  1. QUOTE(Steff @ Apr 18, 2005 -> 07:06 AM) So glad I only care about the wins and losses.. I would go absolutely batty if I worried about half the stupid crap complained about... Haha, I was just wondering the same thing... Intros?? I dont even know why they even have intros, this isnt professional wrestling..
  2. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Apr 17, 2005 -> 11:22 PM) That would be late 2nd round too...if he goes within the first 50 picks, that team pretty much has to be set everywhere else. I am thinking early 3rd, and I think it will be Arizona. Thats pretty much what im thinking too, IF Miami doesnt take him.. Thats a possibility
  3. My moms makes a bunch of snack food type things and I sit in front of the TV all day watching everything.. Oh yeah... Miami VS Chicago in the hall of fame game... Da Bears are goin DOWN!!
  4. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Apr 17, 2005 -> 08:41 PM) I don't lose interest in it, but I've become too busy nowadays where I don't think about it. I used to be one of those guys who would anticipate a game release for months. Now I'm just, oh, Live is coming out tommorow, I think I'll pick up a copy. I try to PS2 whenever I can, but usually there's a conflict. That's why I've only gone through 3 seasons since winning my 7th WS championship in MVP. NCAA Football 2006 is coming, you can bet your ass I will be counting down the days till it is released and I will be there an hour early to pick up my copy like I have done for the past 5 years
  5. Nope, not bored... the game is real good
  6. I cant believe no one posted this one.. I couldnt find the original funny one from when he was on Oakland but damn, this is scary..
  7. 3-4 Round is where he will go.. If a team REALLY gets a hard on for him, 2nd round... but I think the 3rd round is more of a real situation for him..
  8. QUOTE(CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Apr 16, 2005 -> 06:00 PM) I love apples Just green ones though, them red ones are gross
  9. QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Apr 16, 2005 -> 05:59 PM) Just what the thread title made me think of. Nevermind... burning.... herpes.... haha, i get jokes
  10. QUOTE(rangercal @ Apr 16, 2005 -> 05:50 PM) Sounds like your not a "tru" fan. I know, I f***en know. That was corny. But I am bored so now everyone must suffer! Ive never been a huge basketball fan, but when the two people you liked the team for are gone, its a tough time.. Hardaway use to be my favorite player.. now hes a nobody haha and you can laugh at me all you want, my team got destroyed...
  11. QUOTE(flippedoutpunk @ Apr 16, 2005 -> 05:57 PM) i cant find a pic of it, but it was some crazy design that takes up his whole upper arm the way that The Rocks tattoo does, but not as much.. Thats f***ing sweet!
  12. QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Apr 16, 2005 -> 05:56 PM) These Michael Vick threads are getting old in a hurry. huh
  13. QUOTE(flippedoutpunk @ Apr 16, 2005 -> 05:46 PM) did u see Garlands tattoo? its awesome No I didnt see it, what is it??
  14. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Apr 16, 2005 -> 05:38 PM) While we all know who the real winner is I go with Garland of those 2 well yeah Willie is sexy too but I made a comment to Steff and she said she didnt think Garland was cute
  15. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Apr 16, 2005 -> 05:29 PM) I'm saying that if he puts up a year like you have him pegged at -- then he's gonna get some good money in arbitration. I'm not saying it's a great move, but I can see the Sox being more committed to the vet in Hernandez rather than Garland. Yeah but Hernandez isnt gonna have much left in his career.. I think locking up Garland long term would be the better commitment for the club but I do get what your saying about age.. And Jabroni, we need to get to the playoffs first before Hernandez means anything to us then not age, but veteren, my bad
  16. Yesterday when we were talking about Garland this caught my attention, and I must know the truth to it.. My pick, is Jonny Boy
  17. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Apr 16, 2005 -> 05:24 PM) That's a good point. I'd really like to see Kenny's "Big Board" right now, as far as our staff for next year. I can assure you that Buehrle, Garcia, and probably McCarthy are on it. And El Duque, most likely. If Contreras has a big season, Garland may not be with us in '06... This is just crazy talk... Garland will be better than El Duque this year I am almost positive on that.. Contreras will prolly be around 14 - 9 with an ERA in the 4's mostlikely.. They are both in their 30's yet we got a young guy like Garland who isnt making that much and is pitching worth what we are paying for him with a chance to have a big year this year.. Why would he be the man who is gone? Garland > Contreras and El Duque It would be a dumb move to commit to the other two instead of Garland, imo, based on age, price, and performance
  18. QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Apr 16, 2005 -> 05:18 PM) So if T.O. has a subpar year next year the owner can then cut his salary right? Yep, they can cut him and not owe him a dime for whats left on the rest of his contract..
  19. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Apr 16, 2005 -> 05:16 PM) I personally wouldn't mind if the Sox locked Jon up on a three year contract. Average pitchers are making five to eight million a year, and up till now, Jon's been a league average pitcher. I realize he isn't awesome, but if you could lock him up for three years for at about ten million (not per year -- total, obviously), I'd probably do it. That, or if he has a huge season this year, sell him high to a team that wants pitching and is willing to give up a whole lot... Um if he has a huge season why would we want to get rid of him? Playing in our park we need our pitchers to be solid, if he has a huge season its all the more reason to keep him in the fold..
  20. haha man I didnt even Realize how pathetic Atlanta is
  21. QUOTE(ihatethecubs @ Apr 16, 2005 -> 04:56 PM) im in my 4th season for owner mode, ive filled my team with prospects, and they are finally starting to pay off. im still having a tough time makin money, any tips? Yeah play Dynasty mode instead, its a lot more fun
  22. TO does deserve to be paid, I mean come on he set a lot of single season records for the Eagles and is one of the most dominate WR in the game.. I have nothing against this since NFL contracts arent guaranteed.. If owners can cut players like its no big deal and not honor a contract I dont see why TO cant be paid like he deserves to be paid
