see many free swinging GOOD players anymore in the MLB. TA is the exception, seems like it's being exploited more the last two years than I've ever seen
all of our "core" hitters are high OSwing% guys, all of them
game is over btw
the whole lineup minus probably Benintendi is gonna be trying to crush every pitch the rest of the game and TB will be all over that s%*#, expect another 12+ K game for the Sox
Something that I haven't heard anyone talk about re:Hahn
We need to start discussing how Hahn's inability to run this team has affected our odds at landing free agents. It's entirely plausible that players don't wanna play here, to the point that they're taking less money and going elsewhere.
Sox hitters are so 1 dimensional when they swing at breaking balls that they recognize. they almost always try to just load up and crush it instead of trying to put bat on ball for an easy base hit
I'd say this is why Robert is so easy to strike out right now but I dont think he recognizes the slider right now AT ALL
yeah. if this is what's wrong with him, Hahn should be fired immediately for that extension. can't really blame Yoan at all for being soft if he's got a serious injury.
Anderson, Jimenez, Robert, and Moncada, the centerpieces of the rebuild in the daily lineup, have all played in the same game together just 34 times over the White Sox's last 347 games, since the start of the 2021 season.
same. not a fan of Benetti+Stone
Hawk had his issues and there were many, but I enjoyed his passion a lot. It felt like we had a 2nd coach on the broadcast that would argue with the umps when they'd blow a call
