  1. QUOTE (Chi Town Sox @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 11:35 AM) If they got Bosh instead of Boozer would that have brought them closer? Yes because getting Bosh would have netted them one of LeBron or Wade
  2. QUOTE (sircaffey @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 11:33 AM) The Bulls still have $17 mil in available cap space. We ain't done yet. I don't think there is anyone else out there, not including LeBron, that is going to push the Bulls past any of those teams..
  3. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 11:32 AM) Because they'll literally have no money left if that happens. They will find a way to make it work out
  4. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 11:27 AM) Except the Bulls DID get something that improved their team quite a bit. And also because it's factual. Miami will be really, REALLY good with the big 3. But they won't coast to 5 straight titles. You NEED role players. They literally have NONE. And like someone else mentioned, those Boston teams were some of the best defensive teams. The Bulls aren't any closer to a title than they were last season.. Boozer is a nice player and all, but they aint gettin to the finals anytime soon as teams like Orlando, Miami, and Boston are still better than them even without knowing where LeBron is going.. you might add Cleveland or New York to that list too, who knows until tonight.. Why does everyone assume its just going to be LeBron, Wade, Bosh and crap? There will be some people who will find a way to get on that team to get themselves a ring.. its not going to be the Bigger 3 and then a handful of guys from off the street..
  5. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 11:21 AM) The only "morons" are the people that think Miami is just going to coast to the next 5 titles if they get LeBron. Nah, ide definitely say its the people who are sour that the Bulls didn't get anything out of this offseason and don't want to see LeBron and Co. own the league for the foreseeable future..
  6. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 11:14 AM) It's not good enough to beat the Lakers. Even the old farts in Boston will be tough if they don't have body parts fall off before the playoffs. Why do people keep saying this? The Lakers struggled against a Boston team who NO ONE gave any credit to here, now all of the sudden its different? If Miami gets LeBron they will be the best team in the league next year.. anyone who disagrees is either a bitter Bulls fan or a moron..
  7. QUOTE (sircaffey @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 11:11 AM) I hope LBJ goes to Miami. It'd be pretty funny for a guy who could have been the best that ever played, go be a glue guy for Wade. I get a lot of enjoyment from that for some reason. Yeah and im sure hell care about that too when hes looking at his handful of championship rings
  8. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 01:56 PM) Is LeBron going to be announcing from Vince McMahon's house? Yes, and I feel a LeBron heel turn coming where he trashes Cleveland and says he never loved them
  9. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 12:36 PM) Unless the Lakers get Chris Paul or Dwight Howard there's nothing they could do. Lebron goes to Miami and it's curtains for the rest of the league. And its not even close
  10. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 12:29 PM) I guess then the NBA shouldnt have a season because Miami is going to win the title. If Lebron goes to Miami, Ill gladly take the field. My guess is that Miami would not be favorites against the field. And ide say you're guess would be wrong.. they would be the favorites hands down
  11. I look at it like this LeBron with very little around him was good enough to win 60+ games the last two years.. but give him two more stars, Wade AND Bosh.. that team would set the all time season wins record..
  12. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 12:24 PM) I actually dont think Wade/Bosh/Lebron match up that well against the Lakers or potentially other teams in the West. They have no defensive big man. One of Lebron/Wade would primarily take over ball handling, and you just may have a team that wins 70+ games, but against the best team could lose 4 out of 7. Even Boston's line up would give them some trouble. You're crazy.. It took game 7 for the Lakers to beat this Celtics team with Ray Allen no showing half the series and an over the hill KG.. and you think they would beat Wade/LeBron/Bosh? Theres no way, it doesnt matter who the other two starters are on that team.. they would be trampling people..
  13. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 12:21 PM) The odds of a Wade/Lebron/Bosh team not winning any championships (with them remaining healthy) would have to be ridiculously low. They would win the title next season, im almost sure of that..
  14. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 12:15 PM) Woj has been careful to release any bulls***, and he said this morning that LeBron is not coming to Chicago, and that it's down to Cleveland or Miami. Thus, I have zero hope. I wouldn't believe any of that stuff.. No one knows what LeBron is going to do, nothing is getting leaked from him.. its all speculation, and why wouldn't the main speculation right now be him staying in Cleveland or going to Miami? Doesn't mean the Bulls are out of it yet..
  15. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 12:07 PM) Yeah, why play against them when he can play WITH them? Even if he doesn't I like LeBron with the Bulls and LeBron with the Knicks better than Wade and Bosh in Miami.. LeBron comes off as very competitive and you can tell how much he cares about winning.. hes gotta know that going back to Cleveland right now isn't going to get him any closer to a title..
  16. With Wade and Bosh in Miami now, I dont understand how LeBron can go back to Cleveland.. they got no chance with the way the East is shaping up so far
  17. Anyone else see the highlight of Vicente Padilla throwing two curveballs I guess, the first was 55 MPH and the 2nd was 51 MPH

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 12:35 PM) Also, I find it crazy that people are still using Web-browsers that do not contain spell checkers. YOU SAID THIS ON FACEBOOK
  19. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 07:12 AM) There was a point to that though. It was Marston trying to settle down and lead that mundane rancher life. I understand there was a point to it, it was just really boring and I could have done without it..
  20. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jul 5, 2010 -> 07:33 PM) I just finished it and felt like the ending was a bit disjointed. You finish your task, then do another hours worth of bulls*** quests, and then you're given a semi-predictable ending. Still pretty solid though. I'd give it an 8/10. It's not the greatest game ever, despite some of the reviews. Very buggy, boring and repetitive at times (cattle herding = AWFUL). But, the parts that were done right were done really well. The landscape visuals are amazing, especially during rainstorms. That was probably my favorite part. I'll definitely grab any DLC they come out with. Rockstar games always have mission that are incredibly boring/annoying.. I hate racing the most, although it was easier on horseback than it is in a Porsche.. The worst part of the game for me was near the end where you just worked as a farmer for like 5 missions in a row, there was literally no action for a good chunk of that section.. It got to a point where I was just like holy s*** im done herding cattle and shooing crows away from my crop, when can I blow someones head off?
  21. If LeBron stays in Cleveland then he really is a diva There was absolutely no reason to have this LeBronageddon summer if he is just going to stay in Cleveland.. He would have already resigned if that was the case.. whats the point of going through all of this? There is 100%, without a doubt, better options for him to play for than Cleveland.. If its about winning, Cleveland is not where he needs to be.. they cant beat Orlando, and they cant beat Boston.. Cleveland has literally no room to add anything of importance around him right now.. If the Bulls get Wade, or Wade AND Bosh that's just another team that Cleveland isn't going to be able to get past in the East.. Hell Miami might even end up with Wade and Bosh.. So basically if LeBron is looking at this, Boston will more than likely be returning the same team.. Orlando is still there.. the Bulls could potentially pass Cleveland up.. The Knicks may even make themselves a little more competitive depending on how their offseason finishes.. maybe its the Heat that bump themselves up.. I can tell you the one team that wont be improving, that's Cleveland.. If he stays in Cleveland its all about not hurting peoples feelings in the home town.. If he decides to stay, I don't think there is anyway he can justify that there is a better chance of winning there than in any of these other places courting him.. Wade isn't going back to Miami unless they get another piece for him, that's the whole reason he isn't locked up there already anyway.. Chicago is the PERFECT scenario for LeBron.. Even if all they got was LeBron, I don't see how they aren't the favorites to come out of the East.. And the crazy part is, even if they sign LeBron there is STILL room to add another big piece to that team.. there is just no way that he can explain why staying in Cleveland was a better choice than going to the Bulls.. and he pretty much will just be proving that he is an attention whore and its not about winning.. he has a chance to win multiple championships with a very, very good team.. If he stays in Cleveland, I hope the Bulls gets Wade and "Blank" and win the title next year so LeBron can sit there kicking himself saying "That coulda been me, at least Akron loves me"
  22. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jul 5, 2010 -> 10:17 PM) If I'm going to spend $20 million on someone, I want to say that, without a doubt, they are one of the best in baseball. Can you really say that about Prince Fielder? If he performs like last year, yes
  23. QUOTE (Lillian @ Jul 5, 2010 -> 09:53 PM) A guy with an on base percentage of .370 or better, who is capable of hitting 20 to 25 homers, and driving in 80 to 90 runs would be fine. A player of the caliber of Dunn or Fielder is really not necessary, if the pitching holds up. So who is this other guy that's going to hit 25 HRs drive in 90 runs and have a .370 OBP?
  24. QUOTE (Real @ Jul 5, 2010 -> 09:47 PM) I wouldn't be too sad about it.. the Twins getting Cliff Lee will almost assure us of getting a somewhat big name.. its what KW does
  25. QUOTE (opwhitesoxfan @ Jul 5, 2010 -> 09:42 PM) Add to the 6 million they had available for Damon and the money they will safe after next year when the finally rid themselves of Linebrink and extra ticket sales and you can make a decent offer to extend Prince. Fielder would be the highest paid player on our team, that extra 6 million and losing Linebrink just isnt going to make as much of a dent into his extension as you think
