  1. I would trade Robert if it meant getting Juan Soto. There is nothing in this organization I wouldn’t move to get him. The only issue is they would never pay the man what it would take to keep him beyond two years.
  2. The Yankees want to trade Gallo because he is an under performing OFer so the will trade Gallo for Pollock who is an under performiong OFer AND has a player option for $10 million next year. This is not happening.
  3. Well hopefully he still feels that way in the offseason and declines his player option.
  4. To be fair, its not like we would have had Rodon anyways. They picked trying to trade Kimbrel over offering the QO to Rodon. I am sure he would have rejected that and since we didn't offer the QO its safe to assume they weren't going to give him a 2 year 44 million dollar deal. They should have declined Kimbrel, offered QO to Rodon, and then spent that 18 million elsewhere. Joc Pederson would have been perfect as a LH RF bat that would have been affordable.
  5. Moncada, overall, has stunk this season which is why I said "if they don't turn it around" which he has recently but there's still a lot to go. I don't care what fangraphs says, the White Sox cant afford to pay 15 HR's 60 RBI's and solid defense 25 million per year.
  6. Enough with the early signings. We are already looking at dead money in Eloy and Moncada if they don't turn it around. Moncada makes 17.8 million next year and then 24.8 million in 2023 before we can exit the deal in 2024. You can't pay that much money to non difference makers. That's what he is currently and has been with the exception of 2019.
  7. There is no budget room for the Sox to take on a large commitment. They wouldn't spend meaningful money to fill the holes in 2B and RF so what makes you think that will happen at the trade deadline? We could use upgrades at 2B and RF (shocking, I know) also bullpen (unreal, spent way too much money here to need more help) maybe another SP to help with workload. Were most likely looking at Braves like additions from last season, although, it did work out for them.
  8. I can already hear the collective groan of the nation when he makes a terrible arrested development joke
  9. I would rather see Colas go straight to the majors than allow Rick Hahn to make another trade for this franchise.
  10. Honestly the shock factor is gone, now I’m just kind of expecting the head scratching moves
  11. Oh man I still remember seeing that and thinking it was just one of those token gestures and then all of the sudden it was like shit, they really hired this guy.
  12. Some halfwit in the game thread called sox fans classless for booing and chanting fire Tony
  13. Lol wtf that’s the same fucking replay they just overturned
  14. I think that depends. If they turn it around and finish strong he probably doesn’t leave. I could see a scenario where Hahn gets fired and Tony doesn’t if they continue to fade.
  15. Guys just stop, Tony was never getting moved into the office or fired. It would have already happened. The only reason he’s the manager was because he was let go when he shouldn’t have back in 1970. JR isn’t going to do it again.
  16. The regression and lack of roster flexibility has just derailed this teams future
