  1. I went with Dye because Kalapse is never wrong
  2. Relax people.. If we go .500 the rest of the way thats gonna give us 94 wins How many people think that this team will be a 500 team the rest of the season? I dont. Too many people are ready to jump off the cliff, we know what our pitching can do so its safe to think that at some point they are going to turn it around as a whole.
  3. Im in Houston and there is no game on fox at all.. I am very dissapointed
  4. hahahahaha I can see Willie being like "Say gurl, how you doin?? Lemme holla atcha" cuz hes a pimp like that
  5. QUOTE(Brian @ Jul 7, 2006 -> 03:03 PM) Just read that the story may be BS. I hope so. I don't see how WWE can be so strict about these painkillers. I understand they are bad, yada yada yada, but what do you expect these guys to do when they have to put on matches 4 or 5 nights a week. It takes a toll on you. Just saw this on Wrestlezone "A rumor going around certain websites suggesting Randy Orton was caught violating the WWE Wellness Policy is wholly without merit. While Orton did participate in a number of incidents prior to his suspension, none were drug-related in the sense conveyed in the inaccurate rumor, and nothing bad has taken place since Orton returned to the road. The rumors were attributed to the Wrestling-Observer Newsletter, which never printed such a story."
  6. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jul 7, 2006 -> 02:37 PM) From the places I have been to, I would put the cell right up there. I think it is much louder now than before the rennovation. MM Park is loud with the roof closed, but I think the fans just arent as excitable because they are used to keeping their energy low due to the heat. Also the Bee noise is horrible RFK is silent Shea is pretty loud, but there are tons of people there as well. Also the noise reverberates under the canopy. Detroit is avg Cle is avg, the drum sucks Cinci is pretty loud, but not really great. The fans tend to be more relaxed. Wrigley during playoff time is electric from what I saw, though, I still think the cell was louder. The fans in Houston are not very excitable, for instance a base hit scoring one run in houston will get claps from the fans where as at the Cell we all went nuts It was crazy the difference between the fans
  7. Didnt see this anywhere yet so I am giving the shout out to my boy Tim, giggity
  8. QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ Jul 7, 2006 -> 12:31 PM) I've read that Houston, when the roof is closed, can be deafening. Ive been to plenty Astros games since I live here, and when I went to two games at the Cell in June when I was in Chicago it was MUCH louder than its ever been in Houston.. Roof closed OR open, it was unbelievable how better the Sox fans are than the Astros fans..
  9. In related news... Randy Orton tested positive for steroids, failed WWE's wellness program, and was caught with 8 bottles of painkillers in his dressing room.. Dunno what they are gonna do about it because he is schedule to fight Hogan at SummerSlam and suspending him now would throw off a major storyline.. but something is gonna have to happen Please dont fire Orton
  10. I absoloutley hate John Cena, and so do most fans.. Plenty of times he has been heavily boo'ed as the Champ.. For instance the crowd went nuts at New Years Revoloution when Edge cashed in on the Money in the Bank and beat him for the title

Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask are both my favorite games ever.. But nothing will hold a candle to multiplayer mode on Goldeneye, boy when I got double Dostels, there was no stoppin me.. I HATED it when people would pick Odd Job and crouch and just chop you when it was on one shot kills.. we had plenty of fights over that
  13. Man I forgot a hilarious movie Kung Pow: Enter the Fist Great movie
  14. QUOTE(BobDylan @ Jul 6, 2006 -> 01:11 AM) You like the slapstick side of comedy. In the American style, I don't think it takes much talent. Anyway, my top 10 comedies. 10. Sleeper 9. Bull Durham 8. Rushmore 7. Bananas 6. Barfly 5. Raising Arizona 4. The Royal Tenenbaums 3. Dr. Strangelove 2. Annie Hall 1. The Graduate Thats what im saying, no one is going to have the exact same ideas about comedy as someone else.. I dont even know one of those 10 movies you listed, never heard of em
  15. QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Jul 6, 2006 -> 12:48 AM) From PWInsider: It's been said that Rob Van Dam and Sabu are taking their punishments very well. They are not complaining at all since they know it's their fault. Neither man will be fired over the incident. After this month, all parties will be moving forward as if it never happened. Rob Van Dam will be gone for 30 days, however, he's in line for a huge push when he returns next month. Also, Sabu's push will continue and it doesn't appear that he will be suspended. Vince McMahon likes Sabu so much that it appears as though that he doesn't have anything to worry about in terms of getting fired or being de-pushed. McMahon loves his old-school wildman character, as well as his in-ring work. And also per WWE.com, Kurt Angle got suspended for 30 days. I'm assuming that this is just kayfabe to give him some time off to recover from his multitude of injuries he's got. Any news on the slim chance it isn't kayfabe for the suspension? Per WrestleZone.com - Kurt Angle is currently taking time off due to personal reasons. Although, Dave Scherer reports that he is currently serving a suspension as well. Angle is on a 30 day suspension. The reason for his suspension has yet to be disclosed. Considering that Rob Van Dam is serving a 30 day suspension of his own, the reason Kurt Angle didn't suddenly come back when he's really needed was because he is "officially suspended." No RVD, No Angle when ECW comes here...
  16. Just their opinion on the top 100 comedies, no one is gonna agree with it 1-100 Im looking at most of your suggestions and I personally dont find them funny at all, and definately wouldnt be in my top 10.. Everyones for the most part is gonna be totally different, but I do agree that there are a lot of movies on there that arent even comedies.. ANYWAYS 10. Billy Madison 9. Major League 8. Wedding Crashers 7. Tommy Boy 6. Dodgeball 5. 40 Year Old Virgin 4. Kingpin 3. Anchorman 2. Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back 1. Dumb and Dumber (Will always be my #1 comedy)
  17. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jul 5, 2006 -> 10:54 PM) Anyone know what Jeroime Robertson is up to these days? He wasn't throwing this good a few weeks ago. Terrible comparison
  18. ECW is coming to my college in about 2 weeks and im gonna be real bummed that I missed RVD

QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jul 5, 2006 -> 08:19 PM) Nothing tops MarioKart and Mario Tennis for N64. [/end thread] Wrong. Goldeneye was the best game ever for N64, there really is no competition
  20. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Jul 5, 2006 -> 02:44 PM) Before I ask this question, you'll have to forgive me for not quite remembering some names (it's been a while since I saw S2): Mary Jane's boyfriend -- the guy she was going to marry before Peter Parker 'saves the day' -- he is an astronaut, yes? I never was big into the comics, but I was told that he goes into space and has a sort of accident, turning him into a villain. Who does he turn into (if, in fact, all of the above facts are correct), and will he be in S3? Man-Wolf

    ugh...

QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Jul 5, 2006 -> 08:12 AM) Really? I thought he was pretty terrible in it. I liked the movie, for the most part, but his voice was terrible for that role. Once he had the mask on, it just sounded all wrong. He sounded bored. Its prolly because I just like Julian McMahon so much
  22. QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Jul 5, 2006 -> 12:57 PM) These geeks explain better than I could: http://www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=23764 I still dont see how this would even be a "huge" spoiler, I get the pictures now.. but this doesnt really strike me as a major twist
