Yes I always found it odd that if its so hard to survive out there how can a group of camera men follow him around?

The CGI claws looked bad, surprised they couldn't get those right. Needed wayyyy more Deadpool

To be fair, you cant really say "he used a 1st to draft someone in the 2nd" because most of the time when trading for current round picks the return is usually a round earlier for the next year. Either way, I thought it was a dumb trade to make anyways. Im not shocked his draft board wasn't that big, Miami traded away their 7th this year because they didn't have anyone else they wanted to take either. So small draft boards aren't something that surprises me, and its not like out of 256 players there are gonna be 256 you want anyways depending on how you've scouted or your needs fall.

QUOTE (zenryan @ Apr 29, 2009 -> 02:03 AM) Why should anyone who is a fan of another team come to this thread? As long as the Bulls are in the playoffs then this should be a Bulls thread. No one is talking about the other series. Because this is the NBA thread and there is a Bulls message board that they can go to and talk only Bulls if they so desire. But yes, this is basically a Bulls thread.

QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Apr 28, 2009 -> 11:12 PM) Ahh yes, the old "it's 2-2, and if not for a 3 at the horn, could have possibly been 3-1" series in which one team isn't hanging with another one. See those all the time. Maybe if only 1 game had been like that, ide agree.

QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Apr 28, 2009 -> 11:10 PM) Hmm...so the game 1 comeback isn't hanging with Orlando? A late game winner in Game 3 isn't hanging with Orlando? The fact that Orlando needed a late game winner in Game 4 mean that Philly wasn't hanging around? Games 2 & 5 were the only games where Orlando didn't have to worry about Philly hanging around... Am I wrong? Maybe my definition of being able to hang with someone is different than yours. Getting dominated for the majority of the series and then having to make a double digit comeback and hit two buzzer beaters doesn't really make me believe Philly can hang with Orlando. It looks more to me like Orlando thought they would have a walk through and didn't play to their potential at times in this series.

QUOTE (rangercal @ Apr 28, 2009 -> 10:50 PM) Orlando would lose to this Boston team 4-1 . You guys just don't have the heart. Philly has no business hanging with Orlando. Sure man, I forgot that the Bulls were team heart of the NBA. And Philly isn't hanging with Orlando. They pulled some huge comeback out of their ass in game 1 and hit a buzzer beater. Orlando won game 2 comfortably. Game 3, another buzzer beater on a tough layup. Game 4, Orlando was up 10 with like 2 minutes left and Philly comes back again but Orlando gets its chance at a buzzer beater. And then tonight, comfortable win again. The fact that this could VERY easily have been a sweep, I wouldn't say Philly has been hanging with them. More like Orlando has been playing with their head in their ass.
-
QUOTE (rangercal @ Apr 28, 2009 -> 10:21 PM) You better worry about Philly 1st. You were hiding for a couple weeks, don't just come out of the woodwork now. Let me guess, we are going to have a DBAHO appearance tomorrow morning. Oh please, Orlando hasn't had anything to be worried about. Philly won two games on buzzer beaters, one game they had no business being in anyways. This could have easily been a sweep, Orlando probably just overlooked them and it still takes everything Philly possibly has to barely win. I haven't been worried. When Philly is winning games comfortably, maybe ill worry. Or how about just one win from them where they don't have to make some huge comeback and hit a buzzer beater. Chicago aint winnin anyways, so its not really gonna matter.. I don't post much in here because 1 its all Bulls talk and 2 I wasn't worried about Orlando, they have been fine.

Im really hoping the Bulls can pull this series out somehow so Orlando can roll them in round 2

QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Apr 28, 2009 -> 06:01 PM) If the price was right, he would be a nice compliment to Forte -- but we already re-signed Kevin Jones so it wouldnt make cap-sense He wouldn't sign with the Bears anyway The reason he wanted out of Arizona is because they used Hightower a lot and threw a lot, he wants to be the man still so I wouldn't see that working out.

Well not only was Matt Hardy on TV last night, he wrestled. I think we can put this to rest.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 28, 2009 -> 03:47 PM) There are more people following the game in this thread than at the game. Haha I know, the first time they panned out on a foul ball I didn't see more than like 30 people. -

QUOTE (iamshack @ Apr 27, 2009 -> 03:35 PM) I think Mel Kiper was offered a job by the Baltimore Colts in 1983 before they moved to Indianapolis. I could be wrong, but I think he makes more money doing what he does now than what he would make working for an NFL team. He obviously is very arrogant, and nothing makes that more clear than the on-air argument he had with Colts Director of Football Operations Bill Tobin when the Colts took Marshall Faulk rather than a QB...Kiper said something like "that's why the Colts are picking 2nd every year and not contending for a Super Bowl." But the guy knows his stuff, is recognized as the foremost commentator and expert on the draft, and while he is certainly wrong at times, he knows a hell of a lot more than anyone on this board (and probably more than many NFL executives) about players entering the draft. So disagree with him all you want, and personally, I don't particularly care for the guy, but to claim he doesn't know his stuff is not in the least bit accurate. Most people meaning who? ESPN. Please. No one said Mel Kiper knows nothing, I just said that I think his opinion is worthless because unless you draft in line with his ratings, he hates your draft/pick.

QUOTE (CryptviLL @ Apr 27, 2009 -> 04:13 PM) Amazing show last night, really impressed, and im one of wee's biggest doubters! Yeah Isn't it funny how great this product can be if it actually did things right all the time?

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 26, 2009 -> 11:08 PM) And that says a lot as far am I'm concerned. Mel Kiper comes off as a dick at times. But this dude straight knows his football. Best football analyst out there, IMO. Mel Kipers opinion is pretty much worthless. Hes never worked for the NFL as an actual scout, he is just some guy that does his own research and makes his own predictions. In case you haven't noticed by now, he trashes all picks that don't fall in line with his ratings and loves all of the picks that are right by him or are taken after he slotted them.. I now understand why some of you prefer the NFLN coverage better, it was way better. I like actually hearing about the guys who get drafted instead of watching Erin Andrews interview Quan Cosby with Bill Cosby cracking wise in the background.

Look, you are both right You could have the best defensive front ever with a weak secondary and get toasted. You can have the best secondary ever with a weak defensive front and get toasted. You need to get pressure on the QB from your defensive front while having an adequate secondary to fulfill this argument. Yes, the defensive front is more important, but no you can not just have scrubs back there.

QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Apr 26, 2009 -> 09:57 PM) Honestly, overall, this PPV was better than Wrestlemania. Nothing beats that Michaels-Undertaker match, but all the matches tonight were beyond solid. Gotta give WWE credit for getting it right Orton goes over, clean, and is the new WWE Champion while finishing what he started and taking out each member of the McMahon family. I thought it shoulda happened at Wrestlemania but its better late than never. Edge ending with a victory over Cena to close out their feud was also great. Mainly because I hate Cena, but more so to solidify Edge as THE top performer on Smackdown. Another good choice.

QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Apr 26, 2009 -> 04:58 PM) Seriously, why did we go with Louis and Kinder when guys like Canfield and Cadogen were there? Both guys were projected to go anywhere from the 2nd-4th, but were there in the 7th. You would figure that by watching enough drafts people would understand that projections don't mean s***.. Its why superstar Rey Maualuga goes in Round 2 Its why there are always players that you see in the 5th or later and say to yourself "zOMG I saw a mock with them in the second how could we not draft them!?!?!?!" Duke Robinson was a 2nd round prospect in a LOT of mocks, dude fell like a rock. The only people who truly know player value are the people running these teams with the exception of Al Davis. That's why I try not to get up in arms about who my team drafts, its very easy to get caught up in "experts" mocks and be furious when you think your team reached or blew it by passing on someone.

QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ Apr 26, 2009 -> 02:03 PM) Can somebody pull this stat that may sound dumb but I would like to know what he Sox are hitting after the 6th inning in their losses. They seem to lose rather meekly. We are 9-2 when we hit a HR.. 0-7 when we don't Its HR or nothing so far this year, hopefully the trend doesn't last all year -
Why is there an ESPN crew with Brian Hoyer again? Is it not painful watching them keep showing him like he is some great prospect that fell?
