  1. Bunch of losers. Absolutely pathetic they didn’t do a fucking thing to try and win this division. Fuck you white sox.
  2. We will just have to agree to disagree. Its definitely not a "big return" no matter whose rankings your looking at, lets settle down there.
  3. Well, he would be leading our team in HR and RBI's for starters.
  4. What about Fangraphs? They have Sosa as our #3 with a 45 FV All those twins guys still 40/45 FV Its an OK return.
  5. Pretty sure these were all just recently updated. Like I said, this is not an impressive return.
  6. I just need to reiterate how disappointing this team has been this year. In all facets. It really sucks.
  7. How so, these guys are all 40/45 FV
  8. Same here, if nothing more than to weaken their system and also hopefully put the nail in the coffin for this regime
  9. Im starting to think they do nothing because all this team needs to do is play to their potential and well be good
  10. This is just not a very good take Jack, of course its relevant.
  11. He has been good for the past 3 seasons and is relatively cheap the remainder of this season and next. Hes struggling this year so maybe we could get him cheaper than usual. He would be exactly who we would be interested in.
  12. Cmon guys, if Giolito was on a different bad team right now there would be a huge thread talking about what we would give up to get him. It just so happens hes on our bad team right now and part of the reason we are underachieving so we have a jaded view of him.
  13. We don't need to tear it down to the foundation and rebuild, but they absolutely need to re-tool. Here is what must happen this offseason if we miss the playoffs. * LaRussa is relieved of his duties. * Hahn is relieved of his duties. * A new GM/Manager combo, from outside of the organization, is brought in the reshape the current foundation. That's a start.
  14. While I believe the White Sox did indeed try to win, they certainly weren't ever in the "do whatever it takes to win" category. It was more of a "do what were going to do and if we win great if not, oh well" type of deal. It's also not what we were promised at all.
  15. Do you think anyone on this team hits 20 or more HR's this season? I would lean towards no
  16. Most likely because they weren't going to do that exactly (cover everything)
  17. If everyone on the Sox starts playing like they should be playing, I still think were better. Unfortunately, that's a tall ask.
  18. You don't think its even a little bit of a head scratcher that they committed approx. $5.5 million dollars to another reliever
  19. Sorry, to clarify I wasn't trying to say Cleveland wasn't cheap. I am aware that they are. It was more of a reaction from the comparison to the Sox.
  20. Yes, the White Sox do a great job of having a collection of players in the 10-18 million dollar range. That's how these guys operate. Well offer the 100 million dollar deal even though this guy is going to sign for 150 million plus to say "hey, we are trying".
  21. They are cheap? Were in the Chicago market and haven't given out a contract larger than 73 Million Royals, White Sox, Athletics, Pirates... the only teams in baseball to not exceed a 100 million dollar deal.. pathetic
  22. Sure, the outcome that it all comes together and hes an elite reliever is there. I just don't think that's what is he now moving forward. I think hes having a great year, but I don't think this is what he is in the future.
  23. Jorge Lopez was absolute garbage until this season Either the light switched on at 29 years old and hes an elite closer or hes just having a fluky season and will revert back to the 6.00 ERA gas can he has always been. I would bet the latter
