QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Oct 10, 2013 -> 12:17 AM) Assuming this is a 2 qb league but I dont see why anyone would trade a premiere receiver for Bowe and Pryor. It is a 2 QB league and it is also 6 points per TD pass. Im not asking for Calvin Johnson or Dez Bryant, but I think with our league settings and it being a 2 for 1 deal its more than fair. Hes the 19th overall scoring QB and thats with missing one game. -

So going into week 6 I sit at 3-2 in my main league. I have the third most points scored, and the most points scored against. Here is what my roster currently looks like with one trade and waiver pick ups. QB 1 - Peyton Manning QB 2 - Andrew Luck Bench - Terrelle Pryor RB 1 - Matt Forte RB 2 - Steven Jackson Bench - LeVeon Bell Bench - Giovanni Bernard WR 1 - Eric Decker WR 2 - Antonio Brown Flex 1 - Josh Gordon Bench - Dwayne Bowe Bench - TY Hilton TE 1 - Rob Gronkowski Kicker 1 - Streaming Defense 1 - Streaming I traded Reggie Bush and Hakeem Nicks for Steven Jackson and Antonio Brown. I am trying to trade Terrelle Pryor and Dwayne Bowe in a 2 for 1 kind of deal to get another WR 1 type. Do you think it would be wise to offer up Pryor and Josh Gordon? I like Gordon, but I would play Decker, Brown, and the WR I acquire over Gordon every week so I may not even need him. Opinions? I have offered Dwayne Bowe and Terrelle Pryor for Victor Cruz, and then the same offer for Roddy White to another team. They either didnt like the offer or never looked at it because its been a few days and no one has said anything. This is a 6 point per TD pass league too so a good QB is very valuable. -

Ide play Nicks. The trend seems to be complain about not getting the ball and you get it a lot the next week. Wallace did it, Brown did it, now its Nicks turn. -

QUOTE (chw42 @ Sep 26, 2013 -> 06:18 PM) A guy in my league is somehow 2-1 despite drafting Michael Turner. He also has Matt Ryan and Aaron Rodgers. Due to Kaepernick's struggles, I've offered him Fred Jackson and Greg Jennings (I wanted to give him Royal, but he said he'd rather have Jennings) for Ryan. He's really in no position to bargain with me considering Rodgers' bye is this week and Ryan will be more or less useless to him afterwards. Do you guys think a trade like this will go through? It shouldn't, that's terrible for the guy giving up Ryan..Jennings is a ghost and Fred Jackson is in a time share at best.. -

QUOTE (bmags @ Sep 25, 2013 -> 11:53 AM) I have bad WRs so I need to take some flyers. Dwayne Bowe, man, I drafted him just before someone wrote that great post about how Alex Smith's checkdowns would make him worthless. They were right f'ing on. That was ME. Alex Smith takes no risks and doesn't throw the ball down the field. -
QUOTE (knightni @ Sep 19, 2013 -> 07:49 PM) It's very odd to get rid of a guy after only two games, though. Something must have happened. Yeah, they suck and decided to clean house. Richardson is perfect for the Colts offense, Cleveland gets a second 1st round pick to go for a QB.. I thought it was a great trade for both teams

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 16, 2013 -> 08:51 AM) Great episodes for both Dexter and Breaking Bad. I'm still trying to wrap my head around how both end. Id hardly call any recent episode of Dexter great.. this season is awful and with one episode left, there's little chance they can wow me..

I heard some rumors that they arent announcing GTA for the next gen consoles because it could hurt sales with people not buying it now and just waiting two months. I really hope it comes over to next gen because I really want to play it.
-
Traded in my 360 and Black Ops 2 today for a cool $155. Pre ordered and paid off both Call of Duty Ghosts and Watch Dogs, threw the extra cash on an extra PS4 controller. Now I play the waiting game. Only 2 months, shouldn't be too bad I have football to hold me over. Although it is depressing that ill never get to play GTA V or Batman Origins. I definitely wanted Ghosts, but I didn't know what else to get so I just bought Watch Dogs. Its not that interesting to me but I don't know what else to get, I can always change it later.

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Sep 8, 2013 -> 05:55 PM) My opponent started Vreen, and he scored him 15 pts. s***. Luckily for me, Reggie Wayne had a nice game, Aaron Rodgers is doing work for me, and I still have Witten and Murray left to play tonight, down by 19 right now. After the year he had last season, I am going to be quite depressed if Ridley is phased out of the offense. -

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Sep 8, 2013 -> 03:10 PM) Well, I guess I should trade Stevan Ridley asap now. Fumbles, gets benched, and then Vreen goes 100+ yards. Glad my 2nd RD pick has just become fodder......s***. Tell me about it, luckily I also drafted Vereen so I will still be fine.. Im hoping this isnt the end of Ridley -

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Sep 7, 2013 -> 03:25 PM) We do not get PPR, but we do get points for a KO and PR TD. Non PPR ide say Bradshaw (If hes playing), Tate, Austin I don't look too much into Bradshaw not playing in the preseason because that could have just been to keep him protected. Whats interesting to me is hes a 1 year rental so the Colts are just going to use the crap out of him because hes not in the long term plans. Oakland is going to be fighting with the Jets for worst team in the league, I love all defense plays against them and any high powered offense players against them. I think Bradshaw will play tomorrow, and I think hell do good. The worst part would be for him to play sparingly and the game to be over by halftime. Either way, I think Tate or Bradshaw is the best route to go. Tavon if you're into taking risks. -

QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Sep 7, 2013 -> 03:53 PM) I agree. Until proven otherwise I'm sticking with the thought that Chris Givens is the Rams WR you want to own right now I think Chris Givens is the Rams WR to own regardless -

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Sep 7, 2013 -> 02:01 PM) I am having the same debate. Should my flex be Tavon Austin, Ahmad Bradshaw, or Golden Tate. Right now I have Bradshaw in there. Ide rank it Bradshaw, Tate, Austin. But that all depends on is it PPR? Do you get return points? If tomorrow morning Bradshaw is going to play, I play him. If hes not going to play, ide prolly prefer Tate over Austin. -

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Sep 7, 2013 -> 11:46 AM) I'm saying Brandon Lloyd, said person of multpile 1000 yard years (even if didnt in St Louis), somehow managed 60/900/5 or whatever last year when Brady never really ever looked for him. Thompkins is an undrafted free agent. There's a bit of a learning curve. Counting on Thompkins this week is like buying a scratch lotto ticket. Vereen will get his catches. And he will get some yards. Probably not more than 7 points worth in non-PPR, but he'll get his Actually Brandon LLoyd only has one career 1,000 yard season. It doesn't matter if he was signed off the street, hes going to be a starter in a NE offense that is missing all their top receiving threats from a year ago. Hes going to be on the field, and hes going to have Tom Brady throwing him the ball. Counting on Thompkins this week is like buying a scratch off that already guarantees you some money, but with a chance for a bigger payout. I like Vereen and also think he will get his catches but I think Thompkins will have more opportunities to score points than Vereen. -

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Sep 7, 2013 -> 09:50 AM) None of this makes sense. I think when you said "this preseason," you lost all credibility. He is going to play the X. That is Brandon Lloyd's position. He went for like 60/911/5 or something, which is solid, but do you expect Thompkins to be able to handle NFL defenses - even the Bills - right from the start? Remember Stephen Williams? ... Anyways, the question I still wonder about...how are Vereen and Thompkins your FLEX choies? In week 1, This better be a 16 team league, otherwise...f***, you're screwed for the rest of the year unless Ridley gets hurt. Better start drinking your own piss. --- The reason I'd start Vick this week - and this week only - is because Cam is agianst arguably the best defense in the league and Vick is against a defense that still features Deangelo Hall as a starter. Sticking with my studs has cost me in the past. Thank you, I'm starting Vick.. Team records and scrubs don't matter for the preseason.. Targets and such DO Your opinion though, think whatever you want. -

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Sep 6, 2013 -> 08:03 PM) I'm going to Badger you...it depends. Vereen is a far safer bet (especially in PPR leagues), but Thompkins has big play and scoreability. Let your matchup dictate it. ... Am I crazy for thinking about starting Vick over Cam this week? Washington D versus Seattle D Nothing you said here makes sense. Thompkins is the safer bet, but Vereen has more big play and score ability. Thompkins led the Pats in catches and was 2nd in targets this preseason. He will also be starting in a position that produced 911 yards and 4 TDs last season, so he could see similar production with IMO fewer yards and more TDs. As far as Vick and Cam goes, you have to play Cam. You don't ever sit your fantasy studs because of match ups. -

QUOTE (chw42 @ Sep 3, 2013 -> 01:18 PM) Why would anyone not start a QB in the flex spot? Im in 3 leagues where there is QB allowed in Flex. Its amazing to me that people dont target 2 QBs early. I have Brees/Luck, Brees/RG3, and Manning/Luck in all 3 of those leagues. Its going to lead me to a lot of wins.
