  1. I put juice but I also usually go for Gatorade or water.
  2. Besides the Sox, who would be your second favorite MLB team? I'm gonna have to go with the Angels for a lot of reasons. I saw agame there and it was amazing. Great players, great ownership, great franchise. I know a lot of my freinds are both Sox and Cubs fans which pisses me off.
  3. Ah, yes, no ESPN magazine today, darn. Ray Charles was a good musician.

    Osama and Hussein

While it may be a little hard to swallow, cwsox is giving his opinion on what he belives is best for America and its citizens, including yourself. Even though you may not agree with what he thinks about politics, you should atleast respect the fact that he wants what is best for you and every other American. The opposite of love is not hate. It is indifference. Jesus Walks
  5. I misunderstood the question and voted for playoff spot, because that is wat I think is most important to Kenny, not the fans, as far as fans, I would say world series..
  6. Just a note: My PS2 is broke and most likely I will not be able to continue on with this league. By the way, I'm not sure if the league was dead or what. I was much more of a march madness guy anyway.

CW, With your vast amount of political knowlege, could you try to explain to me why, that as I learn and observe more about politics, I hate Republicans more and more?

oh. Reagan. I am teh smart
  10. And to think people wanted to get rid of Lee.
  11. I really want to cheer for Maggs, but if he is being a whiny b**** with his contract, then he can go f*** himself for all I care. He is such an amazing player, and if he sells out for 10 or 20% more money, which he already has a ton of already, then I will lose all respect for him.

    Ron Reagan

I heard from a source that when Ronald Reagan was in office, he TRIPLED the national debt.. Maybe one of the Soxtalk political analysists could verify this for me?
  14. Maybe... If they can't find a day to make it up and it doesn't affect the standings at the end of the season, then it might not be made up. I belive that was the case with another game last year or a couple years back.
  15. While we're at it, let's get used to our offense without Magglio. Let's get used to playing Rowand, Timo, Gload. Or even Reed or Borchard, from the Elitle minor league system that turned out such highly regarded prospects such at the .210 hitter, Joe Crede.
  16. Hah, who knows, maybe someone will pull a Phil Neikro, Ricky Henderson, Or Jesse Orosco

    Finding a Mate

Is this the Mally you're talking about? http://www.soxtalk.com/index.php?showtopic=8924
  18. In all seriousness, if Maggs left, it would make a huge blow in my personal fan support of this team. Being only 15, in my era of being a HUGE sox fan (not just casual, about since 2000), I have not seen any huge superstars leave the team. I build such a strong connection to players, and if Maggs or even Frank left, I'd feel such a hole in the team, and I would be very depressed. This may be something I have to get used to, though. I hate it especially when we lose a player for nothing in Free Agency..

    Finding a Mate

Yes, there are some nice girls at our school. Me? Pimp? nah, i wish.. I don't know about Aguirre. Interesting.. and O'Neill has some fine chicks
  20. Darko is the youngest player in the history of the NBA, as he is STILL 18. So, technically, this is like his senior year of HIGH SCHOOL. Also, you have to realize that being younger than Lebron, Kobe, Tmac, etc. when they made they jump to the L, and being on a championship team, he's not going to get any PT, as opposed to the typical high schooler who plays for a s*** team. Believe me, Darko's got the skills. He will need a few years to apply those skills and learn to get physical; having Big Benm to teach him some things is only going to help. He's been getting a lot stronger since the beginning of the season. He's developing his High School, 19 year old body into an NBA body, which is damn tough. Detroit is in the perfect position with Darko, because they have a championship team right now, and Tayshaun fits into their system better than Carmelo would. Keep an eye on Darko, he will be amazing down the line.
