  1. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Apr 8, 2011 -> 10:35 PM) Yes but the game should have been over by than, would have been quite the easy inning if Alexei and Juan make plays that they usually can make with their eyes closed. When you make the guy throw a bunch of extra pitches because you make 2 errors behind him, sometimes that s*** is going to happen. And unfortunately the game wasn't over by then, and Matt still couldn't get the job done.. We cant afford to let this happen 3-4 more times this month before we realize, yikes, this isn't working!
  2. QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 8, 2011 -> 10:32 PM) He gave up 4. Two of them were after the errors. He had a 95 MPH fastball today. All of you just need to relax for crying out loud. No I don't need to relax, hes been awful everytime hes come out so far this season.. he was perfect where he was, we have two hard throwers with pretty good stuff in Sale and Santos.. I don't see any reason why Sale shouldn't have been the closer so Matt could have stayed in the role that he was dominant in..
  3. QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 8, 2011 -> 10:26 PM) Did we seriously commit two errors with one out? I don't know how you can blame this on Thornton when that happens. lmao, he still gave up 5 hits anyways Yes, the errors were unfortunate.. but Thornton has been terrible as the closer thus far, there is no possible defense for that
  4. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Apr 8, 2011 -> 10:22 PM) I was calling for Sale too, but I can't even get mad about this one on Matt. He has looked like crap so far though I'll agree with, but it's still early on the season. I don't even think he's hit 96+ once yet either that I can recall. Nah I've seen him hit 97 a few times but my god, he's been awful..
  5. QUOTE (lostfan @ Apr 8, 2011 -> 10:14 PM) How is this game on Thornton? Yeah, he gave up a bomb, but after the 2 errors had sabotaged the game. Man let it go, he's been awful in the role so far.. Sale should have been the closer, there was no reason to mess with a good thing..
  6. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 8, 2011 -> 10:11 PM) You realize there have been two errors, right? You realize I dont give a s***? He hasn't looked good at all so far, not just this game
  7. I've seen about enough of Thornton in the closets role
  8. QUOTE (flippedoutpunk @ Apr 7, 2011 -> 11:27 AM) Yea for real, at least wait a couple years. haha man that was hilarious

    QUOTE (Kalapse @ Apr 7, 2011 -> 12:05 AM) I am shocked, SHOCKED by the early reviews on these 2 movies: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/your_highness/ http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/arthur_2011/ Well I just got back from Your Highness and it was funny, it wasn't as funny as I thought it would be but I did laugh a lot during it.. I don't see why someone else wouldn't think that its funny based on the comedy that's going on it it.. Arthur on the other hand, looks terrible.. but then again, I don't care for Russel Brand
  10. QUOTE (peanut33tillman @ Apr 5, 2011 -> 10:23 PM) Couldve been that, but I live in Texas and saw a good sample of his games with the Rangers last year, just kind of a scrappy hitter. drop the S off scrappy and ide agree with you
  11. Speaking of Mania 28, how would you guys feel if the card turned out something like Rock vs Cena Miz vs Austin Undertaker vs Goldberg/Lesnar I could see WWE trying to make Undertakers last hurrah something grand.. Say they entice Goldberg or Lesnar to come back for one more match with the premise that its the last time someone has a chance to take out the streak? Ide think a Goldberg/Lesnar opponent would be a huge draw.. And then of coarse with Rock/Cena already set, that's going to be big enough right there.. If you can get Austin to sign on too for one more go, man, that would be a gigantic draw.. what if they can convince Sting this time around to try his hand at doing something no one has been able to do before?
  12. QUOTE (kev211 @ Apr 4, 2011 -> 10:23 PM) Main Event has already been set for Wrestlemania 28 Im thinking that Vince was creeping on the Soxtalk boards and set this up to keep Brian and Critic around for another year.. thats just my guess
  13. QUOTE (IChaseBlackWood @ Mar 28, 2011 -> 11:17 AM) You're definitely going to be watching him in Birmingham ....hopefully he blows your freaking mind!! Hahahaha he blows alright
  14. QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 4, 2011 -> 03:25 PM) good stuff
  15. Oh, and Trips entrance last night was f***in awesome.. I got pumped up by it
  16. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Apr 3, 2011 -> 11:57 PM) Lets check in with the old team! Pedro! Willy! Dorn! Taylor! What the hell would the plot be? Vaughn finishing up his MLB career? Holy crap the insurance guy was Pedro?!?!?!
  17. QUOTE (kev211 @ Apr 4, 2011 -> 03:41 AM) I've been watching raw since the rock came back, and got wrestlemania tonight with my friends and enjoyed it. You all seem to be hating on it, but I have not watched wrestling in like 8 years so I have nothing to compare it too. I love the Miz. Im with you, I thought this was a good mania.. I was slightly disappointed with the ending to the Undertaker/HHH match but it was good to see HHH doing everything he possibly could and Undertaker just being unbeatable at mania.. Im sure next year will be his last.. I also love Miz too and am so glad he won To answer the question above, Rock cost Cena the match and pretty much guaranteed a Rock/Cena match in the future
  18. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 3, 2011 -> 10:22 PM) I would never have guessed in my craziest dreams that Snooki could have pulled off that move Me neither I was very pleased with this mania, but that could be because I didnt have much expectations going in
  19. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 2, 2011 -> 01:44 PM) see, i could understand not wanting to come to theWWE only to job to Taker in your first payperview which is also the biggest wrestling payperview in the business. But to not want to be inducted into the HOF, and cite that "they do business a certain way" as part of the reason why he didnt want to come just boggles my mind, especially after he has sat there and watched Hogan and Bischoff attempt to turn TNA into the Attitude era, and even moreso after the Hardy match. in my perfect world, Sting would be running in and interfering at Mania leading to a long program with undertaker that could go into summerslam. Sting must really despise Vince, because we all know Vince is throwing money at him. See man, I don't see it like that.. I don't consider Shawn Michaels jobbing to Undertaker.. those two matches were great.. there should be no shame in putting on a great match in front of about 11-12 TIMES the crowd that shows up to TNA shows.. and its on the grandest stage in professional wrestling.. AND he would have gotten a huge payday.. its something people have been dying to see for ages now.. It makes no sense to me why he would turn that down.. also, back to the previous point about not wanting to job at Wrestlemania, Mr. Wrestlemania himself HBK is 6-11 in Mania matches.. all you need to do is put on a show, that always lasts with people more than win/loss
  20. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 2, 2011 -> 03:57 PM) I know you're honoring your bet. But a small tear streams down my face every time I see that avy. haha, eh its not bothering me any.. its actually something ide prolly do on my own to make everyone else uncomfortable anyways
  21. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 2, 2011 -> 01:37 PM) Santana > Mauer offensively agreed
  22. QUOTE (jphat007 @ Apr 2, 2011 -> 01:13 PM) That one was off the end of the bat. Didnt look like.. also Konerko's in the 1st looked like it was hit a long way too and was about as routine as you can get..
  23. ok, how come ever ball hit the LF looks like its blasted, but it goes nowhere?
  24. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 2, 2011 -> 01:09 PM) Anybody's heart skip a beat on that flyball to CQ? Honestly I thought they were showing where the barrel of the bat went flying, then it was like WTF how is the ball way out there
