  1. But the thing is, it still is a business, and IMO, they should have cut him. Bulls need all the help they can get now and paying the kid money he really doesn't deserve doesn't help their cause. But, I do want to see him come back and do well. Maybe Bobcats bound??
  2. Hopefully one day my intelligence will get me a large sum of money, then I can afford season tickets and whatnot. Just seeing this years increase was a terrible disappointment to me. I mean by the time I have a career and earn a decent living, I would not be surprised to see lower box seats at 60 bucks a pop. I think all of the older sox fans who were able to see games for rediculously low prices (I remember my dad talking about going to games for a few dollars) should feel very lucky, because those days are long gone, and for my generation, season tickets will only be for the rich. By the way, park on a side street.
  3. MESA, Ariz. -- Chicago Cubs pitcher Mark Prior will be sidelined at least five days because of an inflamed right Achilles tendon. Prior, 23, suffered the injury in Spring Training camp. Cubs general manager Jim Hendry said Monday that Prior could be sidelined from five to 10 days. He has undergone an MRI and there is no tear, Hendry said. "He was in great shape when he got here," Hendry said. "We've just got to make sure he's 100 percent." Prior, 18-6 with a 2.43 ERA last season, is entering his third big league season. http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/news/mlb...4news&fext=.jsp Well, I can't say I'm disappointed

    Mel Gibson

All I will say is that it is a good movie.
  7. Actually, that was the original email that I just copied and pasted. Oh well.
  8. Not to be an ass, but playing devil's advocate, how ell did it work for him not wearing one last year. Maybe it would work better if he didn't care what pitchers think of him. On the other hand, maybe it really does work better for him to be without one. Just saying.
  9. YES! I heard he was playing in the italian league, where no physical contact allowed. Every game he is fouled out in 10 minutes.
  10. hi, andrew! thanks for the supportive email! i'd been unhappy with score management for a while, but the final straw was not being allowed to talk sox last week. that just forced me to stand up for what i thought was right, and while it's tough to leave the listeners, it's not tough to leave my bosses, believe me. i'll try to check out the sox message board sometime. thanks for the tip, and for your email. take care~ julie
  11. That's pretty cool. I'm hoping to buy an original T shirt once I can save up some money.
  12. WGN Radio is 1000x worse. s*** on that station makes me sick. And I think the reason the s***heads are so popular is becasue of wgn radio.
  13. The Critic is great. Sometimes I catch it late on sunday nights on comedy central.
  14. I declare myself the commisioner of league 2 for the duration odf the cheat's absence. me
  15. Aw man, Julie was awsome in the late night spot. Definetly a true Sox fan. Like people were sayin, if Laurnece Holmes gets the spot, it could be a blessing in disguise. But i hope Julie stays around somewhere, her cub hating was the best in all of Chicago sports radio IMO.
  16. Best part about control pitchers is their longevity. Not saying Takatsu will be on this team over 5 years, but the possibility exists. I remember this guy Phil Neikro, he pitched almost 30 years I think. Knuckleballer, unlike takatsu, but it shows you how much longer they can last.

    MVP 2004

The minor leagues sold me march 9th I think, we sould have a Soxtalk online league or something.
  18. Hmm, I hought u went to U of I, must have been someone else. As for kidd I was referring to him playing center in the nba, at his level of competition. Livingston has height, and he was one of the taller players on the court, but hes a point guard, and hes definetly not built to be a center.
  19. Alright, whatever, put jason kidd or another great one guard at center and see what happens. If he was going to illinois you would be all for him, but their coach wanted out and they can't keep players who verbally committed. Illinois was never in the race because Arizona and Duke are just that much better.
