$75M = One of the worst White Sox LF Seasons
T R U replied to South Side Hit Men's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Yeah I wish Benintendi was on someone else’s team. Going to be a long 4 years. -
Yeah good job not trading Bummer. This organization continually makes the wrong move.
-
Why is Andrus leading off, better yet why is he even on this team. The towel was thrown in at the deadline youth should be filling this lineup not worthless veterans. I don’t get it.
-
Should be top 2 from each division for a total of 8 per league

8/11 White Sox vs. Brewers | 7:10PM NBCSCH
T R U replied to DoUEvenShift's topic in 2023 Season in Review
Competing in 2024, duh -
Who cares, Anderson deserved to be knocked out and the fact that no one did anything just proves how this is hardly a “team” anyways. This is the worst organization in baseball, easy.

Hopefully they lose 20-0

Kim Ng: "I called up my man Kenny Williams and got it done"
T R U replied to HoosierSox's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Bottom line is, Kim Ng didn't call KW at 4:30 on deadline day and say "We want Burger, lets work out a trade." Discussions had already taken place, all we know is she said she called up KW and got the deal done. Not started, done. You are of course free to interpret that however you want. -

It was never said at any point that Rick Hahn had nothing to do with this, its all assumptions based on something Kim Ng said when discussing the Marlins deadline deals. Again, people are looking way too into this and I get it, everyone wants Hahn gone so any form of info that looks like its happening is going to be brought up. -

You’re exactly right, which just means KW is just as responsible for this mess as Hahn is and they all need to go. -
Im from "Chicago", uniforms also though.

I will say this, and maybe it isn't relatable at all but who knows. In my job, there are certain vendors we use and I have contacts that I work with when using those vendors. Sometimes, when there is something urgent that needs to get done I will go above the contact I usually work with to talk with a higher up to make sure what I need happens or gets done. -
That is clearly a joke.

I agree with this. Until there are actual announced changes I am under the impression these same guys are all back next season in the same positions. Kim Ng has a professional and personal relationship with KW, of course she is going to name drop when discussing this. She actually seemed very proud to say she was a White Sox alumni. -

She was in the booth the other day and I am pretty sure I heard her say that they had been working on that one for a while and it didn't just come together at the last second. -
24-9 in 1 run games.
-
Trades have been good, her FA signing though have not
-
3 against the Rockies, 4 against the A's, 6 against the Royals, 3 against the Nationals. Unfortunately, we will win at least one more game.
-
Listen, I am not going to say you're wrong because I hope you're right but Kim Ng referencing her working and personal relationship when talking about dealing with the White Sox isn't enough to get me to believe Hahn is out. Also didn't one of those James guys address the situation right before the deadline and said the idea that KW is secretly pulling all the strings now was nonsense?
-
I think that clearly meant what the plan is (rebuilding? retooling?) for the people in charge (coaching staff)
-
They refuse to make the signings required to get there. They traded away 3 prime assets for a single core of players and never supplemented them, didn't draft well, and had zero back up plan if they didn't pan out.
