  1. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Apr 3, 2011 -> 11:57 PM) Lets check in with the old team! Pedro! Willy! Dorn! Taylor! What the hell would the plot be? Vaughn finishing up his MLB career? Holy crap the insurance guy was Pedro?!?!?!
  2. QUOTE (kev211 @ Apr 4, 2011 -> 03:41 AM) I've been watching raw since the rock came back, and got wrestlemania tonight with my friends and enjoyed it. You all seem to be hating on it, but I have not watched wrestling in like 8 years so I have nothing to compare it too. I love the Miz. Im with you, I thought this was a good mania.. I was slightly disappointed with the ending to the Undertaker/HHH match but it was good to see HHH doing everything he possibly could and Undertaker just being unbeatable at mania.. Im sure next year will be his last.. I also love Miz too and am so glad he won To answer the question above, Rock cost Cena the match and pretty much guaranteed a Rock/Cena match in the future
  3. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 3, 2011 -> 10:22 PM) I would never have guessed in my craziest dreams that Snooki could have pulled off that move Me neither I was very pleased with this mania, but that could be because I didnt have much expectations going in
  4. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 2, 2011 -> 01:44 PM) see, i could understand not wanting to come to theWWE only to job to Taker in your first payperview which is also the biggest wrestling payperview in the business. But to not want to be inducted into the HOF, and cite that "they do business a certain way" as part of the reason why he didnt want to come just boggles my mind, especially after he has sat there and watched Hogan and Bischoff attempt to turn TNA into the Attitude era, and even moreso after the Hardy match. in my perfect world, Sting would be running in and interfering at Mania leading to a long program with undertaker that could go into summerslam. Sting must really despise Vince, because we all know Vince is throwing money at him. See man, I don't see it like that.. I don't consider Shawn Michaels jobbing to Undertaker.. those two matches were great.. there should be no shame in putting on a great match in front of about 11-12 TIMES the crowd that shows up to TNA shows.. and its on the grandest stage in professional wrestling.. AND he would have gotten a huge payday.. its something people have been dying to see for ages now.. It makes no sense to me why he would turn that down.. also, back to the previous point about not wanting to job at Wrestlemania, Mr. Wrestlemania himself HBK is 6-11 in Mania matches.. all you need to do is put on a show, that always lasts with people more than win/loss
  5. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 2, 2011 -> 03:57 PM) I know you're honoring your bet. But a small tear streams down my face every time I see that avy. haha, eh its not bothering me any.. its actually something ide prolly do on my own to make everyone else uncomfortable anyways
  6. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 2, 2011 -> 01:37 PM) Santana > Mauer offensively agreed
  7. QUOTE (jphat007 @ Apr 2, 2011 -> 01:13 PM) That one was off the end of the bat. Didnt look like.. also Konerko's in the 1st looked like it was hit a long way too and was about as routine as you can get..
  8. ok, how come ever ball hit the LF looks like its blasted, but it goes nowhere?
  9. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 2, 2011 -> 01:09 PM) Anybody's heart skip a beat on that flyball to CQ? Honestly I thought they were showing where the barrel of the bat went flying, then it was like WTF how is the ball way out there
  10. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 2, 2011 -> 12:52 PM) he's 31 and not very good. Thank you.
  11. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 2, 2011 -> 12:49 PM) Didn't Brian Anderson have a big '06 debut then forget how to play baseball? Just sayin'. And I'm kidding. Sorta. haha yeah he did and the funny thing is I was thinking about that exact thing when thinkin about how Morel did yesterday
  12. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Apr 2, 2011 -> 12:34 PM) How was it a good call? Who was Carrasco fooling up to that point? He couldn't even buy an out, so why give him one for free? It was 1-0, you cant just assume that were gonna score 15 runs every game (even though its lookin like it now) but I don't see why there is a problem having your 9th man bunt guys to 3rd and 2nd, and eliminate the double play.. Like I said, I thought that was fine, hes just gotta execute
  13. that bunt was a good call, Morel has to execute there
  14. Edwin Jackson is gonna be our best pitcher when the year is done, thats my feeling
  15. Ide rather him just switch with Rios
  16. man, our offense looks like its gonna be nasty all year
  17. QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 2, 2011 -> 11:48 AM) I knoe, right. He says he thinks he made the right decision but that had gotta be BS. He acts like it is still the Attitude Era or something. Move on, have the match, go in the Hall of Fame, and retire respectfully. It's not like WWE will make him work full time for a year. I just don't get how dealing with TNAs mess could be more inciting than pretty much headlining Wrestlemania.. He could have had a pretty sweet gig right there
  18. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 2, 2011 -> 11:52 AM) It will be on at 1, this is a national WGN broadcast. Yeah I know, they already had a commercial saying it was coming on next.. its just unusual there is no pregame and its just gonna start right into the game..
  19. QUOTE (The Baconator @ Apr 2, 2011 -> 11:44 AM) What the crap is this, WGN? I see CSN has the cubs' pregame show so I flipped over to WGN for our pregame show... they have some cartoon playing. And in this cartoon they were fighting with card things- except the 'beast' summoned was a plant. Is this seriously what kids have to watch now? More importantly- where is my pregame show?! My WGN has some Chuck Norris crap on, the game better come on next
  20. Yeah instead Sting gets embarrassed by Jeff Hardy in front of a few thousand fans, good choice Sting..
  21. lolz.. it was 14-0 in the 4th inning in freezing Cleveland, you're kidding yourself if you think any of the guys on our team wanted to be out there anymore.. no reason to be worried about the pitching, how could anyone be on point when the games a laugher like that? They'll be fine..
  22. QUOTE (Brian @ Mar 31, 2011 -> 11:22 PM) Except for those pesky 4 trophies in the past 11 seasons. The last one being in 2007.. I think the statement was an accurate one
