  1. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 22, 2008 -> 12:12 PM) If it's all about popularity, you are a fan of the wrong baseball team. If you are trying to suggest I need to be a Cubs fan that's bulls*** and a cheap shot Just because I love football more than baseball doesn't mean that you are any more of a Sox fan than I am
  2. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Sep 29, 2008 -> 08:45 AM) And IM bitter? And when you say they lose all of their big games, I assume you are talking about this group of upperclassmen? The buckeyes as a program have been winnig big games long before you were swimming around in your daddy's testicles so I wouldnt think you were referring to the program as a whole. Either way I'll take 1 or 2 loss seasons all day long. And I'd love another shot at USC with the Big Ten's best player back and the top freshman behind center. Plenty of teams won big games long before I was born, not sure what that has to do with anything but ok bro Ohio State would still get creamed by USC with Wells and Pryor starting.. IF they even get a rematch, it would be basically another home game for USC, and another ugly loss for the Buckeyes
  3. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Sep 28, 2008 -> 02:32 PM) Before Thursday, he was having a monster year. well for one, no he wasn't and second, it had been 2 games
  4. I deliver pizza for Dominos All I will say is, if you are a s***ty tipper or you just don't tip at all.. next time your order comes up or whatever your situation is, people don't forget it
  5. How is it being bipolar? This team basically pissed the division away pending a miracle (based on how we've played recently) We should all be angry and upset with them, I think that's pretty justified with how its gone down
  6. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Sep 27, 2008 -> 10:35 PM) 6'4, rocket arm, mobility, accurate....why not? As a Junior, he would have to have a MONSTER season to not only come out, but be picked in the top 15. That aint happening. He didn't do anything in 06, he was meh in mop up in 07, and this is his first year starting full time. Could he be a top 15 pick? Maybe, after his senior year but I wouldn't bet on it ever happening.

QUOTE (santo=dorf @ Sep 23, 2008 -> 06:27 PM) I was entertained in a gross out way from the first one. The second one was boring and had a stupid ending, so no, I was not entertained. haha no way the end was awesome
  8. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Sep 26, 2008 -> 08:00 AM) Therefore PSU must be better than USC, which means the Big Ten must be better than the Pac-10, right????????? And actually OSU fans are happy about USC losing, because it could give us another shot at them. Sorry about your hatred. 1. Yes, I think the Big 10 is better than the Pac 10 2. No, it doesn't mean Penn State is better than USC. Just because im trashing Ohio State and you are a bitter fan doesn't mean that's what I said. 3. I hope USC plays Ohio State again so Ohio State can get their ass kicked, AGAIN. However, I don't even know if they can even win the Big 10 so that might not even matter. 4. No need to be sorry about it, its not a jealous hate since they choke in all their big games anyways.. its just more of a, im not a fan of them hate.
  9. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Sep 26, 2008 -> 07:18 PM) If they get a top 15 pick, which looks like a lock, and Sanchez/Stafford/Bradford are all gone, I think they should go with Taylor Mays. If one of those 3 QBs are there, draft one of them and go with Patrick Chung from Oregon in the 2nd round. uh, I hope you aren't talkin bout USC's Sanchez.. in the top 15? you are out of your mind. The Bears need to take Rhett Bomar in the middle rounds somewhere. He has the size and the arm, and some pretty good mobility as well. I think he would be a nice pick in round 3 or 4 unless he shoots up to the 2-3 range. Either way, I think he could be a solid guy in the future.
  10. QUOTE (WSoxMatt @ Sep 26, 2008 -> 05:33 PM) Screw all you guys that boo, its not ove, we can win, I see you boo birds as quitters, and we all know NO ONE LIKES A QUITTER!!! Why? If you go to the game and give em a standing ovation maybe they will be like "Wow, we are choking this thing away and the fans are still behind us, I don't feel so bad now" Or you can boo the s*** out of them and maybe, MAYBE, it would be a little more fire for them to try and get this done. Hey, these people are pissed, were pissed, lets try and fight our way to the playoffs. I said they should be boo'd so it can just re-enforce to them that they are blowing this and they need to get their ass in line. If you just give them a pat on the back as if to say "Hey, well get em next year" maybe thats the type of attitude they are going to get from it. It doesn't mean I am not a fan and I don't still support them, but god damn they are pissing this away and I should have a right to be upset about it.
  11. Everyone who goes to the Cleveland games needs to boo the s*** out of these losers Maybe just one of the games, but the entire place should just be giving it to em bad
  12. The best thing about all of this is how bad it makes Ohio State look Penn State beat Oregon State by like 30 earlier in the year Man I hate Ohio State
  13. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Sep 24, 2008 -> 09:15 PM) Oregon State is getting 26 tomorrow. I'll still take USC... womp womp
  14. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Sep 23, 2008 -> 11:58 PM) The Bills offense needs another playmaker or they need Lynch to turn into one, but they have one of the best OLines in the AFC, especially now that Peters is back. I also think you are severely underrating Arizona, who they play after St. Louis...the Bills have a quick defense, but if the Arizona receivers get behind the coverage, Warner could easily have a field day. I'm more concerned about that game than any of the 3 coming up after that. A couple other points -San Diego's defense is mediocre or possibly even straight up bad, but their offense is ridiculous. That's a team to watch out for, especially if LT2 is healthy, but it's a winnable game. -Ronnie Brown is not a QB; his place in the single wing is essentially how Miami got their only win. That won't continue. -The Jets are not a good team. They probably should have lost to the Dolphins, lost by 2 scores to New England, and got slaughtered by San Diego. I don't believe they are anything more than a 7-9 or 8-8 team. -New England has become underrated since Brady went down, but they are still without Brady. That's still probably the game in the next 2 months that concerns me the most. Personally, I'd rather see them get 7 or 8 wins before November ends before I even consider them a playoff team. I've seen them collapse way too many times in the past 10 or so years. regardless of what you think of Miami or the other teams in the AFC East, they are still division games and will be tough ones. I also expect San Diego to blow out Buffalo as well, so well see what happens. I didn't overlook Arizona, but after they laid an egg against Washington they lost my respect
  15. QUOTE (lostfan @ Sep 23, 2008 -> 07:17 PM) That Steelers O-line you saw vs. Philly was the actual Steelers O-line. It's pathetic. Somehow they got away with it for the first couple of games. Philly is one of the top teams in the NFC in my opinion, I have them and Dallas battling it out as to who represents the NFC in the Super Bowl. They have looked damn good, so I wouldn't take too much away from Pittsburgh for that game.
  16. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Sep 23, 2008 -> 03:43 PM) Watch and see. You won't be laughing come mid-January. This team is complete with just enough passing. Right now, they're the 2nd best team in the AFC, behind Pittsburgh. Although, with the way the Steelers played Sunday, you could say Buffalo is the #1 team right now. The Bills right now have the 30th ranked offense and have played a pretty easy 3 games. They aren't the second best team in the AFC, and they sure as hell aren't the #1 team. St. Louis is battling KC for title of worst team in the NFL, so chances are Buffalo could be 5-0 going into the bye and were going to have to hear you continue to talk craziness. AFTER the bye however, they get San Diego, @ Miami, NYJ, @ New England Why don't you wait to see how they do in those 4 games before putting them in the AFC title game. Tennessee, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, Denver, and San Diego are all teams who I would place over Buffalo in the AFC right now. I would even put Baltimore in front of them if they could put points on the board, but since they cant, I wont.
  17. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Sep 22, 2008 -> 07:46 AM) Let's worry about Cleveland when we have to... the much more important series is upon us. I actually think the Cleveland series is more important than the Twins series to be quite honest
  18. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Sep 22, 2008 -> 10:03 PM) I've been saying it for months- they will be in the AFC title game. hahaha right

  23. QUOTE (shipps @ Sep 21, 2008 -> 09:35 AM) Wether it be the ownerships fault or the fans fault I will not give any credit to Selig for bringing parity until those teams can get with the f***ing program. It is his responsibility to force the situation into parity if he wants to get credit for bringing it to the league. Im pretty sure knight was being sarcastic with that parity comment
  24. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 19, 2008 -> 08:58 PM) You live in Texas. You clearly have a bias. Im from Chicago, there is no bias I just love football, much like everyone else in this country. Football is not only king in Texas, but pretty much the USA. Some MONDAY night football games draw bigger or close to ratings as the World Series does. Now I love baseball too, but football is just something else. Plus, baseball is 162 games almost playing EVERY day. Football is once a week for 16 games and playoffs. If I miss a weekend of football I cant stand it because its gonna be almost a week before its back. If I cant catch a Sox game no big deal they will be on tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day, and the next day after that TWICE, and then the next day. I would for sure watch a Sox playoff game over any regular season game for football though.
