because it HAPPENS im not gonna jump all over them for it, yeah they made fools of themselves... but Frank and Carlos are both batting .290 + and have been huge for this team this year If they werent doing good this year then i wouldnt see any reason for them to be thinking that, but they have been huge for this team this year and havent been making stupid ass mistakes on a nightly basis

Dude what does it matter? Carlos knocked in Frank and we got the RBI That doesnt change the final score... we play tomorrow, why worry about what happened last night... it will only ruin your focus

I guess I must be the only here who was a power hitter... All I know is there are time thats you make contact that you know its gone, and others that you have to question... He thought it was gone, it didnt happen... Did he get an RBI? Yes Did it matter? NO because pitching blew it anyways Im not trying to say its alright to do that, Im just saying that it HAPPENS and I know from experiance and no I never stood at home plate and admired it but I have half assed it out of the box due to the fact I thought it was gone.... Well I dont care how Carlos plays, im glad hes on my team well, if he became like full out lazy and no hustle then i would care... but admiring what he thought was a HR... it happens to the best of them... hell Frank did it too right before him

Well yeah everyone goes nuts when they hit their first HR but when you know your a power hitter and you have hit many HR's... When you think you got one its just like "Damn, that looks pretty" Its like something you do without thinking... like blinking or breathing

You hit a HR and sprinted around the bases??? That may be taking it a little far, but the feeling you get when you think you got all of it... its a great feeling, and I know how it feels so I cant blame Carlos for that again... pitching gave this game away so this point is useless

Have any of you ever hit a game tying or winning HR?? Because I know when I did it I also felt like admiring it, its just something that happens.. 15 - 18 wins a year is pretty close to being a great pitcher I think he will be a decent pitcher at the end of our rotation next year and I would be very pleased with 10 - 12 wins since we dont always have to go with the 5th starter and they dont get as many starts as the top of the line guys we have goin
