Pleasantly surprised with Crochet.. fully expected a stinker on offense. Benintendi swings a wet noodle while Moncada, Robert, and Eloy just swing at everything. Then 5-9 are just filled with mediocre to bad players.

I gotta say, these guys are going to suck but it is incredibly refreshing being able to watch the game and participate in the game thread without being pissed off and annoyed. Last season was just draining. Now, there is just zero expectations and hopefully development to watch.

They probably traded Nastrini for a 26 year old utility infielder, that's my guess.

I don't know, but they shed a lot of salary commitments at the deadline and didn't make any meaningful signings this off-season even when they said they couldn't "waste a year" so who knows.
