They lost AT Texas and AT Oklahoma State.... and both by 4 pts, those are BOTH qualtiy teams Not to mention they went INTO Lincoln and completely crushed Nebraska, and Nebraska is NO pushover at home

A&M beat K State for the Big 12 Title in the days of Michael Bishop... They won it in overtime, thats when K State had a chance at the National Title and they choked in the title game and then lost to Drew Brees and Purdue in the Alamo Bowl

ESPN is wrong then because I watched the game, and it wasnt 10 - 7 K State beat USC a couple years ago 10 - 7 when they had Carson Palmer in his senior year, but that was a few years ago EDIT: It was also the first game of the year so maybe it was a glitch?

QB is gonna be the weakest posistion on K States team this year... He has some snaps but they are all in mop up duties... K State has never had the greatest crop of WR's with the exception of the Lockett brothers and Quincy Morgan... but they get the job done.. They have a good sophomore in Jermaine Moriera.. Other than that they usually work the Junior Colleges and get steals from there... They will be fine there, but K State is a primary Rushing team, passing isnt the first option... Meier isnt as mobile as Roberson either, thats why Sproles is going to have to have a repeat of last year and then some...

The only way your going to a BCS game in the Big 12 is if you win the Big 12 Title or get the luck of the s***ass BCS System like OU did last year... That is not something that you can just up and win like its nothing... Kansas State Oklahoma Colorado Texas A&M Texas IIRC those are the only teams who have ever won the Big 12 Title in its exsistance, I think there is one more, I cant remember

There is nothing wrong with playing nobodies in non conference, if you can beat em all more power to you... but non conference doesnt mean s***, its what you do IN conference that is going to make your season

First off.... K State beat Cal 38 - 21 Look at the Nebraska and OU games... Nebraska and OU were both TOP defenses in the Nation last year, OU being #1 Nebraska 38 - 9 IN LINCOLN Oklahoma 35 - 7 Look at their losses too.. not ONE of them was more than 7 points, and thats against quality teams too with the Exception of Marshall but they didnt have Roberson for that game, which hurt them because Jeff Schwinn sucks ass (Last years back-up)

All you gotta do is go look at Kansas State pre Snyder and Kansas State WITH Snyder and that is proof enough... 4 non conference games a year isnt gonna make as big of a difference as you are making it out to be

YOU support the Jayhawks and your insulting K State??? Talk s*** when your team actually DOES something... Non Conference doesnt mean s***, the Big 12 is one of the best conferences in the Nation, I would say ACC now beats it out but that leaves them at #2.. If your gonna play the non conference card it would make a lot more sense if K State got beat down by all the better teams in the Big 12... They were the only team all year to OWN OU, and they BLEW them out.. LSU beat them, but it was a close game... K state crushed them, something no one else even came CLOSE to doing

you damn right it is... insted of being in class all day long your in class for like 4 hours a day... the rest of the day you can f*** around and do whatever you want... Living by yourself is the coolest thing youll experiance... Of coarse I moved back home after my first year of college, but I was 7 hours away and had no car.. Until I get my POS Camaro fixed I am gonna mooch off the parents as long as possible.. I have some very pathetic college stories from my experiance which has only been 1 year so far... I had no money, no car to get a job.. I use to have to eat saltines with mustard on them for dinner.. One time I heated up mamwhich sauce and just dipped my saltines into that, I use to donate plasma just to get my $15 to eat some real food.. lol.. You get real friendly with Tuna when its 50 cents a can haha.. Anyways, I guess my parents have changed since I am a college man now.. When I was in High School if I wasnt home by 12 my mom would be sitting there waiting for me to walk in the door and b**** at me... Now I come home at like 5 in the morning and they dont even care... Sometimes I dont LEAVE until 4 am... College is definatley better than High School... I wouldnt even say it was that much harder work wise either

That is the worst argument I have seen... You put the best RB in the Nation (Sproles) on a team that had the 5th OVERALL Defense in the Nation it does mean something... Its called 11 - 4 and Big 12 Champs not to mention they played in the Fiesta Bowl, a BCS bowl.. As you can see above K State had the #5 OVERALL defense in the nation, OU had the number #1.. Their defense was excellent in the big 12 last year, thats why they were 7 - 2 in Big 12 play.. The only let down they had was against Oklahoma State in which they gave up IIRC 38 points... Look what they did to the best Defense in the Nation, 35 - 7.. Not to mention OU also had one of the TOP Offenses in the nation and was undefeated and murdering everyone until they ran into K State.. Look at all the games and youll see that the Defense is what made K State a great team.. and the same goes for that every year.. their defense is constantly one of the tops in the nation and yes having the Best RB in the Nation helps you out a ton, but Defense is what wins you championships.. The only stud K State had on Defense was Josh Buhl, I dont even think he made an NFL team.. Everyone else youve probably never heard of.. thats how it is every year... they have one guy on D who stands out and everyone else just works their asses off and plays as hard as they can... Thats why K State has been on of the best teams in the Nation from the 90's on up.. And Bill Snyder is one of the best coaches in the Nation.. Look how he turned that program around.. He knows how to get his players fired up, and it shows

Yeah they dont have Roberson anymore or Buhl... Roberson was better than Meier but he is going to step in a do just fine.. Buhl was the leading tackler in the nation, but hes just one man on a defense that is year in and out one of the best in college football, he will be replaced with an equally productive player... Darren Sproles is all I need to say, he is going to carry this team... Yeah how many people WOULDNT have said OU was gonna win the Big 12 last year?? Did they??? Nope, they got blown away... So its not set in stone the winner of the Red River Shootout is going to win the Big 12

OU is the only team on that schedule that you can have an argument for that K State wont win... Other than that, its a weak schedule that favors the Wildcats

Babin and Robinson have looked great so far.. Of coarse a few mistakes come with being a rookie but Robinson is definatley a player who could become a pro bowler and an all pro at his posistion.. Babin is a hard worker and a grinder.. He is going to be good for the team... They also added Robaire Smith and moved Marcus Coleman to Safety which also improves the defense even more.. Their D is gonna be solid this year, and it would be a wise choice to play them against the Chargers.. The Chargers have done nothing to improve their team from last year, a Rookie QB (Especially one who missed the majority of camp) Is not gonna come out in game one of a new season and dominate a solid Defense, it doesnt happen.. They lost David Boston and they dont really have any good WR on the team...

Theres no way Nebraska wins the Big 12 North this year... Their Defense has been average and they are starting a Sophomore QB in a COMPLETELY new system... They dont have the correct athelets to run the new system they have there, thats why next year they will be better because Callahan recruited Speed and Athleticism.. New QB, New System.. They will be 8 - 4 at best this year
