  1. Sir you said 15 GOOD SP prospects. Now you’ve moved the goal posts to just 15 prospects. Your specialty.
  2. No, I’m suggesting that filling 12-15 MLB roster spots with minor leaguers from our system and a handful of B/C free agents for NEXT SEASON isn’t going to improve this club to knocking on the door of .500 especially if we trade off Crochet and Robert.
  3. Huh? I removed all the guys I didn’t think were good prospects. Do you really need me to write a paragraph why Drohan isn’t a good SP prospect? And please, don’t talk to me about prickish, you’re one of the biggest assholes posting here.
  4. Not incapable, they’re not willing.
  5. Fielding a complete roster full of competent MLB players, which isn’t going to be happening if your expectation is we just call up a bunch of prospects and sign mid to low tier FA. This is what has been happening this season and we’ll, you know how it’s going. This was your great plan to be back to .500 in a year or two. Now I remember you’re the same goofball who has this very same argument a few weeks ago and said there was a bunch of JR apologists on this board lol.
  6. Probably leave it there as far as real potential MLB prospects. You have a very strange idea of what a good pitching prospect is.
  7. That’s not what I said at all. I said if they don’t trade Robert, Crochet, Fedde, etc and only declined options on the obvious players they would have upwards of 15 roster spots to fill next season. Secondly, they threw 7.5 million per year at an unknown SP and it’s paying off. That’s great, but if that’s your expectation for filling out the rotation that’s not going to end well
  8. There is not 15 good SP prospects on this list my man
  9. Very low, did you just become a fan or something?
  10. I want to see your list, since im pretty sure I saw you say the other day we got a "Good young SP prospect" in the Bummer trade which was fascinating to me.
  11. The problem is, the White Sox aren't going to sign a middle of the rotation FA SP.
  12. Its bad, really bad. If they trade Crochet, Robert, Fedde, Kopech, Wilson Decline options on Maldonado, Stassi, Moncada, Jimenez Non tender Vaughn and Lopez Where is a competent MLB roster going to come from next season?
  13. Helps when you have a top 10 pitching staff.
  14. I was talking about next season, that wasn't 3-4 years down the line. It was just to show the massive amount of holes that need to be filled on this roster. And that was without trading those guys. Once they do get traded, its even more holes to be filled.
  15. The Sox starting tearing it down after 2016. They stunk in 2017, 2018, and 2019 finally getting back to .500 in 2020 but we dont even know how that full season would have ended anyways. You're looking at 2024, 2025, and 2026 as loser seasons pretty much guaranteed. I would be putting my money on 5 years if I was a betting man. Things could certainly change if they can get a haul for Crochet, Robert, and Fedde.
  16. Just assume they make no trades and decline options on the obvious. If you think were magically going to add 15 players to this roster that make significant steps forward between prospects hitting and free agency you're crazy. And this is with no trades assumed and Vaughn not getting non tendered. C - Korey Lee 1B - Andrew Vaughn 2B - NO ONE 3B - NO ONE SS - NO ONE LF - Andrew Benintendi CF - Luis Robert RF - Corey Julks DH - Gavin Sheets SP - Garrett Crochet SP - Erick Fedde SP - NO ONE SP - NO ONE SP - NO ONE BULLPEN - Kopech, Wilson, Leasure, and then a bunch of NO ONE
  17. It would take unprecedented prospect hit rates to achieve this. Its not going to happen. Unless we can get Sale/Quintana like returns for Crochet and Robert this is going to take a long time to build back to just .500
  18. I meant to come back to this sooner, but this is quite possibly the funniest post I have ever seen on this site. Bravo man, I legit laughed out loud and still laugh reading it again.
  19. Man these guys are 1-16 in the last 17 games. How does that even happen in professional baseball.
  20. 2027 seems like the best case scenario to me, and I think that kind of requires us to trade Crochet and Robert this season. I have no confidence that the money will be spent wisely this off season and even when Pedro gets fired, I again don't have any confidence in this organization hiring the right guy. We have a GM who so far has shown he is in way over his head and I have really disliked 90% of the moves he has made. We really need to cash in on Robert and Crochet, that will go a long way in expediting this rebuild. I think if you can trade Crochet, Robert, & Fedde for 7-8 prospects with 3-4 of those being real blue chips we would be in business. Add in the high pick this year and smaller trades of guys like Kopech and Wilson, the farm should be incredibly deep with real talent. That seems like the only realistic path this team has to being competitive anytime soon.
  21. That’s exactly right. It’s why I don’t really care how bad they are, I’ll forget about this if they can build sustained success.
  22. Dude I live in Houston and am surrounded by their annoying fans, they never talk about anything other than how great they are and how they go to the ALCS every year. No one ever talks about those bad years.
  23. Yeah I’m enjoying how comically bad they are.
