  1. Apparently Culpepper is rehabbing freakishly and has told Miami he might be able to go before September.. QB with a bum knee >>>>>> QB with a bum shoulder This is the first real QB weve had since Marino, I dont care if he misses a few games getting healthy, were a playoff team anyways next year and then getting Culpepper only makes us even stronger.. Great move IMO
  2. Breaking News on ESPN.. I like this better than giving Drew Brees so much guaranteed money without knowing how good his shoulder will be.. Ill post more when i get the info

QUOTE(WCSox @ Mar 13, 2006 -> 09:18 PM) What's the matter with Drew Tate? You an Iowa State fan or something? Nah I went to a Quarterback camp and he was also there and was the biggest suck up ever.. True ass kisser
  4. I have been seeing numerous reports that Drew Brees has signed with the Dolphins on a 6 year 55 million deal.. Now, it might be false BUT, it has been coming up on many sites so there might be some truth to it. Either way Miami has said they want to get the QB situation settled by tonight (Meaning Brees or Culpepper)
  5. Washington is starting to look real good.. They have one of the best safety duos in the league now with Sean Taylor (FS) and Archuleta (SS) and now they have Santana Moss, Brandon Lloyd, and Antwan Randle El to go along with Clinton Portis and a very solid Offensive Line.. If they can get another good season out of Brunell they should be one of the best NFC teams this year..
  6. QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Mar 13, 2006 -> 01:32 PM) According to profootballtalk.com, there's an extra hitch in Hutchinson's offer sheet with the Vikings. If Hutchinson is at any point not the highest paid player on the team, the entire contract is guaranteed. Because Walter Jones is earning more than the contract calls for in the first year, the entire $49 million would be guaranteed the moment Seattle matches. If true, yikes. Say hello to the Vike's new guard. If true the Vikings have got themselves an OUTSTANDING lineman..
  7. QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Mar 13, 2006 -> 01:00 PM) Carolina's at the bottom of the first round, though, so it won't be that expensive. I think you're right about Atl, I doubt they go that way. I just wouldn't rule it out. Im thinking Carolina gives Foster a chance to stay healthy before they look that direction.. After losing Will Witherspoon to STL, they might take a look at a LBer or possibly secondary after losing McCree to SD
  8. QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Mar 13, 2006 -> 12:53 PM) Just b/c there are bigger needs? DeShaun Foster and Nick Goings don't inspire a ton of confidence, and Warrick Dunn, as good as he's been, can't literally be ageless. Duckett scores, but he can't gain any yards. They are paying DeShaun Foster $5 million a year, I doubt they are gonna draft a RB in round one to pay him the same if not more money.. Dunn was a pro bowler, they have bigger needs in the secondary before they need to burn a #1 on a RB.. I expect them to take Michael Huff if hes there at 15
  9. Archuleta signed with the Redskins... the dream is dead
  10. Also, The Dolphins have signed LJ Shelton today.. 4 years/15 million with a 3.5 million bonus.. Not that bad, I bet they have the last year like $6 million and hell never see it anyways.. They also plan to have their QB situation figured out by TODAY
  11. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Mar 12, 2006 -> 11:45 PM) I think I would personally say more effective, but maybe that's just me. I honestly don't like the signing at all. Better, younger backs in the draft, plus the Queens already have a plethora of RBs as it is. Why would you spend any amount of money on a FA back? Exactly
  12. QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Mar 13, 2006 -> 12:46 PM) I doubt they fall that far. And I don't understand why Minny would take a rb in the first round. They just signed Chester Taylor and annointed him as the starter, plus they have Moore and Fason, and Onterrio Smith if they want him. Noone outstanding, but still pretty deep. Meanwhile, they could use defensive help, even moreso now, with Williams leaving. A rb just isn't enough of a need. I'd say the most likely are -- Browns, Eagles, Falcons, Pats, Panthers, Jaguars. I don't think there's any chance they'll slip past the last 2 to Indy or Pitt. But who knows. I dont see the Panthers or Falcons taking a RB, but its possible for the others..
  13. You have to get over all those negatives to realize im the best player regardless of how big of a jackass I am and there is nothing you can do but put up with me because of that fact.. Im also the sexiest poster on this site, tru dat
  14. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Mar 12, 2006 -> 11:55 PM) More guaranteed money...plain and simple. It's not like the Saints are a team in a horrible position - they have a good collection of talent there, but Aaron Brooks is about as bad a QB as there is. 3 Million would not be enough to get me to play for a team that doesnt even know where it could be playing in the future.. Miami is in a much better situation than New Orleans and even so, I dont understand why New Orleans would go all out on a QB with a torn labrum when they can draft a young QB
  15. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Mar 12, 2006 -> 10:54 PM) This is why I asked for the sig Just a reminder Ill have that bad boy for you soon, gotta decide how I want to make it
  16. Kind of a dumb signing if you ask me, especially with the draft being loaded with RB's who could prolly be just as effective as Taylor
  17. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Mar 12, 2006 -> 10:50 PM) WHERES MY SIG BIATCH Get it over with already You WILL honor the Dolphins/Bills sig bet now and I will be making your Dolphins sig to sport very soon..
  18. Im kinda curious about how Minnesota thinks they are gonna trade Culpepper without even letting another teams doctors check him out.. ridiculous
  19. Dolphins | Team still pondering Culpepper trade Sun, 12 Mar 2006 18:28:07 -0800 John Clayton, of ESPN.com, reports Miami Dolphins head coach Nick Saban is still contemplating a trade with the Minnesota Vikings for QB Daunte Culpepper. The Vikings aren't as adamant about asking for a second-round draft choice that could upgrade to a No. 1, but they want a second-round draft pick. One problem is the Vikings won't let Culpepper have a doctor's visit with the Dolphins, only allowing him to talk on the phone with Miami. In the next 24 hours, the Dolphins quarterback will be either Culpepper or free agent QB Drew Brees (Chargers).

    I am Finally back..

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Mar 12, 2006 -> 09:07 PM) I'm hoping man, that'd make my day, that's for sure. Were getting one of them, thats for sure. If Brees isnt signed by tomorrow I am almost 100% they are trading for Culpepper.. We cant lose EDIT: We just signed Sedrick Hodge (OLB) and Andre Goodman (CB) to very cheap deals.. Hodge will replace Seau and Goodman is a good against the run, prolly gonna be a Nickle or Dime back with Daniels still here and Poole coming off injury.. EDIT #2: Oh yeah, and Brees is out to dinner with Saban as we speak.. Hopefully he signs and is the new face of the Dolphins for the next 5-7 years!!!!

QUOTE(Yoda @ Mar 12, 2006 -> 08:31 PM) Welcome back! I can only imagine what it feels to see your favorite baseball team win the World Series and not being able to post in this message board. But the team we have this season is built to repeat and hopefully every Sox fan will be together to celebrate. No kidding, It sucked

QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Mar 12, 2006 -> 08:12 PM) Vince Young was posting while you were absent. He told me to tell you that Drew Tate is good. Haha, man I hate Drew Tate so much.
  25. QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Mar 12, 2006 -> 04:03 PM) Hutchinson signs big offer sheet with Vikings. Link. $49 mil over 7 years, $16 mil guaranteed. Big cap hit the first year to prevent the Seahawks from matching. Will they match? That is going to be tough to match for Seattle, that is a monster contract..
