  1. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Jan 24, 2005 -> 12:01 PM) the best thing about this all is we got a good bench now once everyone is healthy. Gload, Willie, Everett, Ben Davis. While maybe not the best starters those 4 are great bench players. I still dont get why everyone is going nuts that "Now Willie cant start" yay!!!! now we can just start a guy who has never played in the MLB and is a HUGE questionmark insted of a guy who hit almost .265 with a near .350 OBP and has more speed and is younger than the guy who we have just signed!! Im not saying Iguchi was a bad signing, but Willie improved last season so what makes you think he wouldnt this year either? I just think people are getting too happy about no Willie Harris over someone who could be worse.. and then someone had the nerve to suggest the White Sox trade Harris AND Garland.... how dare you
  2. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jan 24, 2005 -> 09:29 AM) Click on my sig. yes I was just joking by the way
  3. I dont think theres any way you can give him less than an A but thats just me
  4. QUOTE(3E8 @ Jan 23, 2005 -> 11:56 AM) Why do I have a problem? I'd rather see the Sox have to pass a more difficult Twins team with Hunter. I know the Twins have owned the AL Central the past few years, that's why it'd be so much more meaningful to beat that same group of players. youd rather see the Sox have to play a harder team?? Yeah thats great logic seeing that we obviously havent been able to beat them for years now... YET you want one of the man players in that stretch to STAY!? thats ridiculous
  5. QUOTE(EvilJester99 @ Jan 23, 2005 -> 10:30 AM) Personally, I say f*** the rivalry and I would much rather see the Sox kicking the Twins ass everytime...but thats just me though. No your right.. anyone who wouldnt be sad to see Hunter go due to "Rivalry" purposes has a problem In case you didnt notice before the Twins own the AL Central
  6. haha self inflicted.. i laugh at that lets see... I have pierced my eyebrow with a safety pin (in study hall in 10th grade) the same year i stuck a safety pin through my lip and closed it, got sent to the principal for reasons I do not know.. whenever i have a strange bump or sore I dig at it with a knife and/or cut it off myself I have a little scar on me left bicep where I cut out a little chunk of skin to see if it would hurt, which it didnt pretty much anything that would have to do with sticking poking piercing or cutting to myself I will do it... I have a very high tolerence for pain.. I got my first tattoo on the back of my neck, like on the top of the spine and it didnt bother me at all.. I dunno whats wrong with me
  7. damn i thought he was bigger

  10. QUOTE(3E8 @ Jan 21, 2005 -> 07:40 PM) It only gets worse. I'd give anything to be back in high school. Not me, college is so much easier than HS I never have homework, all I have to do is go to class for like 2 hours a day 4 times a week and then im free for the rest of the time.. Its way better than HS ever was.. 8 hour days and homework for each class was such bulls***

  12. If your friend KNOWS he does this why does he just not? haha.. seems funny to me, you would think that if you know you do that stuff you would be able to fix that

    QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jan 19, 2005 -> 01:10 PM) That's how I ended up in the Houston area for a few years as a kid. Damn I miss it down there.... If only they had Chicago's financial markets down there, I would move in a heartbeat. Well everything is cheaper down here.. Costs 5.50 to go to the movies.. compared to the $10 I had to pay when I was up visiting family
  15. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jan 19, 2005 -> 07:08 AM) Its basically a clearing company. You pay them, and then they send your payment to the other person. That way only paypal has to see your personal info. I love it personally. It makes for instant payments instead of worrying about sending stuff in the mail. OK I think paying by PayPal would be easiest for me
  16. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Jan 19, 2005 -> 11:15 AM) EDIT: Hey, MoS, what did Knuckle do to get banned? Come to think of it, it has been Knuckle-free lately hasn't it. Banning a 4 year old...shame on you. I dont know what he did but its my job to make fun of him

    QUOTE(TheDybber @ Jan 19, 2005 -> 11:28 AM) Good thing I moved to Austin...I'm feel better amongst my people. Either just a smidge above average or people who don't apply ourselves enough for an A. haha yeah... I thought we moved from Chicago to Houston for my dads job.. Turned out they just needed to get me where I belonged
  20. QUOTE(TheBlackSox8 @ Jan 19, 2005 -> 12:40 PM) lmao....nice avatar you know it
  21. QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Jan 19, 2005 -> 12:39 PM) I just moved from there, and my folks live there. I lived in CS for 2 years (born in Austin) Thats cool, I live like 35 minutes from College Station.. Didnt think anyone was that close to me.. I think Kapkomet is the closest to me, but I guess not anymore
  22. QUOTE(Texsox @ Jan 19, 2005 -> 12:35 PM) That's the beauty of the internet. Plenty of real estate and plenty of sites for everyone. If a person can't find a site that reflects their views, they aren't trying too hard. This one is what it is and it seems to be working for most people. What do you miss most about College Station? What the? Who is in college station? I was just there the other night for a Par Tay

  24. QUOTE(Confederate_48 @ Jan 19, 2005 -> 10:53 AM) IGN Sports: One thing we're just finding about is Take Two's potential deal to get the exclusive MLB license. Does that mean the end to EA making baseball games? Frank Gibeau: We're going to have an announcement about this shortly. This is the way business works. It's a pretty exciting time in the sports category. It's interesting because it has flown under the radar for so long from the leagues and the partners, and the business has just gotten so big, games are bigger than box office now, that people are paying attention to it. The business is changing. That's just a simple fact and you have to adjust to it. The days of when this was a fun, cottage industry are pretty much gone, unfortunately. EA makes the best sports games.. If they lost out on making baseball games I would be very unhappy
