  1. Huh....? .842 OPS in A+ , what exactly would you be concerned about?
  2. I thought we could win 1-2 games on this trip now I’m wondering if we can score more than 1-2 runs on this trip
  3. I still gotta go to two more of these shit shows, suffering ain’t over yet
  4. Just left the game and missed the homer, these guys ssssssuck
  5. What are you talking about, this has been awful so far outside of Kofis win its 930 and there’s still like 5 more matches to go
  6. This wrestlemania is gonna be crap cant remember another time where it felt like just cramming everyone on the card in some way
  7. I would bet that the 7/$175 report was the offer we had on the table for the majority of this debacle. If we came right out with a 8/$250 and 2 options that could bring it to $320 I don't think it drags on for as long as it did, I think he would have signed after it was clear no one else was getting involved. I think no one else valued Machado in this upper range, just couldn't afford to add a huge contract, or didn't have the need for the player. The Phillies wanted to spend "stupid" money and even they balked at $300 million for Machado.
  8. I don't understand the overreaction by people around here.. Im a fan of the name on the front of the jersey.. don't jump off a cliff because we couldn't sign someone we never had anyways. Were in the same spot we were already in, and even if we did sign him, were still BAD anyways..
  9. Im glad you're leaving Serves you right for being a douche back in December when I told you this organization didn't have the balls to sign anyone to this kind of contract
  10. Of course he was, the White Sox thought they were smarter than the room here. We got his brother, we got his buddy, we offered $250 million disguised as $320 million.. we got this! Oh, oops
  11. Its actually not a solid offer at all in comparison.. who would risk $50 million on how their body holds up when they reach 35/36 years old? Heres two offers, one is worth $300 million no matter what. The other is worth $250 million but could be $320 million in 9-10 years provided you age well. Which one are you taking, every time. Pretty easy to me.
  12. Are you in denial? The White Sox have already come out and said they couldn't do $300 Its over, done, finished.. $68 million is still the reigning, defending, highest Sox signing in history..
  13. How good or bad the team currently is really has no bearing on how much it sells for to be honest with you.
  14. The Jay and Alonso acquisitions should tell everyone all they need to know about the clowns running this show. A professional organization doesn't acquire family members/friends in hopes they can get a sweetheart deal from a free agent.
  15. We were never getting this guy, said it from the beginning. Why? Because this organization is cheap as hell and will never win a bidding war because of that cheapness. Stop being naive, there was no outcome that ever ended with the White Sox signing either of these guys. They don't have what it takes to get it done. I think that was proven by how long it drug out. The Sox couldn't meet the demands so it drug on until someone finally did.
  16. Ricochet was the most exciting thing I’ve watched on raw in what feels like forever
  17. Fulmer is no good, Bummer is meh, and Laz Rivera is a 24 year old that hasn't played above A ball. For a 2 War player with 2 years of control? I would be pleasantly shocked if this happens.
  18. Im just struggling to believe the Dodgers would trade Joc Pederson for the handful of scrubs that have been reported. Practically giving him away.
  19. No offense taken, you're a nobody on a message board. Until they sign someone to a contract larger than $68 million, I am firmly in the "Well, we tried guys" camp when this is all said and done. Having interest and actually putting pen to paper is two very different things. Until it happens, I am on the skeptical side.
  20. Quit fixating on Machado It was an add on to my original point, we weren't signing someone to that large of a contract anyways so why are people acting like this trade is what killed it..
  21. Not negative at all, factual actually.. history tells you this as I presented in my original post
