  1. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 11, 2005 -> 10:05 AM) Uribe would not have been able to make that play. There is no way he can get to that ball, get up, and still have enough time and/or arm to get the out at 1B. Crede was doing exactly what he should have done, and that was try to keep the ball on the IF. 3rd basemen are taught to take any play they can, especially ones where momentum is taking them towards 1B, and SSs away from there. It just makes sense that the player moving towards 3rd would be the first priority to try to make that play, even if he just knocked the ball down in the IF. I know, but everyone was saying that we lost because of Crede.. when there was still no guarantee the play would have been made.. a few even blamed him for the HR which was unreal
  2. You can blame Crede for keeping the inning going if you must, but even so theres no guarantee Juan would have been able to make the play.. You cant blame Crede for Mark getting the count to 3 - 1 and grooving a FB right down the middle.. that wasnt Credes fault.. We still won the series, who cares.. off the Cleveland now
  3. QUOTE(soxman352000 @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 06:53 PM) It just pisses you off because I think we deserve a little credit Weve finished 2nd in the division 3 years in a row now... i dont get why we arent getting at least a MENTION in the competition for the central..

  5. Harold Reynolds QUOTE "Its going to be a great race in the Central between the Tigers, Indians, and Twins" This was not 2 minutes ago after the Tigers Indians highlights from today... come on man, how can you not give any credit what so ever??? UN real

  15. Santana is not god everywhere I look its "I wish we werent facing Santana" I say bring it, and im sure our players are thinking the same.. lets f*** him up like Seattle did in the first inning..
  16. QUOTE(3E8 @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 11:46 AM) Well if you can say who cares that Timo hit a HR, how can you scold somebody for saying who cares Garland went 6 IP 3 ER? It's contradictory to me. Because Timo hit a HR and everyone is looking at qwerty and calling him out I didnt "scold" anyone I was just saying I didnt get how people could still be talking s*** about him after that, I seriously saw barely anyone give him props for a solid performance last night..
  17. QUOTE(3E8 @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 11:41 AM) timo helps the team yesterday, it's still okay to dislike him. garland helps the team yesterday, it's not acceptable to dislike him. me = confused. Because people still b****ed about Garland, even people who didnt like Timo werent trashing his HR
  18. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 11:05 AM) There is an old saying... You can't win a division in April, but you sure can lose it. Exactly.. Im wondering why everyone is saying "Oh its just April" these games still count the exact same as ones at the end of the year.. Wins now and getting off to a good start will only HELP us in the long run.. I dont like seeing the "Its just April" saying, thats crap.. Every game matter, there is no month of the season where you can take it easy because "its April" Who cares Timo hit a HR, hes still not that great of a player.. No real reason to throw that in qwertys face, it still doesnt make Timo good or gonna make anyone like him who doesnt.. Garland throws a quality start and people are still b****ing about him, get off his nuts.. Whe Minnesota tied the game, LUCKILY, we were tied with 3 runs off our 3 hits.. Finally they got up and gave Garland some support.. If your gonna find some way to bash 6 IP and 3 ER's, im pretty sure Garland could have gone another inning too, then I dont know what to tell you but you obviously just hate Garland and dont care if he succeeds or not.. Done with what I have to say
  19. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 04:09 PM) I dunno I obviously don't watch that many Cavs games but when they played the Bulls he was horrid with his jumper. Ive seen a few on TNT and sometimes he hits these jumpers over people that just make me say wow.. how did he hit that?? Everytime Ive seen him on TV though hes been carrying the sorry ass Cavs on his back
  20. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 04:05 PM) On a sperate note, is it just me or is LeBrons jumper very mediocre? I dont know about you but I dont think theres anything wrong with his jumper.. every time I see him play he has shot great
  21. QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 04:04 PM) Hmm, what did he ask for? Riches and b****es? quite possibly... I was just quoting the Nike commercial
  22. QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 03:58 PM) He is numero uno in the league if we're talking court vision. Three of the four categories you mentioned (shooting, assists, FTs) apply primarily to the backcourt. You can say that he's the best backcourt player in the league right now all things considered, and I might buy it. Take away 90% of my brain power (of the 10% that I'm using) and I'm still taking KG and Duncan 365 days a year, 24/7 without even giving it a second thought. LeBron didnt ask for Court Vision
  23. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 03:44 PM) I nominate this for the worst thread ever. Hype? Are you kidding me? Anyone who knows anything about the NBA knows that there are maybe four players in the league who are better than him and it can be successfully argued that he is the best player in the league. There is no one who could've lived up to the expectations that were set on this guy. He has in fact lived up to them as best as possible and has taken a team that lost its best inside player from last year to a possible playoff spot. Give me a break on the not living up to the hype. If he was on the Bulls you'd be slurping him up. With all things considred OVERALL (Shooting, Defense, FT's, Assists) I think LeBron is the best player in the league by those standards Shaq on the other.. (Pure Dominance)
  24. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 12:12 PM) Tru, I Don't know how you could say the Bulls don't have a guy that could avg 20 points a game in his career. Gordon averages like 15 a game in limited minutes and if he was on some crappy team getting 35 minutes a night he would be scoring 20 plus. I'm not saying he should be getting those type of minutes either, because the Bulls would be absolutely terrible if Gordon was getting those type of minutes. Gordon would be getting double doubles...20 points and 10 turnover nights while being a turnstyle defensively. And Eddy is as pure of a scorer as it gets. He still has a s***load to work on but this has been by far his best season and he's in great shape, worked hard. Skiles even seems to be liking him and he's about as explosive as it gets. He needs to improve defensively (but he's made strides in that department this year) and definately needs to at least get his rebounding to where he pulls down 7 or 8 a game. However in terms of scoring, he's more then capable of 20 points per. I dont know, I just dont think any of them on the roster right now would be true scoring threats..
