QUOTE(Steve9347 @ May 10, 2007 -> 01:45 PM) AND Uncle Rico... I was hoping he would have been throwing a football outside his van at one point during the episode.

QUOTE(BobDylan @ May 9, 2007 -> 11:41 PM) Jacob is Locke. That's my feeling now. Who is Number One? You are Number Six. Also, I have a feeling next week Charlie will pull a "Alec Guiness/Bridge over the River Kwai" to save his friends.

QUOTE(kyyle23 @ May 9, 2007 -> 10:16 PM) Jacob just became interesting as well. I thought it was a show that Ben was putting on like Locke did, but Locke saw Jacob for a second and it freaked him out. I wonder if it is the spirit of one of the Dharma Initiative(maybe the guy whose eyes were closed by Ben?) Here's a quick screengrab by someone else...

Now that's AN ENDING!!!! So, now the new questions arise: If the Dharma group was killed...who are the "natives"? Are they just a group of scientists? I think Ben did what he did because the people started to look to Locke like they did to Ben when he was younger. A special person who can communicate with the island.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ May 8, 2007 -> 11:42 AM) I'd still prefer the Scooby Doo ending with Phyillis Diller as the smoke monster who would have gotten away with it, if it wasn't for those pesky kids. I want the ending where Sawyer can't say goodbye to Jack. Sawyer departs on a motorcycle without saying anything to Jack and as Jack leaves the island in a helicopter he peers down and sees "Goodbye" written in sandbags by Sawyer on the beach.

QUOTE(juddling @ May 7, 2007 -> 02:10 PM) I think the show ends with the Harlem Globetrotters showing up on the island and rescuing the remaining losties...but not before Curly Neal takes on Hurley in a game of ping-pong. That would be a Robot-Hurley created by Martin Landau, though...right?

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ May 7, 2007 -> 11:12 AM) Especially when you think that something like this could be a test run by someone like Al Qaeda... ...or someone else. I keep thinking we forget the homegrown, American terrorists we already have on this soil.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ May 7, 2007 -> 08:49 AM) So we are going to get 4 straight months of show, and then eight months of nothing... Sounds like they have been talking to the Soprano's staff I was thinking the exact same thing!!

This just in... Only 52 episodes of LOST left!!! Lost will run three more seasons after the one that concludes this month. Each of the final three seasons will only contain 16 episodes, instead of the 23 or 24 produced for the first three seasons. The 16-episode seasons will run without repeats. http://www.variety.com/article/VR111796437...mp;cs=1&p=0 Sounds like a compromise between Producers and ABC. Less episodes per year so things aren't dragged out.(Remember they wanted to end it in 2009) and ABC get an extra year of Ad revenue.

QUOTE(knightni @ May 2, 2007 -> 10:39 PM) "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" has GOT to be scripted. I mean for $300,000: "What's Mark Twain's real name?" He has to ask the kid... cmon... And.... What is it?!?!?!?!?! I can't stand the suspense!!!!

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 26, 2007 -> 10:23 AM) Yeah, that was incredible. Now we have to figure out who would set that up, and why. It makes you think there is a real reason why all these people with connections were on the same plane. That it is not just a coincidence. That this was an elaborate set-up from the start.

Oct 20?!? Did I miss it or am I early?

I still think Meadow takes over the family ala Michael Corleone. The good offspring turns bad. She has been slowly defending and accepting her family's role more and more... QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 24, 2007 -> 10:49 AM) My guess has been for a while that Tony gets flipped and goes into witness protection with the family. There have been hints about it before in some of his dreams. I think that would be a great ending...A real purgetory for Tony. David Chase has always said "Goodfellas" is his bible for "The Sopranos"

QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Apr 20, 2007 -> 11:24 AM) I bet Lou Piniella or Joe Torre wins a World Series with that team too. Put them on the Royals or DRays and I bet they lose. Oh, that's right, Piniella already managed the DRays and they crawled out of the cellar once. Is it about the talent on the field or the manager in the dugout? Ozzie managed the pen pretty well that year, but it's a hell of a lot easier to manage a bullpen when you have 5 relievers that pitched as well as Hermanson, Politte, Cotts, Vizcaino, and Jenks did. It also doesn't hurt that the Sox had 4 guys give them 200+ innings of sub 4 ERA, and 3 guys that gave them 220+ innings of sub 4 ERA. The fact of the matter is that coaching (ie the adjustments Cooper made to the entire pitching staff) and talent won that World Series, and Ozzie, though he managed well, did hardly anything to win it. Now you are trying to convince me he is a logical manager when he keeps the worst hitter in the league leading off...how is that logical? How? Wait...you mean you need good players to win a championship?!?!? Yes, we know that. But, also understand what a bad manager can do to a talented ball club. Sorry...complain all you like, Ozzie and his managerial abiltites were a major...let me rephrase...MAJOR reason we won it all in 2005. I waited for a championship for a long time. I prayed for just ONE in my lifetime. Ozzie helped give me that. I would never dare call him a idiot, moron, or horrible...simply becuse its an insult to what we gave all of us and it simply isn't true. Does he make mistakes...sure all managers do. But is he the cause of all our issues. HELL NO.

QUOTE(Capn12 @ Apr 19, 2007 -> 02:11 PM) Ozzie gets a lifetime of pardons apparently from some, because he was fortunate enough to be managing one of, if not THE best pitching performance in the postseason. How hard is it to manage a pitching staff that is throwing CGs, and dominating? I mean seriously, take off the Ozzie love glasses, and you may notice that he is not able to walk on water. His managing style follows no logic or sense at all. Tell me again, what does grindErstad bring to this team that we didn't have already in a cheaper, faster, younger version? Oh its ok, he has those 'intangibles'..I'm sorry. Ask Dusty Baker and the 2003 Cubs...Ask Bobby Cox and all the years with the Braves...Ask ANYBODY how easy it is to Manage a Major League Baseball club in the World Series. You think it's EASY?!? wow
