  1. I dont get why the guy is complaining... he lost weight AND found out he doesnt have aids, not to mention got to free load off services for 8 years... Some poeple need to appreciate things a little more :headshake
  2. Soccer is the dumbest sport ever.... why do you like that crap?
  3. Yeah no just imagine what you would feel like if you were there when he CRUSHED #70 a few years ago into the upper deck in Center Field at Minute Maid Park after they walked him all game and the one chance he got, bye bye! It was the greatest thing I ever witnessed
  4. haha im not even gonna ask why and where you went to find that...
  5. hey even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once and a while
  6. Great Idea guys.. This is something that does need to be done.. I have been called names before, and I know this may be hard to believe, but yes.. even I... (sigh) have called people names on here... Getting rid of that is only going to make this a better site
  7. Thanks a lot guys... I gotta go sit through b**** ass English now with my teacher who looks and talks like Harry Caray... its a woman too
  8. Hey guys can I get an update score? CBSsportsline is f***in up and I am in the school library, I got class here soon and I wanna get a score before I go...
  9. What does that have to do with anything? I mean is it NOT there job to catch passes and play the game of football when the ball is thrown to them??
  10. You cant argue with production... and Trent Green has been one of the top rated passers in the league 2 years in a row now... Sure you can say its misleading because he has Priest and a good OL but I dont see anyone here claiming Peyton Manning is average due to Edge and Marvin Harrison?? How come? How is Bulger any better than Trent Green.. aside from his 22 TD's and 22 INT's he has arguably the best 1,2 combo at WR in Holt and Bruce not to mention Marshall Faulk who consistantly gets over 2,000 combined yards per yer.. David Carr... im just gonna laugh that one off and pretend I didnt see you actually say David Carr should be rated ahead of Trent Green.. Maybe in the FUTURE.. but now?? No way.. Everyone needs to get off the Michael Vick hype... he is not a good quarterback, he is an amazing ATHELETE... If your going by QB numbers and production Vick would be NOWHERE near the top.. that b**** isnt accurate for s***, but because he can run for 1,000 yards he is automatically a top 15 QB?? Hes got a rocket for an arm and if he can learn how to hit his WR's hes gonna be deadly, but like Carr you cant say he is one of the top QB's yet.. Everyone else you have a case for... but Green is definatley top 10 right now.. Numbers dont lie... It doesnt matter how you get them, when you look at the final stats Trent Green was second in the league in yards and had a damn good rating of 92.6, two years in a row mind you.. I like how you said "he only had 3 games over 350 passing yards" like its so easy for a QB to go out and throw for 350 yards.. Thats a LOT of yards for one game.. And PLEASE show me where Jim Miller ever threw for over 350 yards a game on a consistant basis because you said... ""He only had 3 games with over 350+ passing yards on the season....something that Jim Miller did damn near every year when healthy."" I dont even like KC, but im not gonna take away from Trent Green and say that he is average when he has clearly been more than that throughout his tenure in KC
  11. That doesnt matter.. what was said was he DOESNT put up a lot of passing yards which he does.. Trent Green is not overrated either... he is a good QB, I am not saying he is some all pro badass... but to say he is just average is not fair.. The O line may be badass and Holmes may be as well but he still has to make accurate throws and read the defense right.. There WAS a reason he was traded from St. Louis... his name was MVP Kurt Warner who got to step in when Green was hurt in the preseason.. Why are you gonna keep him around when you have an MVP???? It had nothing to do with talent, he was supposed to be starting for St Louis
  12. I hope your joking... Trent Green was second in the NFL Last Year with 4039 yards... Ide say thats racking up quite a few
  13. Then lets have a friendly bet The Lions will finish better than the Bears this year
  14. Why is Garland #52 in your sig??
  15. thank GOD someone else sees through the smoke screen Everything you have just said is a true about this team as it gets..
  16. Yeah I cant wait to see him play in the regular season
  17. It makes a HUGE difference to teams that pay top dollar for a player who does not get the stats...
  18. Thats what you think.... but im pretty sure they didnt pay him a HUGE ammount of money to be a distraction, they want him to be the man getting the sacks.. And just because he gest double teamed does not assure the other defensive lineman of getting gaudy sack numbers.. Although I cant wait to see Tommy and Tank play, I think those were two very solid and smart picks by the Bears... Harris is a beast
  19. Your exactly right, the Bears need to play great defense to have a shot at anything... As they are now their offense is not going to do a good enough job to get it done.. Grossman is going to be really good, I know that.. and I hope that the young wide outs step up, but it needs to be proven first.. The defense is what needs to keep the Bears in it this season, its what made them 13 - 3 a few years ago
  20. Hey thats cool... Im just saying that he is gonna be the main target now, and with the Chicago paid him he is now expected to be a 15+ sack a year man, which I dont see happening..
  21. First of all, if your trying to say Troy Brown is a no one where have you been the past 3 years?? He missed some of last year due to injury but here are the Pats top three WR Deion Branch 57 rec. 803 yards and 3 TD's David Givens 34 rec. 510 yards and 6 TD's Troy Brown 40 rec. 472 yards and 4 TD's The pats run an offense that spread the ball around, and all of their WR have been doing a solid job for three years now hence NE superbowls 2 CHI superbowls 0 That's a great example of why we can survive with the receivers that we have now. Another example is the Chiefs. Look at their top 3 WR's last year: Johnnie Morton, Eddie Kennison (their leading receiver among WR's), and Donte Hall. Now at KC.. they have one of if not the best offense in the league, and they do have talented players catching the ball for them as well.. Tony Gonzales 71 rec. 916 yards 10 TD's Eddie Kennison 56 rec. 853 yards 5 TD's Johnnie Morton 50 rec. 740 yards 4 TD's Johnnie Morton was a star in detroit, look at his career numers he isnt just some ok WR.. Eddie Kennison was a first round pick IIRC, and Tony Gonzalez is the best TE in the league.. Thinking the Bears have the same type as the Cheifs and Patriots is way off.. Look at the career numbers of what they have on the roster now, its not going to compare with these two teams... Not to mention they have Pro Bowl quarterbacks throwing to them as well.. Im not trying to knock the Bears I like them, but I just dont think they havea shot at the playoffs this year
  22. Yeah Charles Rogers got hurt and pretty much missed the majority of the Season, but when he played he was good for them... Roy Williams is going to be STUD Look at Harringtons numbers, they have improved each year and now he has those two to throw too, so I would expect some big numbers from him this year... Tait and Brown help big time on the O Line for Chicago but Ogunleye isnt going to get more than 8 sacks this year and you can Print that because he no longer has an all pro DE on the other side drawing double teams.. O Gun is now going to be the man getting double teamed, you are going to see what you really got.. Thats just how I feel

    Garland

actually im pretty sure Garland isnt trying to get his era over 5 Just because he is struggling young doesnt mean we need to shove him out of town.. RIGHT NOW he would be a great 5th starter for us, but down the road he is gonna be moving up the rotation... there are a lot worse options out there for us...
  24. Would you rather have Charles Rogers and Roy Williams or the two Bears starters?? Joey Harrington is about to go into his thrid year as the starter.. Yeah you could make a case for the RB posistion because no one knows how well Kevin Jones is going to do.. but no, I wouldnt say that those apply to the Lions as well They also added Brock Marion and Fernando Bryant and Damien Woody, three big picks ups for this team.. Im not a big Lions fan, but I think that they might shock some teams...
