  1. Mrs. Rubarb has already put up the Tree and decorations. That was a lot of fun! My thinking is people want it to look festive by Thanksgiving, now. For me it means I get to drink whiskey-laden eggnog earlier... (like I need an excuse)
  2. Since I voted for myself 4 times already, I'll need someone else to pick up the slack to put me on top.
  3. Payroll will be increased. From $51 Million to $55 Million..
  4. Thanks! Give all the cred to CubSuck1
  5. When people don't respect the GOD I am and insist on testing my powers and I have to destroy them... Thats really annoying. Seriously...MTV cribs annoys me when they show an "artist" who hasn't even released an album yet and they have 20 cars, gold plated swimming pools and 4,567 bottles of Cristal. Hasn't anyone heard of Hammer? Ask Homer, he bought his house...
  6. I was trying to post this story this morning...damn computer. Anyway here is the ESPN link: http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=1665189 Red makes Jerry sleepy...
  7. Let Parcells deal with him in Big D, that'll be the ONLY team crazy to take a chance on him. He loves Bill and acts like they talk daily about how great he is to the NFL.
  8. I would have to go with Mo Vaughn vs Albert Belle as the one that sticks out in my mind from recent years. Belle put up great numbers in a strike shortened season in 1995 .317 50 HOMERS and 126 rbis and a 1.091 OPS in only 143 games and his Indians won 100 games that short year. But he was...and as an asshole. The writers went with, at the time mind you, a fan friendly choice of Mo Vaughn. Who also put up great numbers .300 39 homers and also 126 rbis and a .963 OPS in 140 games
  9. Thats because the Neverland ranch is subtitled: The He-Man Woman Haters Club! No icky girls allowed!!! They got cooties!!
  10. The Yen is mightier than the sword... We pay, he will come here.
  11. I remember reading on ESPN.com he would be looking for around 3-4 million a year.
  12. Was this Paul McCartney's band before Wings?!?
  13. I think he would be a great RH set-up man for Marte and our future closer.... who ever that is....
  14. Let me dream for a moment, before you crush me...
  15. Don't you feel that he would, not only, provide us with a stable leadoff hitter and great defense at 2b...but he's presence would provide added publicity and attnedence that would make up his cost. We are listed down on the list as possible suitors. I see his best options as us and LA. Seattle and NY he wouldn't be the only Japanese star on the team. Here or LA he would be the Big draw in a Big market! Lots of Ad money too!
  16. Some just cannot handle the pressure and others thrive on it! Hawkins will blow up in someone's face as a closer, especially in NY
  17. I find that getting the girl drunk helps alot!. Slip some vodka into her juice during lunch. Seriously, make the girl laugh...and just talk to her. Then you are in like flint...
  18. And to think Danny Evans was trying to trade him to us for Bobby Howry a couple years back. KW and JM would have kept him a starter, though.
  19. Tnaks for the Noms guys. I vote for The Cheat BeGOOD Soxfan1..I love that uni!
  20. I say the Frank "Grimey" Grimes episode! My wife would choose the Sherry Bobbins.
  21. We are going from Colon needing an interpreter, to Buehrle needing one.
  22. Did you let the video load up? It's just a goofy "Gong Show"-esque performance of tow guys playing ping-pong and utilizing Matrix effects live.
  23. Ah those Japenese TV shows...you gotta love them! Matrix Ping Pong!
