It’s not giving up acknowledging the team has serious fatal flaws as currently constructed, it’s fact. These 5 games against the Royals are going to be huge, it’s a golden opportunity to get some momentum going after the poor showing against the Yankees who we unfortunately are about to see again.

This team is not a contender, even if they still end up winning this horseshit division. They didn’t address any of our needs in the off-season, most of the problem right there.

2 outs bases loaded, that's just getting too cute to me. Any base gets you out of the inning, and we literally play defense in a way that a routine ground ball in the infield costs us two runs. Unbelievable.

I don't want to defend LaRussa, however, he has to be thinking about Keuchel and Velasquez getting shelled and needing arms for those starts. He obviously cant come out and say that so MAYBE that's part of the thinking here. You would hope so at least, but I wouldn't put it past him.

I still don't understand why Leury is fielding the Judge ground ball on the short stop side of the field. There was 2 outs and bases loaded, just play normal defense and get the fucking out. That should have been a routine ground ball to Timmy, but for some reason he was over by third base.

How is that Tim’s fault? No one continues to run hard after you’ve been tagged, he didn’t and couldn’t know that was dropped. He just should have never run in the first place.
