  1. Its cool, we have a wave coming. Its how it works.
  2. Next years team will 100% be more fun as we should start seeing some of the kids coming up. There is 0% chance the White Sox are over .500 in the 2026 season. You are talking about hitting on a prospect rate that is not realistic.
  3. Great now Sheets gets a gift double so hes locked up 3rd in the order for the next month.
  4. Worst start in franchise history, obvious season is over, why are they not at least TRYING something different? I feel like Benintendi has been lead off or 5th all year long. Its literally killing this team. Same with Vaughn. Just shuffle the lineup or try something different for fucks sake.
  5. The only thing I can think of is they told him hes safe and they realize this year is a wash. Nothing else makes sense.
  6. For as much as defense was touted by Getz, we continue to suck at it while sticking with the 1B in RF.
  7. Let me clarify, the reason I think this is going to take 4-5 years is because there are no young building blocks on this team today outside of Robert and its debatable about Crochet, but lets just include him anyways. So we have a superstar CFer (When hes actually on the field) and a #2/3 starting pitcher. Every other position on this roster will need to be filled with either a FA or a prospect. We already know they are not going to be in the bidding for the impact free agents. And we already know that not all prospects work out. So you tell me, how long you think its going to take to fill out 24 roster spots with players that will have this team competing again? Keeping in mind that Robert is likely to be traded within the next year and Crochet, if ascending to a front of the rotation pitcher, will most likely meet the same fate.
  8. Dude please stop. Korey Lee has 179 MLB at bats. Crochet has made 10 starts. Ramos has 32 MLB at bats. I am not dismissing the minor league system, but you can't go into an argument saying the rebuild won't take 5 years and your support to that is 9-10 prospects and a bunch of TBD's. If we learned anything from the rebuild we just did, these guys are not all going to work out. So I go back to the point I was making, this is going to take 4-5 years to rebuild. Minimum.
  9. Yes, Benintendi being awful and being stuck on this team for the foreseeable future is a detriment and a cause for how this will take longer to fix. You said its not going to take 5 years and then listed 9 prospects and 4 TBD's. They will not all work out, and odds say very few of them will actually work out. The White Sox are going to be a bad team most likely through 2026 and even that might be generous.
  10. Lee & Quero, both unknowns. Benintendi stinks. Robert will most likely be traded. Ramos is an unknown. Montgomery is an unknown. You have 4 TBD's on there. Your starting pitching is Crochet who you can still argue is an unknown followed by all unknowns. So basically, we have absolutely nothing for the next year and a half unless you want to play the assumption game.
  11. This is about as close to rebuilding from nothing as it gets. The return on a Robert trade is going to be massive in how long this thing will take.
  12. Yeah im starting to lean that way as well. If they didn't move on when it was 3-22, obviously they expected (and should have ) that this team was going to be DOA anyways. I think you see him fired after the season and they move on to the next step of the rebuild.
  13. Yeah, kind of hard to argue with this now. He has a 1.49 ERA through 72 AA innings. I think hes about as ready as hes going to get.
  14. Seriously, if you're going to churn the roster then try to find under performers who could reach a desirable ceiling or younger guys that have fallen out of favor with their current team. As much as I disliked trading a lottery ticket type prospect for Julks, at least he isn't washed veteran on the downside of their career. You can at least see a scenario where you could get a 4th OFer out of him for a few years. We are just rotating through garbage like Flexen, Keller, and Soroka who have no future here and have no value. Hell just let Nastrini and Cannon take their lumps and get experience. I would love to see them start adding some project players through the waiver wire. Maybe they have tried, I don't know, but the constant jettison of young players for washed veterans aint it.
  15. Does this scouting ever make it to Grifol? I question that with some of the bonehead decisions he keeps making. Is anyone going to ever tell him batting Benintendi 5th and Vaughn 2nd/3rd probably isn't the best idea?
  16. Go look at his post history. He would comment on a post and then end it with like “well this weather is beautiful I think I’ll drop the top on the ol wrangler and take a drive” it was hilariously awkward.
  17. Fletcher was bad, so was Sosa. They fit right in with everyone else on this team. As it was already said, should have just let the kids play and stop trying to patch holes with more crappy veterans at the expense of said kids.
  18. And he also insulted that Downtown Brown guy who always made creepy Jeep references in all of his posts and now I don't ever see him anymore and can't laugh at how weird he is.
  19. Its not like his FIP is bad anyways lol, I don't get it.
  20. I want no part of signing a 33 year old pitcher to a multiyear $20+ million dollar deal. And in case you haven't been paying attention, neither do the White Sox. If you want to build a team to compete, then you trade Fedde this year. Were not one SP away from competing.
  21. Yeah I’m not looking into that, I don’t really care. Just pointing out that as of today he’s doing better in a different organization than he did last year at the same level with our team. We’ll see what it looks like in a few months.
  22. I’ve seen you mention this a few times now and I think it’s valid to bring up that Thompson is now through 23 innings with the Cubs and has a 3.50 ERA while significantly dropping his whip and striking out over 1 per inning. That sample size continues to grow.
  23. Has anyone even said anything about losing this specific player? Seems we’re all more upset we keep dumping prospects for AAAA players with no ceilings or future here.
  24. Toronto's not very impressive, but I am going to be pretty surprised if they win more than 2 games out of the 7 against the Yankees and Orioles.
