  1. QUOTE(Jabroni @ May 13, 2005 -> 09:17 PM) Wow, Twins just had runners at 1st and 2nd but Doug Brocail struck out Shannon Stewart to end the inning. Brocail was also throwing 97 MPH
  2. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ May 13, 2005 -> 12:51 PM) Yeah, I've noticed...and I'm all broken up about it. Yeah f*** Willie Harris and his .312 average... while were at it, lets forget the RBI he has that is part of the reason were up one right now

    XBox 360

QUOTE(Queen Prawn @ May 13, 2005 -> 11:25 AM) We have PS2 at home at love it. My brother has XBox. I can't say I was overly impressed by it, but to each their own. I had a PS2 for about 2 1/2 years and the day I got my XBox is could tell a huge difference.. The graphics are smoother and the loading time is way faster.. The biggest difference that I could see in this case was in NCAA 2005.. When you simulated in dynasty mode it would take forever but with XBox the weeks go by so fast, the recruiting goes by so fast.. When you save a game on XBOX it takes like 5 seconds as opposed to the like 20 it takes PS2 which doesnt seem like much but when im in a hurry to go somewhere and im trying to save its faster
  4. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ May 13, 2005 -> 11:55 AM) That is unless you want an STD.... haha, I know, thats why I lost

  7. QUOTE(flippedoutpunk @ May 11, 2005 -> 03:42 PM) Me too!! Wasn't it sad how a robot could become more compassionate and understanding than humans?? Seriously though it was sad...
  8. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ May 11, 2005 -> 03:38 PM) You're a die hard if you've ever cried over something involving your team. I cried at the end of Terminator 2 I suppose sports would be a different thing, I dunno
  9. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ May 11, 2005 -> 03:36 PM) I'd argue if you have to ask yourself if you are a diehard fan, you're probably not. I think people who make remarks about people who argue about being die hard fans are not die hard fans themselves!
  10. Ide punch my mom in the face to sit behind first base at a Sox game.. Im talking first row
  11. QUOTE(qwerty @ May 11, 2005 -> 02:56 PM) Santana just made gibbons look like a fool. Gibbons already looked pretty bad before that though
  12. QUOTE(fathom @ May 11, 2005 -> 02:46 PM) Ozzie couldn't just leave well enough alone I guess. I can't criticize him for bringing in Marte to face two lefties, but leaving in Politte wouldn't have been a terrible decision. I agree, I wish we would have left him in
  13. Man Politte is filthy this year... He looks great EDIT: damn last pitch was 98
  14. unreal it seems like every time I see the Sox get the bases loaded they never get anything out of it
  15. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ May 11, 2005 -> 11:19 AM) MLB.tv is a solid alternative at $79.95 a year as well. Or you can get the hacked password and address and watch it all for free like I do
  16. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ May 10, 2005 -> 07:38 PM) I'm not sure lovefest is the right word, but I like him because he is one of the most humble, classiest players I have ever met. And he is very talented. Some guys, whether they make it big in the Majors or not are worth rooting for. Dont get me wrong, this has nothing to do with the type of person he is.. I am sure hes a stand up guy.. and of course he has talent, otherwise he wouldnt be where he is.. I just dont think he is gonna be a solid major league player.. I could be proven wrong though, and it wouldnt bother me either because it would only benefit the Sox
  17. QUOTE(beck72 @ May 11, 2005 -> 10:30 AM) I'd like to see the sox sign a SS like Cliff Pennington, someone who can hit for avg, has speed and plays good defense I like the "Baseball Analysts" take on him comparing him with Russ Adams.--------- "The least-known player of the group is Cliff Pennington, known as a scrappy player that impresses scouts and statheads alike. Pennington has great contact skills, runs well, and shows very good defense up the middle. What power he has shown this season is unlikely to transfer over much professionally, though he could very well be hitting 30 doubles a year in the Bigs. I might go as far to say that Pennington is the most likely of the group to be a league-average player across the board in the Majors, as Cliff looks to be everything Russ Adams was coming out of college. " I saw Pennington play last night, he looks pretty good
