QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Dec 10, 2012 -> 05:43 PM) Jake Peavy, Chris Sale, John Danks, Gavin Floyd, Jose Quintana, Hector Santiago, Simon Castro, Dylan Axelrod, Andre Rienzo, Nestor Molina (if you really want to stretch). There is SP depth. It's not all good, but there is depth. If its not good, its not depth.

QUOTE (soxfan49 @ Dec 8, 2012 -> 12:47 PM) Don't forget Luck. Lucks numbers aren't anywhere near good enough to win an MVP award. Hes 29th in the league in rating currently and only has one more TD than INT on the season..

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 3, 2012 -> 03:22 PM) Wonder how the knuckler would play in Texas Then you should prolly see how he did when he was there for 5 years to start his career

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Dec 1, 2012 -> 08:31 PM) Don't change the argument to scheduling. It was about "no reason not to play" It was "no reason not to play TOMORROW".. which is now pointless since the Chiefs announced they will play their game tomorrow as scheduled. Yeah, I dont care about it. Im not the one who was making jokes of it.

QUOTE (knightni @ Dec 1, 2012 -> 08:23 PM) Wait. What? I thought he killed himself, looked it up and was wrong. Either way, I got the guy right.

QUOTE (zenryan @ Dec 1, 2012 -> 08:14 PM) I really hope KC plays inspired football and Cam has a terrible game. I guess its cool to play Mr Hard-ass No Emotions Guy. I have emotions, they just don't get spent on people that I don't know.

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Dec 1, 2012 -> 08:13 PM) Not sure were in position to make that call. Some people may struggle after losing a teammate or worse yet trying to coach a day after watching someone kill themself. Again its not about him. Its about what's best to help the people coping. Whatever that is. Remember the cubs cards game years ago? The people having problems with that should have the choice of participating in the game tomorrow or not. And yeah, when they cancelled their game because Daryl Kyle killed himself? Baseball is a little different than football, you cant just play a double header next Sunday. This is a pointless argument anyway as even if they didn't play tomorrow it would prolly be Monday anyways and this argument would be completely pointless.

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Dec 1, 2012 -> 08:05 PM) Still clueless. Its not about him. Its about everyone else dealing with it. Go fantasy team! Guess what, life goes on. The world doesn't stop because of a careless act of one individual. You think they want to sit around and think about it, or do something they love to take their mind off of it?

Clueless. Keep making it about you. Im not clueless, I just don't care about it. I don't know those people. If you want to waste time in your life to concern over it that's your own choice. Stop trying to act all high and mighty towards those who don't.

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Dec 1, 2012 -> 05:27 PM) Most important thing is your fantasy team. No reason? Wow. Oh STFU, excuse me for not caring about a murderer who killed himself.

QUOTE (Brian @ Dec 1, 2012 -> 04:06 PM) What would it matter if they played Mon or Tues? That would be fine I would guess. Although I see no reason for the game not to be played tomorrow.

They better play tomorrow, I got Cam Newton going and I need a big week to clinch the playoffs in fantasy

QUOTE (chw42 @ Nov 16, 2012 -> 10:24 PM) Played about 30 min of single player today for Black Ops II: meh. Thats because its not about single player

Headley will be 29 next season and is going to cash in within the next few years, what makes anyone think San Diego is going to hang on to him? Hes exactly the type of player they inevitably trade for an underwhelming package..

How much are you willing to offer Josh Hamilton?
T R U replied to South Paw's topic in Pale Hose Talk
No thanks. Hes got personal issues, and he would cost way too much. Way too risky. -
QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Nov 10, 2012 -> 12:01 AM) Yeah, "LOL no" as in there are no untouchable players except Mike Trout and maybe Bryce Harper. Im pretty sure I just saw you get on other posters because they were talking about Headley and you said he was "untouchable". QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Nov 10, 2012 -> 02:59 PM) Guys, Headley is untouchable. Stop intentionally sabotaging this thread by mentioning untouchable players. Yep

QUOTE (iamshack @ Nov 4, 2012 -> 09:48 PM) Start posting them...80%, even for 9 weeks, is insane. You're picking 2 games a week? Im picking EVERY game each week. Straight up winners. I still have Dallas and New Orleans to go this week, and the only game I missed was picking Washington. If my picks hold, this will be the third week this season I only picked one game wrong. Ive made about $350 so far.

So last night in a hotel at 1 am I was flipping through the channels and came to HBO, and Hall Pass had just started.. I saw previews for it months ago when it was coming out and thought it looked terrible, but it was actually pretty funny.

Official 2012-2013 NCAA Football Thread
T R U replied to knightni's topic in A and J's Olde Tyme Sports Pub
Notre Dame would get blown off the field by Oregon or Bama. And I don't think its even debatable. They are beating garbage programs by 3 points, at home. Im not even sure they would give K-State a game. I don't think this is going to matter anyway, because they will lose to USC and we can forget about them being in the title game. -
I just need Dallas to win so I can lock up two more pick ems this week. I am picking NFL games at 80% so far through week 9, so that's pretty awesome.

I was watchin on the computer and that ref looked like Eric Bischoff

Chael is my favorite, so I am pumped for this one

I need the Bears to win tonight. I have $130 riding on it.
