  1. Its whatever at this point, there's nothing we can do.
  2. Everything about this organization is a total disaster from the owners box, into the front office, to the manager, to the product on the field. Just total garbage from top to bottom.
  3. There is a 0.0 percent chance this was the best deal on the table for Fedde. I refuse to believe that.
  4. Well, im officially terrified of this goofball getting to trade Crochet and Robert.
  5. Man im sorry, but turning Fedde, Kopech, and Pham into a disappointing young player and two 19 year old mediocre prospects is such a colossal failure. Im having a hard time even understanding why they would do this.
  6. I don't see it as the Dodgers ever trading for Fedde. They traded with St. Louis to give them the assets required to get Fedde from the White Sox. They also traded for Kopech. Seems to me the only reason the Dodgers were involved was to help St. Louis with salary relief by taking Edman and helping them get the ammo for Fedde/Pham.
  7. If we traded Fedde to the Dodgers for Vargas and those two prospects, I would be pretty underwhelmed. Not as shocked as I am at the actual trade, but pretty disappointed none the less.
  8. Dodgers traded Vargas/Prospect(s) for Edman and then traded Vargas/Prospect(s) for Kopech. Then St. Louis traded Vargas/Prospect(s) for Fedde and Pham.
  9. If you want to hang on to hope, MLB.com still says no team involved has confirmed the deal as of yet.
  10. There is no way to defend this trade. Not even WestEddy can spin this.
  11. Kopech and Edman for Vargas and the two prospects make sense. Fedde and Pham to St. Louis for fucking free makes no sense what so ever.
  12. Its being published on MLB.com and Whitesox.com and there is nothing at all noting were still waiting on Cardinals prospects. This is the deal sadly.
  13. Same here, this makes no sense at all. Why are the Dodgers even facilitating this?
  14. I don't understand at all how the Cardinals get Fedde and Pham in this deal and only had to give up an injured player making $7million this year. What the actual f***?
  15. I am absolutely stunned by this return. How do the Cardinals get Fedde and Pham and only have to give up Edman? He hasn't even played this season!
  16. lmao, did we just trade Fedde, Pham, AND Kopech for Vargas and 3 back end 2B prospects?
  17. Or said for that matter. This is the guy who thinks finishing 3rd or 4th doesn't mean it was a bad year.
  18. Getz was the cheap in house option that didn't require an 88 year old man to engage in a deep search for a new baseball operation. Getz didn't play him, he's the perfect hire for what JR wants.
  19. Tampa always seems to know when to get out though, so well see.
  20. I agree on DeJong, I wouldn't be surprised at all if he isn't even moved. Pham though is a really nice platoon option against lefties and is cheap, and with the White Sox being open for business so early in the process im a little surprised he hasn't been moved ahead of deadline day. I guess there's still today, but you get my point.
  21. Sure, not as a primary target. They should be cheap which is attractive to a lot of teams who can't realistically go after the bigger fish either because they can't afford it or just don't want to. Ill stand by my stance that its alarming that nothing has been done with a little over 1 day remaining. I don't expect Crochet or Robert to move at this point.
  22. This team has been out of it since April. The fact that nothing has been done with some of these guys is alarming. Its probably a combination of no one wanting our shitty players and Getz just not being good at his job. I can understand not moving Crochet and Robert right now. Fedde & Kopech, im not sure what the hold up is dialogue on these players should have been started a while ago. I don't expect anything worth a s%*# for any other player on this team, but even guys like Pham and DeJong probably should have already been jettisoned in the last week.
  23. No kidding. Especially Crochet, from the off season where he pretty much demanded to be a starter to now seeming calling all the shots with his workload management and then finally this contract stuff. The deadline is tomorrow, there is zero chance all these deals get done by then. This is the cherry on top of the s%*# sundae of the 2024 season.
