QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 10, 2015 -> 02:47 PM) I was talking about the playoffs in general. There's almost no doubt the Cavs wouldn't be winning this series had Steph Curry remembered how to shoot for 7 of the last 8 quarters he's played. And while LeBron scoring 40 points a game is great, you have to realize he's doing this on 44% usage, .402 FG%, and a .494 TS%. He's scoring on volume. Even when he's dishing out 8 assists per game, his ORtg for the series is 106. Yeah, his supporting cast is bad right now, but I don't think you can call this the greatest NBA Finals performance of all time like some people are. Compare LeBron's playoff numbers this year to his playoff numbers in previous years. Not the counting numbers, but the efficiency numbers. They've been subpar this year in comparison. I think the big difference here is in years past LeBron wasn't taking over like he has to do this series. This is definitely a different play style from what you saw in Miami and it's because he has no one (healthy) around him right now. I don't think it really matters how efficient he is right now as long as he keeps putting up 40 and dictating the pace of the game. The Warriors look clueless out there, maybe it's just inexperience or maybe Curry is just not the same from the fall.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 10, 2015 -> 10:47 AM) LeBron's offensive efficiency this post-season's been pretty mediocre. Yeah he's putting up like 30 points a game, but his TS% is under .500. I guess a lot of that is him not having healthy Kyrie or Love. Or maybe that Miami team was just that good. If the Warriors could muster up any kind of offense the past two games, they'd be up 3-0 in this series. The Cavs offense has been nothing special. Dude, just stop it with your anti LeBron agenda.. Hes actually averaging 41 points per game, and hes pretty much a one man wrecking crew beating the best team from the superior West conference by himself. The Cavs offense is nothing special because its LeBron James surrounded by a bunch of nobodies and they are handling the Warriors.

Just a heads up, but I just saw Rocks mom in the front row. Gonna assume that's not good news for lesnar winning. -
QUOTE (bmags @ Mar 9, 2015 -> 10:06 AM) Certainly looks that way. But this is a good draft for them to start loading up on defense again and to finally find some WR depth. It is crazy the NFL disparity. Obviously with 52 players, there is going to be some less impact in total salaries. But it is insane considering the billions in that league how basically the top players (QBs) are talking 60 million contracts (when guarantees are factored in only), and that was basically Melky Cabrera, somewhat sought after LF. A couple things to consider is the NFL has a hard salary cap, and also most of these guys are only playing 16 games as opposed to 162 or 82.

QUOTE (shipps @ Mar 9, 2015 -> 10:26 AM) Some previous Redskins exec/scout was on the radio this morning claiming that McPhee is a great pass rusher but has no ability to play the run at all. I have seen very little of him. Does anyone know how true this is? Its true, hes not really an every down player. Hes a pass rush specialist, still pretty useful and its not like they unloaded the truck for him.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Feb 5, 2015 -> 02:37 PM) The remake of Poltergeist has a trailer. http://screenrant.com/poltergeist-trailer-...ke-2015-poster/ Doesn't look like much changed, too bad the creepy little lady isn't around anymore I just read on screen rant a few weeks back that Sam Rockwell said this was more of a kids movie and adventure story than a scary movie. I am glad the trailer didn't seem like that was the case.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 3, 2015 -> 01:10 PM) I stopped playing because I am stuck with nothing to do, only one "mission" an its to kill these aliens and I am sick of trying it. That's the worst part of GTA in my experience. I have one mission for Franklin currently where I am supposed to win a street race, but I keep finishing last or near last. I tried it a handful of times and finally it just turned me off from wanting to play anymore. There are a few frustrating missions like that, it quickly makes me go from excited to playing to not wanting to touch the game for a few weeks.

QUOTE (Brian @ Dec 13, 2014 -> 01:36 PM) This, this this. They'll be jobbing on the main roster. God forbid , Vince dies, and than things will get more wrestling oriented. I want to believe Vince ties HHH's hands since nxt is hunters baby. The Austin podcast showed me enough that it is Vince who is causing the problems here. He is clueless.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Dec 1, 2014 -> 01:37 PM) Looks like I'm going to finish 5th in my 12 team league(4 teams make the playoffs) with the 3rd most points and 5th in my main league because we decided to split into 2 divisions this year and the other division is god awful. I hate you fantasy football. Divisions are the worst. We had a team get the 2 seed and a bye last year at 6-7. We scrapped divisions this year and its much better -

QUOTE (TRU @ Aug 24, 2014 -> 06:25 PM) This was my 12 team PPR mock from the other night, I was going with the zero RB strategy but had to change it a little bit due to a player falling to me I didnt expect to be available.. QB: Tony Romo RB: Montee Ball RB: Rashad Jennings WR: Demaryius Thomas WR: Dez Bryant TE: Kyle Rudolph Flex: Randall Cobb K: Mason Crosby Def: Pittsburgh BN: Josh Gordon BN: Robert Griffin III BN: Danny Woodhead BN: Jeremy Hill BN: Devonta Freeman Well know before the season whether or not Gordon will be playing this year, so thats an easy drop and replace if hes out for the year. I like Pittsburgh matchup hosting Cleveland week 1 and will be streaming defenses. Montee Ball slipped to the end of round 3 and I had to take him. He has a chance to be a top 5-7 back. So I think I am sold on going WR-WR from now on in my fantasy drafts. Above was the team I started with, and here is what I was able to do with that team. QB: Drew Brees RB: CJ Anderson RB: Rashad Jennings WR: Demaryius Thomas WR: Dez Bryant TE: Kyle Rudolph Flex: Josh Gordon K: Justin Tucker Def: Miami BN: Dennard Robinson BN: Latavius Murray BN: Jordan Mathews BN: Michael Rivera BN: Dwayne Allen I was able to trade Randall Cobb for Drew Brees since I had Josh Gordon on the bench making his return. I have 3 elite WRs and two pretty damn good RBs, and solid RB depth on my bench pretty much all done through the waiver wire. I am going to finish the regular season at 8-5, the #2 seed with a first round bye, and the most points scored in the league. My only concern is how CJ Anderson is going to be used in 2 weeks when its likely Hillman and Ball are back. If he loses that feature role, I might be in trouble. -

QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Nov 25, 2014 -> 01:46 PM) Everytime black people get screwed like they did yesterday and do the stuff they did, they get called animals for acting entirely human, animals don't loot and riot, doesn't make sense to me to call them animals. Why not call them idiots, morons, dumbasses? Animals? Really? It has nothing to do with looting and rioting, I think we are all aware animals don't come into town in a group and attack the corner store. Its the careless behavior and unruly nature of their actions. Its not limited to looting and rioting, it could also just be my kid and his 3 cousins destroying my house over thanksgiving.
